haha that is true, most of them cannot dance, their concerts are very boring to watch sometimes cause the singer just stands there

Korean ppl are the BEST at dancing IMO... [WooHyuk, Minwoo, etc.]... CAUSE MOST OF THEM ACTUALLY MAKE UP THEIR OWN DANCE MOVES~!!!

None of the HK stars can dance~! They either lack the skills or the charisma.
The most decent one is prolly Aaron Kwok but i dont find his moves that special either >______<

100% AGREE. none of them can dance. like.. i watch partly of gigi leung dancing and she cant dance for SHIEEEET. and like twins... their little walking around and twirling hands.. theres a lot more. the funny thing is.. even if they sing slow songs, they still lypsync and not dance. for krn stars, if its slow, they would sing live, and if its not TOO fast, they would still sing live even tho the voice is not perfect. having the voice not perfect is actually better cause at least its live. i dont get why hk people just cant dance. same here.. if u go to a bar, its usually the hk people that cant dance.

Cant really blame it on anyone, Those old HK folkes still into that old saying the hell as loud as you can Pop and new singers having as a goal gaining acceptance with both sides. Old folks want those old stand here and just sing songs and new folks that want some different types of music and summer songs where you add some cool dance moves to it!

But in the end, I prefer singing over any dancing harhar.gif

Yeah they can't dance, but maybe they spend not enough time to train dancing and spend more time to try to sing blush.gif.
Aaroon Kwok was a dancer... he could learn the moves faster then other singers.

aaron and kelly has to be the best dancers in hong kong. too bad we don't see very much of their dancing anymore...
there aren't much good dancers of this new generation in hk, but EO2 is pretty good. the most ridiculous dancers has to be cookies. yucky.gif:

I would say Aaron Kwok is still one of the best dancers in the HK entertainment others especially the newer singers are just blah

Korean singers can definitely dance cause they were trained to sing & dance in the US (I think) since that is the country where all the Hip Hop started

aaron is good.. but he cant really dance hip hop. i dont think korean dancers are trained in us... they probably got choreographers that were trained in us and go to korea to train them. but i doubt they come here to train cause i dont hear much of them coming here.

I think Hong Kong stars can dance really well like Aaron Kwok, Bernice Liu, Akina Hong (Wa), and that guy that played the second son in Virtues of Harmony. Joey Yung and Kelly Chen are okay in dancing.

hmm.. aaron kwok can definately dance. He even choreographs the dancing for his concerts and other events. You people should see Para Para Sakura (there isn't a huge amount of dancing, but enough to see a variety of what he can do. including break dancing, tap dancing, etc...). well.. even better, go watch his concerts. not many singers can actually sing while dancing all out for 2 or 3 hours.

it's weird when you are singin' ( doing your part - standing like a tree ) and other dancers perform their role ..definitly not complementary ...

Yes they can't dance but that's what dance teachers are for. Not all of them were made for singing/acting etc. They get professional help to develop their skills.

If they can sing really well they wouldn't need to.. but some don't (i.e. something Mak), he looks bad for a person and extremely bad for a celebrity.

there are exceptions, but in GENERAL most chinese singers cant dance not like the koreans. U just get the usual hand movements. And if your luck a side step here and there

ya.... hk stars can't dance.... but i don't mind... cause i'm more into the slower songs.... so they don't need to dance..... i'm not big with dance songs..... but the concerts are still good..... like they still dance..... i haven't seen korean stuff... mainly cause i'm not into it.... and i don't understand... language wise..... so i guess can't judge on their dance and music.....

and omg yess Bi is good, I can't believe Deep's trying to copy him...that pisses me off

yes someone mentioned yumiko. when i was reading no one mentioned her and i was kinda confused. i saw an interview on her and she was saying how on her company promoted her with the style of hip hop artist who can break some moves.. but her dancing ain't tha great. i mean getting paid X amount of big bucks, com'on now give the audience what they paid for.

SE7EN CAN DANCE =D ooh and rain too. hotness.

Don't agree. I watched many concerts of Liza Wang, and she can dance very well. Especially in her concert 2003. Liza and Jordan Chan danced the latin dance and the capture scene very well. It was great and attractive. And I used to see Aaron Kwok dancing also. And he could dance well as well. So I don't think that none of them can't dance.

Currently I'm sure Aaron Kwok is the best dancer, I thought Sammi Cheng used to dance good and Ron Ng is pretty good after I seen the AAM concert. harhar.gif

you're kidding right cause I also watched the AAM concert & his dancing was really stiff plus he's also lipsynching

I agree none of the HK stars can dance except for Aaron Kwok, most of them make me cringe while watching their so-call dancing on stage

the Koreans are probably the best Asian dancers, examples are Bi, Se7en & Shinhwa just like American singers maybe cause they really like hip hop dance
