Daniel Wu Replaces Ekin Cheng as Spokesperson for Watch Company

Daniel Wu has recently replaced Ekin Cheng as the image person for a men's watch range and has filmed the Asian region advertisements for 'Me'. The photo shoot was held earlier at a villa.

When arriving at the venue, Daniel felt that the building was very familiar. Daniel, who studied architecture in USA, had a job at an interior design company when he first came to Hong Kong. The villa that they were shooting at was quite similar to designs his former employer had done. After asking around, Daniel realised that the villa had indeed been designed and owned by his former employer. Daniel commented, "My sister's apartment was also designed by him. I will call him up and say hi. I am very happy!"

It has been reported that Daniel was chosen for this job because of his professional attitude and his international fame. The advertisement will be released in Hong Kong and other big Asian cities this month.

Its been a while that Daniel been a spokeperson but pity it has to replace Ekin, I prefer Daniel of course.

wow Daniel would have been an amazing architect! He has such an eye..... But I am glad he got into the entertainment industry so we are allowed to see his acting and modelling!

Which watch company is this? I never heard of 'Me' watches. But there is a 'Me' magazine. Is it that he did the photoshoots for 'Me' magazine? The only watch company that I know Ekin is the image person for is Seiko. If it is, then I think it's sad that he's being replaced since he's been the image person for that company for so long.

I think both of them have different kind of charm. Daniel is very hot and the watch company really made use of that, judging from that picture. While Ekin is very gentle and subtle, which the watch company also use to their advantage, just look at the pictures that featured Ekin. This watch company really knows how to capitalise on a artiste's image. I guess they wanted a newer image for their watch and Ekin no longer have free watches for himself and Yoyo.

Well, I'm glad they picked Daniel because he has a higher profile (at least internationally) than Ekin. Plus he appeals to younger audience??

Why Daniel replace? i am very confuse. i love both of Daniel and Ekin. but i love Ekin more!
