I'm guessing Episode 9 will be more sweet than heartbreaking.
Episode 10 will be the heartbreaking.

I assume episode 9 will be a really sweet episode for CX and XY!!!

Looks like CX is a bit decided about making XY happy and forgetting Anna. I think CX is fed up with Anna's false promises to him. And I think he will realize that he is falling in love with XY. Why will he kiss XY right??

CX and XY is definitely becoming a lovely couple.

I think Anna's return will be on the last part of Episode 9, which I think would be immaterial compared to the sweet scenes of CX and XY. I even think that she could not meet up with CX on the next episode. Haha!! I don't want to be frustrated with episode 9 because of Anna interfering CX and XY's relationship. Haha!!

The story should really show a closer relationship between CX and XY before the conflict with Anna happens. I think this is still lacking on the series. I am not so drawn into CX and XY as a couple yet. But they are already starting to build this up in the last part of episode 8 and hopefully on the majority of episode 9.

Really can't wait for next week!!!

i think the scene where cx was pushing anna in the shopping cart will take place in the end of this ep or next ep cuz the clothes that they were wearingg looks the same!!! omg..why does anna hav to come back so soon!!! right after the kiss too!!

Yes, I was really looking forward to that!!! That was one of my motivations for watching this drama in the first place I hope that I will still be able to see this!

Episode 9 is going to be interesting. Anna comes back to Taiwan and CX is falling hard for XY. I see a love triangle happening.

this episode is the best so far, episode 5 ranking 2nd (CX getting jealous of dylan shenfu)!

baron deserves the air time he is getting. he is not only handsome, but the character he portrays (dylan) is so lovable as well. he really feels that it is so unfair that such a girl like XY would be treated that way by CX. such considerate girl! i guess from now on we will be seeing more of him. i do like to see CX going nuts because of him. CX deserves it! he's been so bad towards XY.

but i think episode 9 will outdo episode 8. seeing from the previews, i think CX is slowly realizing XY's worth, though not certain if the kiss is because of love or pity or just a spur of the moment. well, we'll know next sunday.

anyways looks like my question in previous tread got its answer anna's back in ep. 9 already! aaaah why must she come back now. She got fired from a job and sustained a minimal injury so nothing to do with the no confidence clause we assumed she would have just that her boss doesn't want ''irresponsible dancers''. Well she's got one argument in her favour if CX ever yells at her she can reply she lost her job to be with him......
And someone mentioned CX pushing Anna in the cart: yeah my guess too is that this will happen in episode 10 or 11. Clothes are similar to those Anna is currently wearing.

I do feel sorry for Anna though. She wanted to celebrate CX's birthday and was unable to make the flight due to her accident. So now CX misunderstands and thinks he's been stood up again only this time Anna was truly making an effort. So Anna gets fired for trying to see her boyfriend and decides to return to Taiwan only to find that her boyfriend is already married and on the daddy-track. If I were her, I'd be pretty hurt and angry.

From the birthday flashbacks of CX and Anna, you can tell that they really had some good years together minus the whole I'm-ditching-you-for-my-career bit. I don't see Anna as a bad person.

I don't think anyone sees Anna as evil (so far lol....). Conceited yes, selfish yes.
If you guys remember when she first left and CX upset asked her if after all these times she stood him up what if he found comfort in another woman's arm and she just replied that he would never do that to her. It shows how overly confident and self-centred she is to believe that CX existence will continue to center around her while hers centers around her ballet career.

We will have to wait to see in the next episode if CX's shrine to Anna is still intact with no cracks in it. Thank god for that preview kiss. I think Episode 9 will be great to see CX actually caring about XY's Bday and not pretending to care in order to save face in front of Granny. Or the cooking in Jang Mu island. I think the writers are really trying to pack in as much sweet moments as possible before the climax begins.

i don't know why CX kissed XY in the preview, because it doesn't make sense sinceCX keep telling XY not to like him but another thought CX was probably so overwhelmed by the fact that Anna ditched him again that he sees XY as a new light and finally realized that XY has a heart of a gold. In the preview for episode 9 i find Anna being VERY SELFISH. i bet she only came back for CX because she was kicked out of the cast. If she had never fallen she wouldn't have come back for him.

ah. i cant watch the previews and episode 8 since i am in the office but the summary seems really sweet. haha. despite no dylan with it. i am really glad CX is finally doing something that pleases me. haha. if not, he can disappear on my favourite character list forever.

it seems to me anna is treating cx as a second option. geez, that is bad seriously. i tot she was really sweet coming back to celebrate cx's birthday but.. i guess she just want a balance in both areas. too bad, she wont be able too.

i dont agree at this point. the screentim he is getting is so damn little. he dont even appear every episode. but i do agree he is so lovable. cant wait to watch episode 8!!

i do agree that anna is selfish and too overly confident. there should be a balance in a relationship and it seems to me CX is always the one giving in. this kind of relationship cant last. although i think she doesnt deserve such punishment for being so selfish (afterall, dancing is her lifelong dream), but i guess she has to take up some responsibility for her actions.

I don't like the idea that Anna has to choose between either CX or ballet. If you worked really hard all your life and spent endless hours practicing ballet every day, then there's no reason to turn down a pinnacle career move just because of location. Should Anna be more considerate of CX? Of course she should but that doesn't mean she's being selfish for choosing to go to New York because if that is considered as being selfish then by that definition, anybody who has to travel and work long hours is being selfish towards their significant other. Love is important but it is not the only thing that deserves consideration in the real world.

As for Xin Yi, is anyone else getting annoyed by how nice and self-sacrificing she is? I like nice heroines (as opposed to the heavily promoted bratty ones that are en vogue these days) but being *too* nice can seem very fake and eye-roll inducing. Even though Xin Yi is quite pitiful, she keeps reminding CX that she's a pitiful person by saying over and over how no one remembered or celebrated her birthday with her (then why did she say that on her birthday her coworkers would go to KTV w/ her but not give her the mike?). And from her narration, one would believe that XY's mother is completely cold to her daughter but we see evidence to the contrary. It just seems like XY knows that she's very ke3 lian2 and exacerbates the situation by continuing to believe and live in her martyrdom.

i agree with you that anna is not selfish for having an ambition. the story is emphasizing though that ballet is more important to her than CX.

i've seen more martyr characters in my whole life, living and growing up in the phils. believe me when i say that XY is not martyr enough compared to them. my take is that she is just a considerate person, simply plain and nice.

XY's mother cares for XY, it just that the story shows that she cares more for her two sisters than her, that is, until she discovered this one-night thing.




in terms of air time i would agree with you. but in terms of the quality of the scenes he appears in, all seems so cool and relevant. his character really touches my heart.

Oh gosh, I really can't wait to see episode 9! It's going to be REALLY sweet!





I wonder how Anna's return will change things. Because it's so sudden for both CX and XY and all. Who knows how CX will react to it? In the preview it seems that CX already began to fall for XY, and if Anna suddenly appears.... :S. Well, I'm mostly looking forward to the sweet moments!

I totally agree with you. I don't get why everyone is saying Anna's selfish. She just wants to have a career and a love life (kinda like everyone...) and the fact is that she loves CX and probably believes that since she would never cheat on him, he wouldn't on her either.

XY's niceness is a tad bit annoying (the whole pretending the pen's from Anna thing), but I'm glad she had a brave face on when CX ditched her. I think that shows that she's got courage, just not in the normal way people tend to be brave. I also agree that XY is making her self more pitiful than neccesary. If she's a bit more positive, maybe she'll stop being a "sticky note".

I love Dylan. I hope he gets more screen time (why can't he end up with XY ^^)

I don't think that XY ever thinks that she is a marty. She is someone who simply longs to love and be loved. And when did she remind CX over and over again that nobody remember her birthday? They simply discovered that they share the same birthday and are talking about how they spend their past birthdays. She lack confident yeah, but I don't think she tries to put herself up as pitiful. When CX ditches her on her birthday, she didn't cling onto him and reminds him of how pitiful she is did she? She tries to put on a brave front and let him go.

As for her mom, it's quite obvious that she did not know how to show her care for her daughter, even though she did love her in her own way. With the father gone and she busy making a living, I doubt she have much time for her daughters.

I don't have a problem with Anna wanting a career. It is the way she seems to treat her boyfriend in the process of going all out for this career. She'll leave him waiting secure in the knowledge that he will still be waiting for her. Like when she chose to go to the airport in the first episode - did she even call him to let him know she wouldn't be coming before she got on the plane? Then from things that are said this wasn't the first time she had just left him without telling him where she was going. That is why I think she is being selfish.

I wonder if we get to see the major transformation with Cunxi. I can't remember if they wrote it in the synopsis of the drama or the novel. I think I read that Cunxi started coming home for dinner, he also ended up sleeping next to Xinyi and getting used to it. - We haven't seen that yet, and if Anna is already on her way back then... Well, in a way I understand why Cunxi would choose Anna if he only spent so little time with Xinyi. I don't feel as if they have had the chance to truly fall in love with each other, at least Cunxi haven't.

Choosing XY over Anna in the end, i think maybe it's because he has been dumped by Anna too many times. Especially the 12th time and XY was there for him at the last two times.
(He doesn't know that Anna got injured yet)

I don't think she will see the kiss. Cuz of the NG scenes towards the back. There was one scene of Anna and Anson and it seemed like she didn't know anything yet.

I wonder what the scriptwriter is planning for the future.
So far, Anna is not the mean/evil 2nd female lead that we always see.
And XY instead is the clear third party(although accidental)
It's not the normal the male lead didn't really like the 2nd girl in the first place kindof thing.
Hopefully they will pull off CX choosing XY over Anna without having either Anna or XY being hated by the audience haha

I agree with those that say Anna isn't selfish. She's a girl with ambition and willing to chase after them. Giving up her ambition for the sake of love shouldn't be needed.
But when she chose her ambition over love, she has chosen to put her love with CX at risk too, open to the possibility of CX falling for someone else instead during her absence.
It doesn't help that she has so many cases of dumping CX.

I'm really looking forward for next episode, it will be so sweet and sad too (hopefully epi 10 is the sad one)

putting on a brave front was such a milestone for qiao en as an actress. i love the way she acted it out.

as for what you said about the mom, i agree with that also! the actress who portrays her mom is so funny. i even find her more funny than granny! i wonder if CX and XY will visit them in ep 9.









if you think about it, yeah, XY is the clear 3rd party but somehow i sympathize with her character more than anna. logically speaking, CX and XY are at fault it, though to borrow your term, it was "accidental", and definitely not intentional. well, jia you bian li tie!

and the good thing about this drama is that there is no "sinister" and "scheming" 2nd leads, like zheng ren. for all the 4 leads, you somehow feel that they are just reacting the way normal people would do, which is really nice.

that's true. you know it's really true what people say, you cannot have both at the same time (love and career. you either lose one.




the kiss from the preview was just a smack! hope XY would kiss back! i'm hoping for a more romantic kissing scene.

I don't think there is such a thing like that stated in the contract.

It is more of when XY gives birth to the child, she will leave and the baby will be taken cared of CX and Anna.

So I think CX plans to eventually tell Anna what happened between him and XY, and treat XY's baby as their own child. Will Anna accept this kind of situation??
