Jang Ja Yun’s incident takes a minor step forward with the phone call recordings of the deceased actress being released by MBC yesterday. The call recordings contained a part in which Jang Ja Yun told a good friend of her that her boss Kim wanted to kill her. This news shocked the Korean public and even forced a police clarification on the matter today (26th).

According to MBC NewsDesk on the 25th which reported the phone conversation in Jang Ja Yun’s cellphone: “In one of the phone conversation with her good friend before she committed suicide, Jang Ja Yun said ‘Kim wanted to terminate all my benefits and even reprimanded me. Kim said that he wanted to kill me and also proceeded to assert violence on me. He will really kill me’. The conversation shows her extreme fear towards her boss Kim.”

In another phone conversation, Jang Ja Yun said: “I have done according to my boss’s instruction… I do not want to spoil his reputation. Although I can expose him if I bring the sms that he had text me to the police, but I do not want to do so.” This conversation clearly hinted that she was indeed forced to have sex with others or something against her own will.

However, the South Korean police has today tried to clarify on the report made by MBC, by saying that Kim had indeed threatened Jang Ja Yun, but not in the way reported by MBC.

The police spokesperson said: “The ‘kill’ mentioned by Kim may not literally mean ‘killing someone’. It may likely mean killing off Jang Ja Yun’s actress career. However just based on this, Kim has already committed an offence and the police will continue the investigation through this clue.”

One phone conversation, two different interpretations. Which is the truth?

In all respect, I really do feel sorry for her. But seriously, why would anyone want to 'sell' their body in the first place? I know that finance is an important matter but c'mon.. I would much rather live in poverty or find a low-paid job than go sleep with the boss :S

R.I.P Jang Ja Yun and hopefully that guy gets what he deserves >:)

So, there`s still no justice for JJY.:(
Tsk, she should`ve just told the police about her manager.

It's true that she should have told, but if you were in her position, it would be a really hard decision to get the nerve to do so. I really hope they find justice for her soon.

With all due respect, I don't think that's feeling sorry for her. You sounded more like blaming on a deceased person than actually feeling sorry for her.

I am just puzzled as to people don't ask why this kind of extortion, violence, sexual abuse can take place in a civilized society within entertainment circle but instead focusing on blaming the victim.

Maybe it's time for you to climb down from your moral high horse....

if she called the police do you think they would believe her or her boss??
he has a lot of influence and power..
also people say it's her fault for giving in and selling herself for fame...
but what if she was raped and forced in to it? would it still be her fault?

Actress makes poor decisions. Leads to her being depressed and her suicide. Who can we blame for that ?

she was porbably forced to do it . i mean who knows what goes on behind the cameras ?
RIP JangJaYun . hope the truth comes out and the person who did this to you would get punished . i also think that nobody deserves to say stuff like " she shouldnt of sold her body at the first place " don't u think that sounds mean ? its not like she wanted to and because u havent been through what poor JangJaYun has been through, u shouldnt say that . i'm sure she was depressed about it and like what the media says ; she was forced to . it was against her own will . so no1 has the right to say such inconsiderate stuff. think before u make a statement.

have you ever think why people decide to commit suicide? have you been pushed to the wall and there is no body to call for help and you're so afraid to trust anyone and anybody, you're afraid to tell your family, friends what really happen? have you been hoax to have sex with someone whom you dont like to have sex with? if not, then dont judge.

she's the victim here!!!!

different people react differently.

I really fell sorry for her, I hope she can find justice, but for what I read, i get the feeling the police is not trying hard to dig out the truth, i feel they like to minimize the case and the evidence and put so many excuses as well. I mean, for me this is more credible than someone deciding just killing her self out the blue, if this is the truth this could explain why there´s so many suicides inside the E-circle.
I hope they find the truth soon and may she rest in peace.

uh-oh...one subcriber must shut his mouth now.
hehehehe! anyway, i hope justice will be at hand already
regarding JANG JA-YUN's death.
she's a pretty young girl && would have had so many great things to accomplish.
but suddenly, this tragic thing happened.
i hope those people who know something behind this incident
would come out from their veils and present their STRONG EVIDENCES
to strengthen their side.

really, i hope she'll rest in peace.

im starting to think that the police is being bought or something, everytime i read something about this case it always says how the police is making up excuses. one it was that the diary didnt say anything then that she was just depressed and now that if she says " he will kill me" its not true. i wonder how hard they are truelly working to find out the truth.. there needs to be justice because you dont know how many other people are going through this. and for those you act like its her fault its not maybe she just got to the point where she couldnt take it any longer
