Ah, I knew of KAT-TUN after seeing 2 members as part of the main cast for the j-drama Gokusen 2. <3 So cute! They can sing very well too. But I couldn't find much on them. Glad to have this thread!

I can't believe that Kat-tuny thing. But I find it quite hilarious. If they are going to add Yamapi, find a better name ^^;
And I'd rather Yamapi go solo because he can make it fine on his own. I still want the original Kat-tun.

I first heard of them was in the gokusen season 2 and I really like some of their songs too

I came in here earlier and was surprise that there was not a Kat-tun thread, they are so popular. I just started to like them. I first watched Nobuta wo produce because Yamapi was in it, and not knowing anything about Kat-tun and don't know who Kamenashi is, I thought that Yamapi was the main actor. Then I just fall in love with Kame, and then went and watched Gokusen 2 and love him even more, and then I started to learn more about Kat-tun and now I like the whole group, can't wait till their debut cd comes out.

KAT-TUN was formed in 2001 by Koichi Domoto of Kinki Kids, both part of Johnny's Entertainment, an Idol-making agency which probably dominates the male idol industry in Japan. KAT-TUN quickly gained popularity and stayed as a group until this day as an undebuted group, which means they had never released a CD with their original songs. Now, in 2006, it has finally been announced that KAT-TUN will be debuting on March 22, 2006 with three(3) releases. A CD Single entitled Real Face, a CD Album entitled Best of KAT-TUN, and A DVD entitled Real Face Film will be available to fans after 5 long years of waiting and anticipation! These releases will be under the new record lable J-One Records, a spin off from J-Storm.

kat-tun has debut already!! so great...

i just watched their PV .. finally realized...dat KAT-TUN style is totally differnt frm NEWS ... lol i was too focus on NEWS dat i never take a good look at KAT-TUN...well i have to admit i like their new PV a lot ^^ ... but i think they focus on jin and kame too much...the other members were kind of left out...unlike NEWS even though Yamapi is the leader....but the other members are alwayz around too.....in KATTUN "real face' pv....i can say that 95% the camera was onli on jin and kame...well some for koki cuz he was rappin but...still....i think other members need some attention too?

Hm, I notice that too but it have always been like that since forever. I want to complain but then it's not gonna change....Well, watch it if you haven't people. LOL, Jin and Ueda......

I do agree that in Kat-tun PV they focus alot o Jin and Kame but I disagree that NewS focus on everyone. I have watched their PV too, and alot of the time alot of the focus is on yamapi, and most of their song, its like him singing solo with a line or two solo line for those who is more popular, and member like koyama and this other guy doesn't have solo line at all. I just think that their group have too much members. In kat-tun, they can some times split a song up on shounen club where they can all have solo lines, but there is just too much people in news to do that, that's just how I think.

The normal editions didn't sold out yet. LOL, I heard the limited editions restocked yesterday and ran out again 4 hrs later.....I had to buy the album, single, and dvd seperately......so broke right now but totally not regreting it ^^

KAT-TUN...wow so much to say yet i guess there's going to be even more to say about them after 22. this group was the first actually jmusic group that i fell in love with and im still deeply in love with them. (everyone spread the K A T T U N LOVE!!)

I know there's fans out there that only support KAT-TUN b/c of kame or jin or b/c of akame. I admit i love kame to death, but I love kat-tun as a whole under another category. During the summery concert last year after seeing it I was nagging to my friends that "how come they still haven't debuted yet!" than a few months ago when i heard they are going to debute this year in march i literally cried...but in joy that is! I couldn't imagine the fans tat have supported them for the past five years they must of been ten thousand times more happy than i was since i haven't been a fan for too long (such a shame for me! )

just want to help spread the kat-tun love and keep supporting them through all the things they are going to be doing from now on! ganbatte!!
