The Music Radio China Top Chart Awards took place in China this Sunday, with almost everyone in attendance. Most Popular Mainland Group Winner BOBO opens it with a medley of the top mainland Chinese songs of 2008. Zhang Jie followed it with a medley of the top Taiwan/HK/Singapore/Malaysian songs of 2008 (see comments for video). How many can you recognize?

Congratulations to all the winners! I'm not that familiar with Mainland music but the Taiwanese winners are all awesome! Congratulations to all of them!

Li Yuchun's the most popular female artist. Hate to break it to some of you guys, but the way that Music Radio Works is that popularity is more prestigious and was done by voting. Those who don't win that goes into the pool for best artist. I personally think that's ridiculous because Best Artists sounds a lot better than Most Popular, but I can't really complain.

And I do believe that to win Best All-Around, you have to dance/sing/entertain, and I'm pretty sure neither Wang Zheng nor Fish Leong are known for their dancing.

Plenty of people dislike her. For example, many of the Zhou Bichang/Jane Zhang/etc. fans. I used to dislike her a lot, but she's really not that bad once you get to know her a little better.

She sings and dances fairly well, and almost always sings live (as opposed to the numerous boybands and girlbands who can do neither). And her fanclub is amazing.
