On Friday night, Hong Kong film star Daniel Wu, attended the opening party for the Racks M.D.B. club at Xintiandi, Shanghai's nightlife center. First opened in Hong Kong, the pool players' club has attracted many celebrities.

A 34-year-old actor of Shanghai descent, Wu is on the investor's list for the new club. American born Wu went to explore the Hong Kong film industry in late 1990s and played minor roles at first but is now a headliner.

Luckily Daniel is a talented actor and has not become caught up in the politics of the HK entertainment industry! It is also good that he doesn't place all his focus there too.
