[27/01/08] Director Chou loses his voice during ticket sales/Genius against alien dog
Source: Liberty Times Translation: hobielover (www.jay-chou.net) Why would “Director Chou” (Jay Chou) be running from an “alien dog”? That is because he discovered that the dog from “CJ7” is his main opponent! Chen Chuhe suggested that the cute alien dog for helped in the ticket sales. Jay Chou participated in the premier of “Kung Fu Dunk” yesterday. Hundreds of fans came for the premier to see Jay and his co-stars of the movie. Actor Chen Chuhe said that the alien dog from “CJ7” was too cute, and that must have helped the box office sales. Jay Chou admitted that the alien dog was “kawaii” (very cute), but he believed that the fans came to see “Kung Fu Dunk” because the movie is exciting. Teenage boys will want to improve their basketball skills after watching the movie. Jay Chou suffering from bronchitis Director Chou was battling with bad health from last Christmas well into the start of the new year and he hasn’t been able to conceal his illness well. Director Chou has a serious cough. It appears that he has contracted bronchitis, and speaks very quietly. Will is cause a problem for his World Tour? To which, Director Chou jokingly said, “I’ll let Wilson Chen do it all for me.” http://www.libertytimes.com.tw/2008/new/ja.../images/113.jpg Director Chou (second from left) goes through a spell of sickness, while attending the premier of "Kung Fu Dunk", together with Liu Jinghong (from left), Wilson Chen, and Chen Chuhe. http://www.libertytimes.com.tw/2008/new/ja.../images/114.jpg Jay Chou admited the alien dog from “CJ7” is very cute and that the ticket office really stands out. http://www.libertytimes.com.tw/2008/new/ja.../images/115.jpg Director Chou autographs the photo book for the movie. __________________________________________________ ________________________ I found the news article here: http://www.libertytimes.com.tw/2008/...oday-show1.htm Poor guy! He's had the cold for a while, so it's grown into something worse. The rest of the article is mostly about "Kung Fu Dunk" and how "diao" Jay says it is. credits to http://www.jay-chou.net This post has been edited by cinseto: Jan 29 2008 5 02 PM |

Wow, didn't know that he's a director now too! Yes, he directed a movie called "Secret". The story is mainly about two music high school students who fall in love with each other. It's a very nice movie. It has a nice storyline and the artwork is great. To be honest, I am quite surprised that Jay Chou could produce such a great movie (especially since this was his first time in directing a movie). It's not that I'm undermining or not trusting Mr. Chou's skills in directing a movie or anything, but it's just that when you think of Jay Chou, you automatically think of him as a musician and not as a film-maker. Well, I must say that he'd done a really great job in this movie. Good job Mr. Chou, keep up the good work! PS: I also heard that he directed music videos. |
