Show Luo & Rainie Yang share a deep kiss in new CTS drama ‘Shanghai Sweetheart’. However, after their kiss, they immediately jumped apart, and yelled out in awkwardness. A few years ago, the 2 had a cold war over the Ben incident, and even though they were under the same management company, they did not acknowledge each other. They even went their separate ways during a time when they had to walk the red carpet together. 3 years ago, Rainie initiated in resolving the problem, and the 2 now see each other as the best collaboration partner in their heart.
Yesterday, mushroom-head Show & Rainie filmed a promotional photoshoot for the drama. Reporters brought up the topic of Show’s ex-girlfriend Makiyo revealing their break-up, but Show pretended as if he didn’t know what they were talking about. Rainie immediately jumped to his rescue, using a rather unusual method. She deliberately said coldly to the reporters: “Asking him this, you guys won’t be publishing my photo instead, in tomorrow’s paper right?”
Show & Rainie’s previous cold war is well-known among the public. That year, Rainie refused to admit that she was dating B.A.D's Ben Bai, and being Ben’s good friend, Show could not see past this any longer. He expressed his displeasure at Rainie and from then, the 2 started a cold war. 3 years ago, Rainie & Show were invited to America to perform at a casino, and at the celebration party afterwards, Rainie asked Show: “Is there any misunderstanding between us?” At first, Show pretended he didn’t know what she was talking about, and replied: “Is there?” But Rainie persisted: “Yes!” And the 2 had a big heart-to-heart.
Now, the 2 are like best friends. And Show very much admires Rainie’s straightforward personality. Rainie laughed saying: “At the same time when we’re rumoured to not get along, we also spark love rumours, it’s funny isn’t it!” Show is nominated in this year’s Golden Bell Awards, and he is very happy at being recognized for his comedic performance. Rainie on the other hand, wasn’t nominated for her role in ‘Miss No Good’ and she could not help but protest.
‘Shanghai Sweetheart’ is set to premiere on November the 1st on CTS.

and in the end, show yells out in frustration haha. and he was like: "ah im going crazy! anyways, isnt my latest rumour girlfriend supposed to be rainie?" and then surprise surprise, reporters hang onto his words, and ask him if he got angry with rainie going out somewhere with one of his friends (couldnt hear the name properly) and u could see him getting so exasperated haha, but still, being the good-natured him, he joked: "i'll tell u guys the truth.. actually i like males.. haha!"
