It is given that in every group, there is always one member that stands out. The company tries hard to maximize that member's fans' interests. The most widely used method is to catch attention using visuals on stage. There isn't a big difference with the other members, but they add a special point that matches the theme.

The biggest representative is 'SNSD' Yuri, who is the only one with dark hair.

The reason for this is because out of all the members, they chose a style that stood out. They did not purposely try to stand out, but because they were looking for the style that suited them best, the result was that they unknowingly stood out. Or, they put what they were getting attention for in their minds, and chose more fancy and unique clothes. We have looked into the latest girl groups and their member that stood out and their way of showing off their uniqueness.

Out of all the latest girl groups, SNSD is the only group that dresses uniformly. The only thing that could make a member stand out is the hairstyle. SNSD members changed their hair colors to bright colors as they released their most recent album. But, Yuri was the only one to maintain a dark brown hair color. Because of this, she naturally stands out the most out of all the members.

SNSD's company had no intention of "specially making her stand out. Yuri's skin color is on the darkish side, so dark hair colors suit her best." They didn't do it intentionally, but as they were searching for the style that suit Yuri the best, they unknowingly made her stand out. Because of her dark hair color, Yuri gives off a sophisticated women's scent instead of the usual youthful feeling that the other members hold.

im glad its yuri but why is it the yoona always appear in the middle during pictures, photoshoots, album cover, dance positions?

Yeah, I agree too, but I think Sooyoung unusually stands out too during the genie promotions, simply due to her height and short hair^^

i guess the reason why yoona always in the middle is because her popularity slightly higher than others...it's undeniable....and also she's not too tall between the four tallest girl...

maybe sm had made them a standing position just like DBSK & SHINeee...they always stand on the same position

yeah i have observed that too. if i can decide for them, i would choose Taeyeon unni to be in the middle all the time



i think this posted article talks about SNSD only because as you can see, the translator is from soshified. so i guess he or she just translated the SNSD parts and did not include the other girl groups. but i feel that in the original article written in korean, the other groups were also mentioned ;)

I like how SNSD dresses uniformly that way at least no one would be more favor than the others, well not on purpose anyways.

The translation failed to mention other girl groups but SNSD, thus all comments are SNSD directed.

I don't like how they have all their hair color dyed into lighter colors..i perfer dark hair colors..

i'm guessing the reason why yoona is always in the middle maybe because she's the pretty one in the group..because SM has a habit of putting the pretty/handsome looking artists..like in Super Junior Hankyung and Siwon are usually somewhere in the middle..and they are the most handsome ones in Super Junior...

The title makes u think that they will talk about other girls, yet it's all SNSD.
Anyways, i thought Yoona stands out more (even though Jessica is my fav),she's always at the center.
I like CL the most of 2ne1, and I only know Hyuna of 4minutes

whoa... i think Yuri is really pretty while Yoona is always at the center..hehe... but i really like Taeyoons singing abilities as well as Jessica...hehehe

this is the second article i read with misleading title. this should be about snsd only. that sucks. although there's a pic, i would love to have read things about 2ne1 and other girl groups too.

jessica's hair actually stood out the most to me, and yuri was the least that stood out..to me at least

hmm.. for me, i like Seohyun from SNSD and BOM from 2ne1.. they're the ones that stands out for me

yuri always have a more mature women feel to her. the hair style in the new promotion have increased that..

i like yoona but ive never seen her as the prettiest in snsd.
its probably because she is the first member in snsd thats why she is always in the center, not sure though.

Really I think it's all due to what a person likes. If there is a girl that meets their liking then they would obviously notice them first.

In this case though I think that, Yoona, Sooyoung, Yuri and Tiffany are most liked. They stand out more to the fans too.

for me in all girl groups its:

After School- Sooyoung
4minute- Ji Hyun and Ji Yoon
SNSD- Heohyun
WG- Yoobin
2NE1- CL and Minji

yeah me too.
but when it comes to polls, Taeyeon is always #1.
and also in the number of members in their fan cafes, Taeyeon has the most number of registered fans.
