do you guys still like country spirit? remember the story line???
i didnt watch it for a while but since its da holidays, i watched it again!
last time i watched it was bout 5 years ago! so i didnt get da story line but
after rewatching it, i loved it and understood it!
so, go country spirit... that was the best series charmaine did! her and
gordan did a great job... but unfortunately gordan left tvb but he is still
the same good actor to me... hope he returns to tvb!!!

i actually just watched it during my holidays... when it first came out i only watched about 5 episodes becasue i had no time back then, but i knew it was a great series already and becasue the first series was so awsome.. and i just watched it again recentley, the whole thing this time, and it was great!!!..

this series is not very frequently mentioned in many forums, so im glad that there's mention of it in here. however, it seems that it isn't very popular, considering the fact that there're only three posts.

anyway, i really like the determination that Charmaine displayed.

When I watched first time, skipped around
as series very long. Thought it looked
v pretty like Plain Love II.

first time I watch it, it's 3 years back and it's was good. charmaine and gordan acting is good. I also love the main/sub song in this serie. Sing by Jacky cheung and a female singer.

the ending make me abit confused.....

or did it meant that charmaine died & was in heaven, & then she saw gordon?

I think this series was good with Charmaine, but I think Maggie had more chemisty. In the tea movie, it was more clear of their love. I miss Gordan's series, he was soo good. Oh well, now we just get the series with serious kung fun animation.

I think the ending was left to you imagination as most tvb series, if it was me, Gordan came back after the war:)

hahah, i'd prefer it to be a erm, straight forward happy ending. hahah. i like happy endings. :D

this drama...is abit long...but guess wht...it is really nice...
this is the first drama that make my little brother want to to buy the whole series...
all my family enjoy watching it...

I think this serie was great, and I must say that charm was amazing here I like her strong character and the quote she always used it was soo dam good and she really lived up to it. she always made her best and won't lose to anything.

Before I re-watch this serie the only things that I remembered was how strong charm was, like when she was tied up on the pole in the spirits factory, when her mother in law bit her and she didn't drop a single tear ect. I just love those scene

I love this series But I thought Charmaine character was a bit annoying at first but she grown on me

Also, I'm totally in love with the theme.

I like this series because the story is good, and Gordan & Charmaine did a good job here. They have great chemistry in this series. It is too bad that Gordan Lam is not with TVB any more. He is a very good actor!

I was currently rewatching this series with Charmaine in it. I felt so sorry for her and how she married inot Gou family like that. But then Paul finally trusted her and gave her the rights of the house and the store. Go Charmaine in this series!!!

i LOVE this series =DDD its one of charmaine's best series. i liked gordan too. charmaine and gordan were had some really funny scenes. the ending ws kinda weird o.O i didnt no how he came back xD

Yes I remembered this series! It was quite upsetting that Charmaine was poor. I remember my mom was crying for this series!
I really liked the theme song!
