Hihi everyone !! What is an " AF Guy + Girl Duets Album " you might ask ? Well its an idea I came up with today . I was thinking we should make an 'album' in AF where all of us 'singers' are in it^^. How are we going to do that? Its pretty simple, first we pair up with a partner and then sing a duet^^. To make this more special, I thought we should do duets that has a girl and a guy's part =]. Basically we are just putting our duets in an album. So what do you guys say =]? Should we give it a shot ?

Not Enough Songs? / Want To Join But The Sign-Up Sheet Is Full?
- If this happens and you still really want to sing a specific song on the list. You can try ask nicely to the person who got the part and see if he/she will give you the part. If he/she refuses then you can always join the next one .

* Note to people who got more than 1 duet/part *
- Since I'm not sure do we have that much people in AF Recording Studio to fill up the list. I'll let people sign up for more than one part/duet. But if you got like 2 or 3 parts and another person wants it(and that person don't have a part at all). It would be really nice if you can give that part to her/him^^. Its not require or anything. Just a suggestion .


Submitting Your Duet(s) Early
Finished a duet with your partner early? Why not turn it in early too^^? If we get all the duets before the deadline then this album can be 'release' soon . You can submit it to me by PM but be sure the title of the PM has either " AF Guy + Girl Duets [Canto] " or " [song name] + [your partner & your name] ". So I won't get confuse what the PM is .


- A Separate Song For All The Girls And For Guys Too? -
- Should all the girls do a song together and the guys do the same? But since we have the AF Medley. Maybe we can do other songs? For example maybe for the guys, we can do " Don't Blame Her " since I saw a lot of guys sang that song in here^^. It might sound weird but we can split the lyrics and collab. it.


Annoucement: Okay we all decided that we are going to make 3 albums for this . This one will be the Cantonese album, dreamstar will be making the Mandarin album^^ and hippokathy88 for the English album .

Also now if there is a song on the list that is taken and you still want to sing it badly. You can do that if you can find a partner to sing it with you^^. Meaning we can have two versions of a duet. But only if you can find someone to sing with you .

the only thing i'll suggest is to add mando + english song too not only canto =) cos i know some great singer here that cannot sing canto.. or cannot sing canto and mando.. so a mix of all of them should solve the problem

well for mando songs we have 让我爱你 by Vic Zhou and Barbie Hsu and then there's 我不够爱你 by Andy Lau and Kelly Chan

oh and can we add 現代愛情故事 by Julian Cheung and Maple Hui? if we do add that i want to sing that one instead haha

Burn all the songs on a CD? Nice idea^^. I guess we can do that if some of us wants to and keep it as a memory of AF Recording studio . But we don't have to or anything. Its optional .

Hehe thanks . Oooo the Seven Sisters theme song? I didn't hear it for such a long time. I even forgot how it starts. lol. As for the parts of the songs(who sings who), I haven't started a sign-up sheet because I'm not sure are we really going to do this or not .

theres not enough in english yet.. but it'll be easy to research i guess? =)

would be even better if we have 3 people in charge.. each is in charge of each language.. that will be heaps easier..

Good idea too^^. Maybe we should do that. But it will depend on the songs and everybody else, like will we have enough for the English Album, etc.? Also I'm not sure will the sign-up sheet be full or not. If it doesn't, we can take out some songs and add some Mandarin + English songs. But then again.. Haha do you want to be in charge of the English/Mandarin one x]? I like the idea of 3 people in charge of those 3 albums^^. It will be a lot easier for me too :. lol.

i wouldnt mind taking over the mandarin one =) theres not much duets that I know of in english.. for mando.. i know quite a lot.. so yeahs =) i think you have a lot of canto songs to be in one cd =)

Um, i can tell you one thing, heaps of these duets are done already in RS, and some of them are superb quality. I think right now the supply of singers we have, we don't even need to have all those songs in the album, perhaps we can just do the songs on it that are taken. My opinion is we put all the languages up on a list, and give a deadline, and those songs whose roles are all filled at that deadline will be in the album.

so, is it possible if i pick those two? (both aren't on the list)
but i'm not sure if they'll be in the album actually...
