Synopsis
Bowl (Kenny Kwan) and Noodle (Steven Cheung) are two idle highschool students who need to evade three menaces each day before they can enter their school.
There is little bully Razor (Cheung Tat Ming) who chases them over a minor dispute, the uniformed policeman David (Tats Lau Yee Tat) who body-searches everyone he sees, and the small-time gangster Ganker (Chan Wai Man) who is looking for new blood to join his ever shrinking business.

Pride and dignity seem so out of reach. Bowl does not even know how to sound convincing when he tries to persuade his sister Candy (Katie Kwok) from walking down the wrong path. If only they can find the guiding light to fame and fortune, then life will be fine again.

Some dreams do come true. Trying to stay ahead of Razor, Bowl and Noodle join Ganker and end up at a gangster conference where the Boss (Ray Lui) gives them HK$300,000 to perform a Mission of Glory at 6 am the next morning.
It is a lot of money and a way to fame, but a deadly mission awaits them. With ten hours left to go, there is money to spend, families to visit, idols (special appearances by Twins) to meet and unspoken love to be voiced. Before daybreak, can Bowl and Noodle turn a nightmare into a self-fulfilling experience?

I watched scenes of this movie off of the Boy'z partners mv! I loved it! I wanna see it so badly!! Eeeek! Can't wait till it comes out!!

The theme song of this movie is pretty good, the MV showed their kissing scene with each other. It was funny! There was this interview and Boy'z were saying that after they were done that scene, someone said to Kenny that it was good acting of looking reluctant and trying to get away from Steven who's kissing him and Kenny responded by saying it isn't acting, it was for real! LOL! By the way, Twins looked pretty in their ancient costume, there was one little clip of it, Steven was dreamily looking at Gillian and leaning to kiss her, but then Gillian's like, "You don't kiss me, you kiss him." and pointed at Kenny, haha!

BAD NEWS FOR BOY'Z!

6AM hasnt been doing very well in hong kong. In fact, it has only generated HK$2.09 million in ticket sales since it was released. As of December 13, 6AM ranked at the bottom of the top ten.

i watched it today and it wasnt that good =[
it started off really boring.. nearly fell asleep =| the plot wasnt strong..
i only thought it got more interesting half way through. also twins was only in one scene.. :blink:

thought they had a bigger role in the movie than that..

A bore of a movie, the only redeeming thing of it was the cameo by Tats Lau. Just another popstar vehicle to promote EEGs Boyz.

Lols. I just recently bought this movie. It is really good in my opinion. Some scenes are sad, which made me cry, but otherwise, the movie is pretty funny. I love the last scene, where it showed Gillian and Steven. Lols.

I watched this a few days ago. No offense but it was terrible. I think it's gonna disappoint a number of people. The two main male characters seemed to be clowning around, not very impressive. Plot was okaish, some funny parts. Twins were around for a short time. Not recommended film to watch though.

the movie wasnt really what i expected buh they spent alot of time in it and thats what counts to me and i`ll support boy'z forever even though they are spilting.. kenny was so cute there even though he was wearing glasses ;];

Because this was a Boy'z movie, I watched it, but the storyline like anyother HK movie was boring and lacked a real plot. Bunch of nonsense, but if you are a Boy'z fans then go watch it...it wasn't that bad considering that I got to watch them two act silly and cute, but if the main characters weren't them, I wouldn't even go watch it if you were to pay me.

The theme song i think for this movie is GREAT!! :worship

the mv might not have been since it a bunch of scenes from movie...actually i think almost all hk mv's are bad. I mean the singers in Taiwanese/Japanese/Korean are all DANCING in their MV, whereas the HK ones just stand there or walk around ><

thankgod i never got this from the VCD store. i borrowed it off a friend who had just come back from HK. This movie was a total peice of crap, there is barely any storyline, the plot isn't apparent, and the movie barely makes sense.

i thought this movie was cute, but probably only because kenny and steven are in it

the plot itself wasn't that great and there were many scenes that were really awkward, but still, a decent attempt for boy'z's first movie (and myabe last) where they star

twins' role was kinda dumb and unnecessary but whatever works for them (or makes more people watch the movie) :lol:

and the boss of the gang was weird, but it was funny when they said his song was coming up and it turns out it was only the birthday song

and it was really sweet what kenny did for steven's sister

overall it wasnt a great movie but it did have its moments.. I loved the kenny steven kissing part.. lol hilarious.. And i liked the theme song and also that one song (sung by kenny) thats played after kenny tells stevens sister he likes her and the little pieces of paper fell from the tree..

This film was lousy...I didnt really quite understand it. But then again I can't really understand the point of many HK movies lately. The film had a very nice title in chinese though. Dai mo wai (fits the film...mo wai tai la)..

yeah, i agree. this movie is extremely bad and pointless. there wasn't anything interesting at all. too bad boyz don't hav any good roles in movie field. i thought twins are the main characters too, but they only out for a few scenes

hey it wasn't bad for me haha
pretty enjoyable movie with some really funny parts
the part with the zipper and gun was hilarious

its not a perfect movie tho...some awkward parts with the drama...if it stuck to being a total comedy it woulda worked better...

other than that the story was fitting for a comedy, stupid but not totally outrageous
good movie, id give it 3 outta 4 rating

The name "dai mou wei" really suit the movie, it's really "dai mou wei". Boring and I don't get the meaning of the movie and the storyline. It has some funny scene though, like when Steven and Kenny kiss. And Kenny is very cute in this movie.

I give this movie 1 thumbs of 5
