Alex Fong and Karen Mok attended the press conference of the 90th annivesary of girl scouts yesterday. Towards Gillian Chung having photos of her changing taken, Alex expressed, "I think it's way overboard and against morality. Peeping is illegal, so if the Hong Kong Performing Artistes Guild has any actions planned in regards to this, I will be there to support it. It's really saddening to see Gillian cry like this. I have consoled her already. (Are Gillian's emotions any better?) She's okay now. I've just done my part in caring for a friend." Gillian's emotions were so agitated that she started crying, does Alex feel a heartbreak? "Let's not talk about that right now. This is a miserable case, and it's an awful experience for Gillian. I'm very angry at this as well. It's way overboard!"

Has Alex had this happened to him before? "It's easier for guys to handle, unlike how it is for girls. (Have you told Gillian to be more careful?) I've said what I needed to say to her." Alex frankly stated that he's looked over that tabloid, "I'm not trying to be nosy, but I just want to know how bad the situation is for my friend. I understand what she's worrying about. None of us know what else they have on their hands, and what if they post it online? I hope she'll be alright!" Being a member of the Hong Kong Performing Artistes Guild, Alex hopes the group and Gillian's friends will take action to oppose this peeping action; he, of course, will also support it.

Also, Karen Mok is having a concert next month on the 2nd. Seeing Gillian's situation, Karen states that she is worried as well, but she believes that the security will be strong and the check up will be done properly. Gillian has done the same yet she still got photos taken? Karen expressed that they can't do anything about it. Whenever they have concerts or live in a hotel, there's bound to be times that they need to change. Even if the lights are turned off, if they plotted against you, then they'll still get the photos, so she is scared of being a victim. She said that the only thing you can do is put tape anywhere you can. She remembers that there was a time that a photographer actually rushed backstage while she was changing, but fortunately he was stopped; Karen does believe that the photographer didn't mean it. In conclusion to Gillian's case, Karen feels that the fault lies with the tabloid and the person who took the photos. If there are any actions taken by the ET industry, she'll be sure to particpate and support it because it's for the sake of all artistes.

This is totally disgusting. Hk's media will do anything for quick money. It happened few years back with Carina Lau, and now with Gillian. The people involved should be arrested and charged. The magazine company should also be investigated.

i mean i really make life more difficult for artists, they doing their best for the concert, quick changing for next song etc and worrying about photo taken...sigh

That is so illegal.. what have some peole come to?? Doing that sort of stuff is pretty horrible, and somewhat worse for girls, like Alex said. However, i am glad to see Alex caring for her.

the magazine should be investigated, i mean just because someone comes up with these photos and asks them to buy them, they should call the police, i mean its morally wrong.... just for a few more magazine sales

if people didn't buy these kind of magazines then they wouldn't do it. its easy to blame the paperazzi or the publishers but they are just catering to a demand.

there are newspapers i hate here in the UK because of the horrible stuff they print but unfortunately many people buy them and they continue to produce filth that even has caused people's deaths. its a sad world.
