Jackie Chan Will Do Less Kicking in New Movie

The long - anticipated movie, "Xin Su Shi Jian", or The Shinjuku Incident, will start shooting in this November, the Shanghai Youth Daily reported.

The movie represents the first time that Hong Kong director Yee Tung-Shing will work with action movie legend Jackie Chan. And the film may also involve Chan's son, Jaycee.

Yee says that he had spent 10 years preparing the movie and postponed another year so that Jackie Chan could take part. Chan will play a Chinese living in Japan who originally came to the country as a student. This time, Yee hopes Chan can do a lot less kicking and try more emotional things.

Besides Jackie Chan, Hong Kong heartthrob Daniel Wu will also be in the cast.

Its good to hear that Daniel is also in this movie. Wonder will Daniel going to do any fighting in this movie?

lol at least he won't get accidents like in Rob-B-Hood.

why is daniel always in good movies? hes not a good actor and plus he looks like an idiot whilst acting (tut tut)

Jackie Chan is one of my all time favorite star. I can't wait to see him in an emotional role. Just wonder if Jaycee will play a younger role of Jackie. That boy can't act.

Cool this is going to be a great movie, with all the top cast in there.

ok no one wants to see jacky emotional or kissing a girl. everyone wants to see jacky doing flips and stunts...

jacky's son is getting such a free ride and treatment just cuase of his father...how lame

haha. i agree..and when i read the 'heartthrob daniel'..i was like..what?! he's not a heartthrob..he's ugly. lol. ..in my opinion..maybe there are much more people out there think daniel is handsome and all. but yea, i dont think his acting is that much special.
