The news of Super Junior member Shin Dong reducing his body weight by 16kg with dieting and vigorous dance training has become a hot topic among fans.

Shin Dong smashed the usual perception among critics that idol singers must be good-looking with his gift of the gab and a wide array of talent when he debuted as par of Super Junior. He posted a selca of himself on his Cyworld recently and when compared to his previous photos, you just can’t believe that you are looking at the same person. He looks totally like a different person. He has once again changed people’s perception of Shin Dong through this.

According to a SM Entertainment representative, “Shin Dong has been on a diet by himself in order to let fans see a different side of him. Besides controlling his food intake, he has also been losing a lot of weight from being on his MNet program ‘Dance Yong Hyung Dong Jae’. Shin Dong always have to keep dancing on the program and he has unknowingly lost a lot of weight through that.”

omg he looks really different now. He looks very young and cute now and hopefully he is healthy (what i mean is that hopefully he didn't starve himself to look thin).

No matter what I'll support him all the way. It's his personality that really capture people's hearts and not his looks!

Go! Go! Go! Shindong! haha! I know he can do it and we already saw his slimmer body now! I know what he feel in dieting hehe I just experince it and it was just terrific! losing 16kg was hard though! I was fat too last yr. from 171 to 133 I lost 37 pounds.. So He can do it! hehe

Super Junior ShinDong recently posted up some of his selca on his homepage, showing a much slimmer and idol-like him, which caused much interests amongst fans.

The truth is that he has lost about 16kg from the dance exercise routine and dieting that he has been going through lately for MBC ‘Dancing YongHyungDongJae’ with DJ Doc member Lee Jae Yong.



Not to talk about looking better and building on the self-esteem, this is also a much healtier body for him than before.

Super Junior member Shin Dong recently revealed his radically different new look including the round haircut.

On the 14th and 16th Shin Dong wrote on his minihompy, “Hairstyle change. Please don’t critique me too harshly everyone,” and then revealed his new hairstyle. In the past, he had round features but presently he has a more pleasant oval face.

Last July when Shin Dong began activities in Super Junior Happy he decided to lose weight. He went to a sportscenter everyday and stayed on a diet on which he lost 10kg (~23lbs).

Fans seeing Shin Dong’s new look reacted with, “Complete cutie, Oppa looks like a really sexy guy,” “Oppa why did you lose so many pounds!” and “Oppa is really cute, your hairstyle is really surprising.”

yeah shinding oppa looks healthier now not that he wasnt before but wow he looks sooo different almost didnt recognize him.....I remember not long ago he said he was doing it didnt know that he could do it soooo fast good job shindong!!
