Big Bang GDragon’s solo album ‘Heartbreaker’ has been ruled as inappropriate for youths.

Health and Family Welfare association under the Youth Protection Committee has revealed on 3rd November that GDragon’s first solo album ‘Heartbreak’ is inappropriate for youth. And in particular the 2 problematic songs from the album are ‘She’s Gone’ and ‘Korean Dream’.

According to an official, both the songs ‘She’s Gone’ and ‘Korean Dream’ contain profanity in their lyrics, hence deemed as unhealthy media. Also the song ‘Hooligan’ from Supreme Team’s minialbum ‘Supreme Team Guide to excellent adventure’ is also deemed as unhealthy media.

With that, the albums will have the sticker ‘Only for those above 19′ pasted on the CDs, and the songs will be banned from broadcast from 10th November.

Earlier G-Dragon, leader of Big Bang, had two of his songs, from his first solo album, declared as ‘harmful to the youth’ by the Youth Protection Council.

To this YG Officials stated, “We should respect the decision made by the Committee of Protection for the Youth,” but “we will not modify or correct any of the lyrics.” that was their position on the matter.

According to the Youth Protection Council, they recently examined the two songs, “She’s Gone” and “Korean Dream” from G-Dragon’s recent solo album “Heartbreaker” and came to the decision that they are harmful to the youth.

YG clearly stated, “Those songs are the song itself as it is, there will be no changes, so no modifications will be made to the lyrics of the songs.” he reiterated.

At least YG said they won't be changing the lyrics.

LMFAOO, THAT'S SO b*llsh*t XD

ONLY FOR THOSE ABOVE 19?! lmfao, here, the most albums get is a parental warning thing.

just because of a couple swear words? i wonder how western artist cds sell then... they'd be like ONLY FOR THOSE ABOVE 2476802476802 <.< LOL

This is so stupid... So the songs have a swear word or two in them BIG FRICKIN DEAL!
Most teenagers swear anyway and if the parents have a problem with it DON'T LET YOUR KIDS LISTEN TO THE ALBUM!

this is the weird about korean banning system
after the album has been sold to almost all
and after basically almost everyone bought the album
then the banning will come
it wont be effective that way
lol
nonsense

GD and artists should be able to express freely in their songs

Looks like korea is pretty uptight about what the youth learns. Only we don't know whether what they're doing is really effective. Anyway, what's wrong with heartbreaker?

Not the song Heartbreaker, it's ‘She’s Gone’ and ‘Korean Dream’. Wonder what's harmful in both songs coz when i read the english translation, i couldn't see anything wrong. Well anyway, YG's respecting the committee's decision but changing the lyrics? That's crazy. GD's album has been sold already.

what the heck? comparing his lyrics to american song lyrics, it's nothing. maybe little kids really shouldn't listen to it... but putting a 19+ sticker on it is a bit too much.
