While Andy Lau attended a promotion event a reporter discovered that he had severe hair loss. When the reporter asked him about whether he was afraid of getting bald Andy nervously said "Don't be so exaggerated! My hair compared to before is much thicker." When he was responding he was constantly touching the back of his head.

It is said that while Andy Lau was filming the movie "Protege", he had to dye his hair silver. But due to the hair dye fading color Andy needed to redye his hair every 3 days. Which means that he would be dying his hair over 10 times a month. This would cause his hair to become seriously damaged and thinner. Afterwards Andy couldn't take it anymore and his hairdresser had to try different remedies to avoid having severe hair loss. Therefore he would use a hair growth product every day.

what do you expect from a man who's almost 50. im not saying everybody around age 50 is losing their hair, but common, you dont have the hair that you had when ur 20-25.

let nature takes its course.

i guarantee he's not gonna bleach his hair like he did in 1999.

ANDY... if you're reading this or any of your assistants..

THIS IS WHAT YOU DO... find a GERMAN HAIR TONIC( Germans make the best) which is made of herbs.. lovely smell... massage the hair follicles with this--don't use too much. cover head with one of plastic things leave it for 20 mins/30 mins.. you'll see-- the oil have soaked throught hair,too

shampoo. do once a week. do this every week.. for few mos.. then later, every 2 for maintenance.

hair dying weakens the hair shaft & makes it dry-- hence the hair loss.

there's this brand Dr hanushka.. ? around $35 a bottle US.. last ages

another g ood one is L'Oreal's Kerestase range-- they have a hair masque.. for hair treatment-- best ones are German & French made. make sure it's herbal!

whatever prince lau decides to do, i hope he doesn't go the way of adam cheng (though adam's strategy works for him.) i don't want to hear those toupee jokes from the back row when he's romancing the latest starlets :harhar
