Seungri's 'Banned' Solo Song, Voluntarily Deleted Music Video Kiss Scene

It has become known late that the passionate kiss scene in Big Bang's Seungri's 'Strong Baby' music video was voluntarily deleted.
A high ranked affiliate of YG Entertainment, Big Bang's agency, had a phone conversation with Money Today Star News in the afternoon of the 6th and revealed that "Seungri's solo 'Strong Baby''s music video was released on the 1st" and "this music video was directed by Seo Hyun Seung director, who has made many of Big Bang's music videos so far."
This affiliate said, "According to Seo Hyun Seung director and the agency, the music video was meant to congratulate Seungri's becoming twenty years old, an adult, and was shot emphasizing his mature and manly attractiveness to the fullest" and "however after completing the shooting, there were too many scenes with Seungri's passionate kiss scene, so these images were deleted voluntarily after discussion."
Additionally he/she said, "Currently Seungri's 'Strong Baby' music video has passed MBC, SBS, and other stations' deliberations."

Angela Tong may take Chin Ka Lok to meet her parents
Angela Tong's parents are returning to Hong kong from Canada to spend the chinese New Year with her. Reporters asked Angela if she is arranging Chin Ka Lok to meet her parents? Angela replied "We are only friends, I haven't met his elder brother yet". Angela may go to Las Vegas with Eric Tsang during the Chinese New Year period, but she doesn't know her work schedule yet. If she is staying in Hong kong and attend any New Year activities, he may have a chance to meet Angela's parents if they attend those functions with her.
Angela stressed that she didn't want to talk about the incidence involving her alleged "drink drive". She said she was relieved when she found out the couple were not seriously injured. First Korean film to tackle the stock market

After the success of recent Korean films like "Tazza: The High Rollers" ("The War Of Flower"), which centered around intricately executed money scams, there was little doubt that one about working the stock market would soon follow.
"The Scam", the debut film from director Lee Ho-jae-I about an unemployed slacker trying to plunder 600 billion won from the stock market, was announced for a nationwide Feb. 12 release at a press conference yesterday at the Sofitel Ambassador in Seoul. The Showbox release features Hallyu star Park Yong-ha, plus Kim Min-jeong, Park Hee-soon and former musical actor Kim Moo-yeol.
Kim Min-jeong, better known for playing archetypal feminine heroines, here plays an ice-cold business woman. Kim Moo-yeol, known for playing criminals on television and the silver screen, revisits this role, this time playing a reformed gangster trying to run a legitimate savings and loan business. Rounding out the four is Kim Mu-yeol, who plays the stock broker who is the brains behind the operation.

Joo Ji-hoon is Don Juan

Joo Ji-hoon (Devil, Goong) is debuting on the musical stage in a production of Don Juan. Last seen in the movie Antique Bakery, the 27-year-old Joo promises to show a “whole new side of me that hasn’t been seen in dramas or movies.”
He’ll alternate the role alongside musical actors Kim Da-hyun and Kang Tae-eul, and while Korean actors will take the acting roles, the dancing will be performed by 13 Spanish flamenco dancers, including Maria Lopez and Ricardo Lopez, who led the version of Don Juan that premiered in Montreal in 2004.
In addition to the musical, Joo has a movie that’s preparing for release on February 5, the melodrama Kitchen which co-stars his Devil castmate Shin Mina and is based on the Yoshimoto Banana novel of the same name. The musical will premiere on February 6 and run through March 8.

Infinity Challenge and 1 Night 2 Days Have Guidelines Too

This was kind of coming after the script for Family Outing was published. Curious netizens managed to discover that there are scripts for Infinity Challenge and 1 Night 2 Days after seeing it in the May 2008 issue of the in-house magazine published by the Korean TV and Radio Writers Association.
It was the exact same scenario with Family Outing in that each member was assigned specific lines while detailed specific instructions for various segments were written in the script. Some netizens felt betrayed at this latest relevation, “I am very disappointed. They keep emphasizing on the reality part but actually there’s a script. I don’t have the mood to watch anymore.”
But there were sensible netizens who expressed, “There are simply too much details on the show that can be accomodated in the script. If you compare closely, what happens in the broadcast is totally different from the script. The script only serves as a basic guideline to ensure that the program flows smoothly. Jackie Chan Wins Best Charity Song Award

Christmas and New Year has been a busy time for action star Jackie Chan.
Filming for Chan’s latest movie, The Spy Next Door, has wrapped up in the US, and the star has jetted back to China, where his itinerary has been busy with charity work.
The 54-year-old has – in the last two weeks – performed in the “Music/Love 2008” concert and attended a ceremony where he was named Honorary Chairman for a special program called Volunteers Bring Love to China. He also filmed a cameo for a children’s movie titled Finding Jackie Chan, and been named Vice Chairman of the China Film Association.
But the biggest news for the actor/singer was the honor of being awarded the Best Charity Song Award at the 2008 China Mobile Wireless Music Awards. Chan recorded “Love Through Life and Death” to raise funds and awareness for victims of the May 12 earthquake in Southwest China’s Sichuan Province.
“This award is dedicated to those volunteers working in the forefront of the earthquake rescue and relief works, and also those who contributed a lot and still remain unknown,“ he said.

Mainland actor Li Yapeng is today better known as the husband of singing superstar Faye Wong, but 10 years ago he was an icon among young people and even bigger than his wife.
His glory is largely attributed to the teen television drama "Cherish Our Lover Forever" ("Jiang Ai Qing Jin Xing Dao Di"). The show focused on the lives and loves of a group of university students and was a huge hit in the late 1990s.

"Something about Love" is the first presentation of Li's Spring Drama Studio and the plot is a sequel to his smash-hit television show.
Li has kept the production young and fresh. Director Rao Xiaozhi and all the actors are less than 30 years old.

Super Junior Asia Encore Tour Gathers 13,000 Spectators

The boy band Super Junior’s First Asia Tour - Super Show Encore, held at the Olympic Park fencing stadium Sunday, focused on using the entire hall as a performing stage to minimize the physical distance to the audience.
The 13 members appeared from below the stage, soared high overhead with the help of a crane and moved on mobile stages to reach the standing seats. They were literally all over the performance hall, looking eye-to-eye even with the third floor audience members. Their movement was carefully planned with the help of special stage equipment installed in all corners of the venue.
The show started with the hits “Twins” and “Don’t Don!” known for their synchronized group dances. The participation of all members was the highlight of the day’s show.
Super Junior members spun off last year in various smaller groups such as SJ-K.R.Y, SJ-M, SJ-T and SJ-Happy, resulting in far more diverse and colorful performances.
Super Junior-K.R.Y showcased a moving ballad to the accompaniment of Siwon and Seongmin’s guitar playing, while SJ-T performed its hit song “Rukkuguh” and other trot songs sung by past singers.

Japanese Professor Ashida, a critic and writer, rates the Kouhaku performances yearly on his personal blog. The boys are 5th in the ranking with 80 points and he has a high review and regard of them, comparing them with top artists and biggest sellers in Japan, even as Kouhaku was his first time seeing/hearing the boys.

Idol Stars Gearing Up for Various Activities

The idol forecast for 2009 will be bright with new groups, individual activities, concerts and tours.
Super Junior, the 13-member pop group, saw some of its members branching out here and also abroad through smaller “units” like Super Junior-T, Super Junior-Happy, Super Junior-M and Super Junior-K.R.Y, but this year will see all of the members getting together as one whole group.
“We think we show our best performances when we are all working together. We will show everyone what Super Junior has in store this year, all together,” the members said at a recent press conference before their concert scheduled for this month.
The group will release its third album in March. While the members of Super Junior are getting back together, Big Bang is gearing up for solo activities.
The five-member pop group is holding concerts from Jan. 30 to Feb. 1 and will greet fans individually through different projects. Victory, known as Seung-ri here, has started performing solo songs recently.

Singing the theme song for SS501 leader Kim HyunJoong for his drama appearance KBS 'Boys Over Flowers' showing support for the love for their leader.
SS501 participated for 'Boys Over Flowers' OST recently, and sang for the song '내 머리가 나빠' (Nae MeoRiGa NaBba, means 'I am stupid', lit means my brain is bad/I have no brains) included in it. This song would be the background music when Kim HyunJoong comes on screen, and viewers would be able to enjoy the song by Kim HyunJoong and SS501.

Next in the relay as relief-host for Taiwan singing competition "One Million Star", is popular Taiwanese actress Rainie Yang. She will be hosting two episodes of the Top Ten challenges with co-relief-host Kevin Tsai.
As a singer, Yang said she is honored to be given the opportunity to host the program which unravels new talents. She is also glad to share her singing experiences with the contestants.

DBSK’s management SM Entertainment’s staff said, “If we count all the DBSK fourht album that have been sold, it has officially passed the 490 000 mark on the 31st of December. 500 000 isn’t a difficult to achieve now. Anytime soon.”
With this, Seo Tae Ji’s record has been broken by DBSK in four years. Seo Tae Ji had sold 482 000 copies of his seventh album last 2004.
