These thing happens because there is a demand for it. If we're stop buying magazine that show these kind of pictures then I'm sure that a big signal for them that we're not tolerate this kind of behaviour anymore

boycotting those pictures is a great idea. people shouldn't take pictures like that -- even if they are stars or normal people -- it's illegal and not right! everyone has their privacy and this right should be respected. it's different between entertainment news and something as serious as this. this is very offensive and must be taken seriously so this incident never happens again.

i feel very sorry for the victim of this incident -- it's even worse than being stalked by because her privacy is exposed to everyone -- basically, publicized. i'm glad tvb and all the other actors and actresses are standing up for gillian to protest.

celebrities are people too -- they should have their own rights and privacies as well. and most importantly, they need respect from everyone!

by the way, what is EASY FINDER -- never heard of it before. but whatever it is, it lacks professionalism!

Jackie Chan and Andy Lau look like they are forced to be there hahahaha
ha..ha... agree.

I really want Gillian to win because this is involving respect too to artist and of course to a woman. The reporter's act is like a pervert, you know the guy who likes to wait in the ladies room or changing room and take pictures of women peeing or changing clothes sweat.gif

there was no protest like this when albert yeung's (EEG Boss) magazine posted nude pictures of Carina Lau.
I heard when Jackie Chan was asked about this he wouldn't say anything.

Although I also do not condone what the magazine did to Gillian, the incident just seem to be blown out of proportions to me. Maybe it's because I'm from the US and these sort of things aren't out of the ordinary for me, but I'm just surprised the incident got sooo big in hk. o_O I mean, is this the FIRST time this kind of thing happened? If not, why didn't anyone spoken up BEFORE? Why NOW? Hasn't there been other worse events that happened? I just don't feel it's fair that these kind of protests only gotten so big after it happened to ONE star when it had probably happened among a million people already. It's like, the news: millions people payed attention to ONE child who's been kidnapped when there are a million others that have been kidnapped before. Shows how much people actually cared. heh

there's a meaning behind this protest , taking this opportunity the hk artistes want government to set a law to punish the paparazzi who goes on peeping their privacy. currently there's no law to punish paparazzi. it isn't just about gillian case only. it's more on dignity and morality behind the publishing. with all the protest, hope the hk gov will pay more attention into this matter and set a law so it won't happen to others in the future.

This conference idea is brilliant, and warn this cannot happen again. After this I think reporters etc. should now stop all this talk and leave Gil alone. Reporters are over the top bringing this thing up everytime she is around.

seldom we see a bunch of artists get together for a conference unless something "big" happens in the news... they should get together more often regardless... but anyway.. hope time will heal all wounds and gillian will pass this news

other posters are correct... if no one supports or buys this magazine or the pics, then nothing will come of it.
See the pics of Gillian crying, I do feel bad for her.
Good to see people are rallying behind her and this unfortunate incident.

i'm touched by their unity

gillian should be mad instead of sad, no use crying and look like a weepy girl. get up and take a stand, let the anger take over.
