Sheren Tang doesn't like to compete for TV queen award

Sheren Tang and Wayne Lai were both considered as hot favourite to win TVB's King and Queen award. They were invited as special guests to appear in "To 8 women's heart" (至八女人心) programme. Speaking about Sheren has support from Lau Yiu Hing (劉曉慶) who had made recommendation to Miss Fong (方逸華) to nominate her as the "TV Queen", Sheren smiled and respoded "You believe that? Are you joking? Do not take it seriously. I am happy she supports me. I will give her a copy of "Rosy Business" to watch. She also made recommendation for me to film my first mainland series. She knows my standard." Even though Sheren has support, it hasn't increase her confidence. She thanks everybody for their support, Sheren added "I don't like competition, I always challenge myself, I am my worse enemy. (Who do you think will get the award?) I am not telling."

I think Sheren's attitude is quite appropriate. She has been a strong contender for this award for years and she has gained recognition from her colleagues and audience so there really is no need for the award.

Sheren and Wayne have done a great job in Rosy Business and I do pick them as the winners this year <3. Even if they say they want to win I won't blame them because they've really performed well. However I feel that at this stage of their career Sheren and Wayne have really experienced and understand the business and getting the awards isn't really a goal anymore but only a bonus. They've already won the heart of the audiences anyway ^__^

For years now, people have been saying Sheren should have won for her roles in TVB dramas, but the answer has always been that TVB won't give it to her because she's not one of their exclusive contracted actresses. If she doesn't win at least something this year, I think public opinion would definitely have a field day criticizing TVB. Wayne has been a great actor for many years now. Whatever role you give him, he's able to handle it. And he's been loyal to TVB for years. I see no reason they would not give him an award.

i think she just like acting and enjoy it ... she has no mean to compete the awards with others
