TVB Fa Dan's have been entering the movie industry. Since Kate Tsui had become the new movie star favourite, Bernice Liu had also been selected to play a role in a Hollywood movie. She will also be working with Maggie Q and playing female fighters. She will be the first TVB Fa Dan to break into Hollywood.

Working in Hollywood is still an actors's dream, during the past many chinese actors have had successful career in Hollywood such as Chow Yun Fat, Jackie Chan, Michelle Yeoh, Zhang Ziyi, Maggie Cheung Man Yuk etc. This year Isabella Leong and Gillian Chung have experienced working in Hollywood. Recently TVB have arranged Bernice to break into Hollywood by accepting the movie (The King of Fighters).

Bernice who has always hoped to play a female fighter role, will play this role in the new movie with Maggie Q. Sources say that Chris Evans who starred in (Fantastic Four) will also appear in the movie. The filming started yesterday and was delayed for 2 months. This made Bernice's work schedule quite awkward but she didn't want to lose this opportunity and declined commercial work. Despite being a hot favourite to receive alot of work offers for the golden period of Christmas and the New year, she declined the work and earnings. It's predicted that she had lost out on 7 digits and you can see how determined she is to play the role in the new movie.

TVB Executive Virginia Lok is very supportive of Bernice entering Hollywood. She smiled "We have been discussing about this movie for half a year, When Bernice knew it was a fighting role she worked very hard to learn martial arts from the stunt men. She also flew to the location earlier before the rest of the cast in order to get used to the atmosphere. A few days ago she sent us a update and praised the crew for being very professional. She never mentioned one word of it being hard work". (Are the earnings good?) "Reasonable, lets just say this is an opportunity, the earnings isn't a problem, Our company are very supportive".

ooo I can't wait...I think this is great news. As TVB isn't giving Bernice a lot of opportunities...glad to see her in a Hollywood movie

Actually, Bernice was born and raised in Canada, not the States. Also, she speaks English very fluently because it is the primary language spoken in her hometown.

After seeing her in Steps, I'vent noticed her appearance in much else, but I heard that she had a really busy schedule a while back. My favorite series of hers is actually Into Thin Air ... where she also sang the theme song which was amazing.
