Stephen Chow & Edison To Hold HipHop Competition

Yesterday, online reports say that Stephen Chow and Edison Chen will make a Hip Hop duo to enter the music industry. When the media asked Stephen to explain, Stephen said it is all a big misunderstanding. Stephen said, “Edison and I will be holding a Hip Hop dancing competition. It is because when I saw Hip Hop dancers performing in Korea, I thought it looked cool. I want to bring the Hip Hop culture from Korea to China. I want to see if Chinese dancers or Korean dancers are better. (Will there be awards?) The winner will become the spokesperson of the website, 挑戰. Because Hip Hop and the website both target young people. (Why Edison?) Although I am young, I need to find someone younger to help out. I think he also wants to enter the competition.” On working terms, Stephen says he will be working on a movie but it may not be ‘Kung Fu Hustle 2’.

anyways i think Stephen is referring to, I would guess breakdancing, but possibly hip hop dancing. this seems interesting I wanna check it out! hope there's coverage of it that's easy access.

This is pretty cool if stephen does the dancing as well! It should be interesting! Either we laff at him if he dances or if he's very good, we will praise him and it shows anyone can do it!

i can't believe that Stephen and Edison are going to have a competition. I think maybe Edison will be better in dances because he's kinda good in hip hop dances. I think Stephen are are going to be the same too because he can learn and don't need to be young to dance hip hop.

New project for stephen. Sounds good. and its not even kung fu hussle which means a brand new project. Always glad to see him producing new stuff. He is a comedy legend. Love all his work. As for asking edisen chen as well to be a judge. I am not so sure about that. I know he is all into the hip hop and all. But can he really judge as hes not spectacular on the genre himself.
