TVB and CRHK collaborated in a programme to search for talents. Miriam, Steven Chan and Sammy Leung attended a promotion event. Steven and Sammy kept asking Miriam why her face had become thinner suddenly and Steven asked her "don't pretend to get married". Miriam replied, "It's not my choice. I didn't accept this script all along." She rather being said injected Botox to trim her face than to be said she can't get married because it affects Yeung family's reputation.

The three had to perform a sketch on stage. Miriam and Steven played husband and wife. Miriam kept picking dialogues of Steven beating her and Sammy requested Miriam to kiss Steven.

Some magazines wrote that their wedding has been called off because Real Ting backed out. Miriam said calmly, "Written till this stage? People have their own creative freedom, can't kill it. Not bad?! I like this magazine, it has been loyal to me for so many years." Sammy said he doesn't hope Miriam to get married so that she won't retire. Miriam said she will definitely not retire because she really likes to work and thinks marrying into a rich family is stressful so she's not envious of Isabella Leung. She said, "Everyone thinks differently and has different needs. I don't like to be not working." As for being "forced" to kiss Steven Chan on stage, she expressed, "He's high management so I respect him, therefore it was embarrassing just now. But he has good acting talent."

I'm so glad Miriam mentioned this! I don't want her to quit her career!
