3/27/05 - Often portrayed as a pair in commercials, Korean megastars Jeon Ji Hyun and Jung Woo Sung will finally take their chemistry to the big screen and star in a movie directed by Hong Kong Director Lau Wai-keung. The title of the movie is "Daisy", and scheduled to start filming in the Netherlands in July. Lau won't reveal too much being about the project, he just expressed his confidence in working with a Korean film crew, and that he looks forward to exposing a fresh new side of JJH.

Top-star Jeon Ji-hyun has chosen the Hong Kong movie “Daisy,” directed by Andrew Lau, as her next production. She will play opposite Jeong Woo-seong, who played the lead in the movie “A Moment to Remember.” “Daisy” will be directed by Andrew Lau, who also directed the “Internal Affairs” series, while the script will be overseen by director Kwak Jae-yong, who directed “Windstruck.”

The movie’s production company, iFilm, said April 12 that it is currently making final decisions on casting and will begin shooting in mid-May. “Daisy” is a story about the inevitable showdown between a detective and a killer who fall in love with the same woman. In the story, Jeon plays a street artist who dreams of opening her own exhibition someday, while Jeong portrays a killer who loves her but cannot confess his love to her because of his profession.

Simon Yam will play the supporting role of a boss in the story. The production team is currently looking for one more supporting actor for the movie. "This is a strategic movie targeting the entire global market. We expect it to become a noir drama with the distinctive features of a melodrama," said iFilm.

“Daisy” is the product of a collaboration of high-profile actors and production crews from Korea and China: Andrew Lau, who directed “A Man Called Hero” and “Internal Affairs,” Kwak Jae-yong, who had a chance to work with Jeon Ji-hyun in “Windstruck” and “My Sassy Girl,” the production crew of “Internal Affairs,” the martial arts team of “Spiderman” and the simultaneous recording team of “Taegeugki.”

”Daisy” will be filmed in the Netherlands and will open this December.

my friend told me that theres this new korean movie with Gwak Jae Yong as director and Jeon Ji Hyeon

both from my sassy girl movies, just wondering if this was true or somethin... kinda got me hyped

ahhh of love them both...cant believe my 2 favriote actors making a movie together...and i especially loved jeong woo in a moment to rember (sad movie by the way) and cant wait till it comes out....he is such a great actor and same as the lead actress....yippe cant wait to see the movie

I am really looking forward to this film as well. Jeon Ji Hyun is one of my favorite Korean actresses and she was so great in Il Mare and Jung Woo Sung was very "man" in A Moment to Remember. I just hope it has a good ending.

So Lee Sung Jae plays the second male lead? I saw Art Museum by the Zoo last week and he was pretty good in it. Looking forward to this more and more.

Wow this will be a great movie. One of the top production teams in China/HK and the top stars from Korea. Best of all it stars Jeon Ji-hyeon..Hope its better than Windstruck.

Yes a JJH movie to see in 2006, I just loved all her movies. She is such a great actress and very attractive.

Daisy's release date in Korea is 23th feb. as for HK, Taiwan and China, its around march /april, and may in Japan.

This is a very stupid questin, but what language will the movie originally be in?

Korean, cos its a korean movie. The crew is mostly people from hk, partly korean and partly dutch. I actually was partly involved with the movie; cos my dad knew the director. I didnt see them filming though, but I was at their wrap party

I've been waiting 6 months for this movie. I heard it got rave reviews during the preview screening. Do you think they will have behind the screen documentary?

OMG OMG!!!! I this is yet ANOTHER movie that i can't to watch!!! It makes it more exciting when hehe the movie has the same name as me LOL when i saw the poster i was sooo excited hahaha i was like WOO HOO it's my name it's my name hahaha newayz i'd stop being stupid. Is this good? Has anyone seen this or knows a lot about this? I find it really funny that they've got a HK director and stuff, hope it all works out and it's good! ^^

Wow the mv and trailer look very good. The mv especially looks so sad. I hope it is a happy ending but with this type of movies, i am expecting a sad ending. can't wait to see it. three of my favorite actors in the same film!

wow, the trailer looks good. From the pictures, I wasn't really revved up to see this movie, but after watching the trailer, it looks so good. It seems like its gonna be sad and deep, ahah.
