Raymond Lam, Ron Ng and Michael Miu at Sandra Ng's Talk Show
Source: Ming Pao (12/04/2009)
Translated by : choccho @ http://asianfanatics.net

Raymond and his good friend Ron and Michael were guests at Sandra Ng and Chin Ka Lok's talk show "Sparkle Club". The topic was on "The Challenges of being a "Siu Sang".

Raymond was asked if Sandra did ask him about his rumours, he replied [Yes, of course, it's also about the recent rumours]. (Are the rumours about Linda Chung?). Raymond replied, [Yes! In fact many people think that we are very compatible, even my colleagues asked me about it. I can only say that this has proven that the audience are pretty much into the drama characters, and this is a good thing].

Raymond's First Concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum

Raymond's first concert will be held in June at the Hong Kong Coliseum. He revealed that he's just had his concert promotional poster taken.

[For this concert, there will be some sexy elements in the concert to match the theme. I have just started on some fitness training but the most challenging part is remembering lyrics. I'm most worried about forgetting the lyrics. Another thing that worries me is issues as to whether I'm able to complete the filming of the new series, as it would certainly interfere with my rehearsal sessions and other preparations for the concert. Things are all cramped up in the same month].

Raymond was asked how he feels about his very first concert.

[I feel very nervous, even my "brothers" (in TVB) also got a shocked when they know that I will be holding a concert in June. I just hope all goes well].

He's having his first concert at Hong Kong Coliseum already?

No offense, but I don't think he's ready... the guy has like 2 songs

I miss the good old days where talented singers did concerts in Hong Kong Coliseum instead of all these newcomers....

I hear that William Chan's going to have his first concert at Hong Kong Coliseum too...

Oh EEG...

He had 2 albums already and is going to release the 3rd one. Means he had 20+ songs.

First, congrats to Raymond on his first big appearance. He gotta have a some guests to fit in, as some of you said he doesnt have many songs to perform. I certainly won't think he'll sing all the songs from all his albums(which is not many sleep.gif) This is a big step and the risk his company is putting him into. Maybe it's set on half coli instead of a full house.

This is funny, 2 songs? Our talented Raymond Lam has so many songs already since his debut as a TVB singer in 2002. Gosh, you made me mad. We have awaited for him to become a full time singer since 2002 and finally he has a concert in Hong Kong Coliseum, you have to be so biased of him. Support him, he needs our support and dedication. BTW, Raymond I am so proud of you!! Show them what you get and let them admire you!!

Congratulations to Raymond for being able to hold his very first concert at the HK Coliseum! I'm super happy for him and I wish him success, but I am a little worried for him. He has a very tight schedule with filming, rehearsing, etc. Can he manage? I hope he doesn't get sick or suffer from exhaustion. Raymond has a lot of songs, not just the ones on his albums. I think he has the capability of holding his own concert eventhough I think it's a little too soon cuz he has only officially been in the music industry for 2 years. Good Luck Raymond, I know you can do it! Jia you!

TWO albums out

but only

TWO good songs to brag about

expect him to sing other singers song cuz most of his songs are not that great...

also expect tons of guests to be on his concert

have you guys seen him dance?? you know concerts thesedays all feature at least a ten-minute dancing, fast tempo medley....

his singing has improved, i give you that

Although he's just been in the music industry for a short span of 2 years, I think Raymond (coming from the acting background) has established a bright path for himself in music as compared to some newcomers in the HK Music industry (regardless of their respective music companies and background).

Raymond certainly has plenty of time and space to improve just as he always admits so. So, I think he deserves our support as well smile.gif

I agree with you. Raymond has his own songs even before 2002.
Example:
His movie's themesong, Stolen Love and Eternal Happiness subtheme

congrats to raymond! hope his concert will go well!

hahas .. go carolL! and Renne tongue.gif and dbsk_love hahas!!
I know Raymond doesn't have 2 songs of his own either .. maybe you might of thought only 2 songs were well-known but that doesn't mean he doesn't have more songs, does it?

Good luck Ray .. I'm sure he'll remember his lyrics. ^^
I can't go but happy for those that can. :]
