 Mini-pigs have become the latest fad in China with people flocking to buy them as pets. Owners believe the pigs are lucky as 2007 is the Year of the Boar. Liu, owner of a pet shop in Guangzhou market, told Eastern IC: "It's normal that in a day we sell 20 to 30 mini-pigs." Mini-pigs, which originated in Thailand, look like ordinary pigs but are only 30cm long and weigh about 5kg when fully grown. www.ananova.com |

OMG! Thats sooo cute!!!
I hpoe the people take care of the pig though; and not just a fad. And hopefully... none of the pigs get eaten once people are bore with it. |

omg that pig is freaking adorable!! soo cute in that chinese costume.. haha well hopefull those pigs end up as real pets and not just some dinner meal for the new years!!

i agree that its a fad but if tis in china its totally fine to have it as a pet because its pretty smart and clean hehe i want one too- a black one would be so cute mwahahahaha no la dont ship animals- they are in shock because they are not in a comfy sit, alowed to eat and go to the washroom and buckled when they are taking off or touching down- think about yourself in this little squashed compartment, moving back and forth and due to turbelence its even worse at the end of the plane, frieghtneed and not undesstanding what ishappeneing- many pets die on their flight over |
