Gillian Chung Secretly Training to make a comeback; spotted looking slim and hardly eating

Since the sex scandal Gillian Chung has rarely been seen in public. It turns out that she had been preparing to make an comeback and had been secretly practising dance routines, learning martial arts and English. A reporter spotted her presence in a dance studio yesterday and she had been practising a dance routine for over 9 hours. Gillian seemed to have lost a lot of weight and looked pretty.

It ‘s almost 4 months since the scandal happened. Last month Gillian was spotted in Hong Kong Central with her friend nicknamed (Aunt) in a furniture store. However Charlene Choi had been appearing at Twin’s functions alone. Gossip newspapers used this to target Gillian by saying she was lazy and slacking work. But Gillian has proved them all wrong as she was spotted secretly training very hard to relaunch her career.

There is a trend for dancing and it’s not entirely sure whether Gillian will use “Dancing” to make a comeback. Yesterday she appeared without any make-up and had been at the dance studio rehearsing from 10am to 7pm. She hardly ate during that time and was only seen eating some bread.

During rehearsing she was very serious and looked very confident, occasionally giving a smile. She also sweated a lot and ended up putting her long hair in a bun. She did appear to have lost weight around her face from her last public appearance. Gillian went straight home after training.

Gillian’s management Mani responds to the media. She says that Gillian’s current lifestyle is going to bed early and waking up early, very organized and well. Mani also explained Gillian’s training schedule “Gillian trains her dancing every week for 5 days. She is currently learning 3 types of dance and during the evening she practises singing. She also takes 2 English lessons every week as a foreign English tutor will visit her house for 2 hours. Not only that, Gillian also has 2 days of Martial Art training”.

Mani declares that she had never mentioned of Gillian leaving the industry and that Gillian had always been in Hong Kong secretly training hard. Since reporters have spotted the whereabouts of Gillian’s dance studio, Mani doesn’t hesitate to send Gillian to a different location. Mani emphasizes with the media of caring for Gillian’s recent news but she is worried that the details released about Gillian’s whereabouts will cause the paparazzi to go after her. This will affect Gillian deeply and she will be unable to continue training hard.

Finally the reporter asked why Gillian had become so slim? Mani replies “ Let's just say she is very positive and training extremely hard for a comeback. I hope everyone will encourage and support her, while giving her space".

Hopefully she'll be back soon! and as for Edison, I hope he gets banished to hell!

It will be hard for her to come back, ya? Although i do wish her all the best for her career but scandals like these are hard to erase, especially in a chinese society.

Finally some news on ah Gill. I really miss her!! But I'm super glad she's doing well. Its good that she's getting some training done. Ah Gill has always been very hardworking.

It's a good thing that she is taking things positively. But I personally think it will be quite difficult for her to make a 'successful' comeback.

i do not think that gillian can make it back into the industry anymore... remember once when she appear on tv for a charity show, she was complained by the viewers

if she makes a splash in hollywood, it'll be easier for her to come back. overseas success always gives you that extra glow of achievement in chinese context.

Gillian is being a bit unfair...I like how Cecilia didn't just run away and left her partner in the limelight with papz following him where ever he went. With Charlene's support Gillian should have just faced the papz instead of being all secretive. Poor Charlene has to cop all the unwanted attention from Gillian's scandal. *sigh* Anyway, maybe Gil will return with a whole different image??? Maybe as the sexier Twin? Who knows...

Gillian did try to "cope" with the papz...it just didnt work
and she didn't run away, she tried
but she got discriminated
so i think it's better for her to wait and train harder
and wait for the scandal to seize

It's great to hear that Gillian is doing well right now. It sounds like Gillian is working very hard to make a big comeback; keep up the great work. I really hope that Gillian will come back soon with a new fresh and confident Gillian. We'll support you.

After the scandal, it's even more hard for her to take a break since shehas to build up Twins' reputation again. Yet Gillian gets to secretly train just so when she does come back, she can show how much she improved so people won't criticize her. That's a bit unfair don't you think?

Well, I don't think it's fair to still criticize Gillian for wanting to hideaway since people don't want to see her. Remember she still participated in some TVB event after the scandal, but there were complaints against her. So I think she has no choice but to hide first and then train to give a better performance. As for Charlene being so busy, it's a good thing because it means that she is popular that so many people want her to be in their films. I rather she focus on her acting first instead of cramming dance training in which will make her even more tired. Probably when Gillian returns and everything is stabled, Charlene can go for dance training.

Gillian should work to be the sexier Twin since there is no more restricting her image.

I find it sort of funny how people keep saying it's unfair how Gill get to train and Char didn't? Hmm Charlene can to if she stop filming moving but then there would be complaint that Ah Sa is not giving enough opportunity and this and that. Gill is laying low right now due to the scandal and Char is busy working on developing her career. What should Gill do? Stay home and do nothing.. but wait people would criticize her for being lazy. Maybe she should go back to performing...wait there are some idiotic and ignorant people who keep comlaining about her! So what should she do? Maybe she should lay low for awhile until everything is over and work on her craft and make a big comeback when the time is right? Yeah that exactly what she is doing!!! Gill will be out there hustling with Charlene too if she could (remember she did after the scandal) but due to some stupid people she instead have to step back. Both girls are working hard on their career right now but they are taking different path and method due to the circumstance at hand, so I don't think it's fair to criticize Gill or Char for the path they are taking because they are both in different situation. Char can't do the same thing that Gill is doing and Gill can't do the same thing Char is doing. Char can't just go hide aways nor does she want to and Gill can't just keep being push to the shark to feed upon. Whatever I am just happy that Gill is slowly but surley getting better and improving herself. Jia you Gill and Twins!!!

Finally a news of Gillian! Yatta! so happy for her, she's training for her comeback.

But eh? Unfair? as you have seen it, Gillian did appeared after the scandal. Yes, she performed, she tried but what had she got? discrimination. Won't you get down if you yourself is in like this?
Gillian would like to work but i bet again, there's EEG behind this training.
so don't put all the blame to Gillian.

Charlene is the one who was from Canada. Gillian stayed in HK all her life, if I didn't remember wrongly.

Well, if I'm not wrong, Charlene is currently bombarded by the reporters not because of Gillian, but because of Isabella's court case.

It's kinda weird reading about Ah Sa fans complaining that Gillian is taking lessons to improve on her dancing etc. 1st of all, it is fortunate for Ah Sa that she's busy with work n she remains popular. Gillian would rather be in her shoes. At least she's taking positive steps to make a comeback.

Ah Sa fans should be happy that she doesn't need to do all that, because she's not the one who needs to make a comeback!
