TVB had received 8 complaints from the viewers

TVB celebrated its 41st Anniversary Extravaganza on 19th the other night. They have received an index rating of 34, peaked at 37, pulling 2,330,000 viewers. But the show on "Moonlight Resonance" resulted TVB receiving 8 complaints from the public viewers.

In the show, Eric was seen throwing cream cake randomly at other people and Moses was attacked from behind by Christine Ng who kept touching his chest. They had 2 complaints about the cake throwing saga, stating that act was cheap and wasting food. The other complaint was about female artist touching male artist as indecent and unprofessional. The TV complaint department had also received 5 complaints, including the food wastage and the indecent acts by male artist dressed up as female who was attacked by a female actress from behind.

The show had a peak index rating of 37 points when it was near the end when there was a lucky draw of big prizes. This year's index rating is the lowest for 5 years. TVB has been showing the last 10 years Anniversary Gala as requested by the viewers.

haha, I was watching this with my family and my mom and I both agreed that this skit was going to get lots of complaints, mainly because of Christine Ng "groping" Moses.

Complaints are expected.... can't please everyone. Plus, it's only 8 complaints out of 2,330,000 viewers, so that's not bad. Just a really really small number.

I didn't enjoy the skit as much. It was funny... but it wasn't anything special. I loved how Eric got Susanna, twice.

throwing food is very stupid. i really don't know why people in hk like to do that.

People should not be all uptight about the show. IT is for fun and instead of laughing and enjoying the show, they are complaining.

Erm.. .as far as I could remember.. the throwing cake thing has been around for a very long time So I find it funny how people are complaining about it after so many years -.- And why now?

Really 8 complaints is not so bad. Since no matter what you air, people will complain about the show anyways.

The cake part was definitely not as funny and fun to watch as when the artists all acted as statues and were made fun off by Eric (forgot which year it was.. last year?) But that groping complaint is so funny LOL.

o...k this is not the first time celebrities use food to throw around, i think these have nothing else to do so they have to find something to make a big deal out of. and wth look at the super trio show, every season has some kind of foodfight why not make a big deal out of that

Do they think it's still the ancient times where girls and boys are forbidden to even HOLD HANDS OR TOUCH EACHOTHER. THIS IS DUMB. What's wrong with Christine touching Moses's "FAKE" boobs. It's fake anyways.. plus those girls were only touching their chest at least they didn't touch the "PRIVATE" parts.
TVB is willing to waste food to make them laugh. x.x and this is what they get lmfao.

i think TVB should juz stop the throwing cake segment,every year i watch the anniversary i really hate the idea of cake throwing bcoz it seems like a serious food wastage going on..there is still many parts of the world which still have people starving without food.....

Oh my goodness, how much more complain can the HK viewers come up with? Here in the U.S., people would complain if it offends their religion or race, but we are talking about a skit that is to be made fun of a tv series. People need to chill out and relax.

Oh gosh more complaints on the TVB celebration ceremony? Geeze, HK people really do love putting their own opinions on everything. Even if it's something minor, they still think it's bad. I mean this part was just to entertain people. Even though the cakes were food wasting, it was needed since it's part of the skid. I'm sure TVB has the money to buy more! Also, Christine touching Moses was just playing around. I mean, they just want to make people laugh. Seriously, I think HK people love to tattle on little things and make it such a big deal!

Well i think this show is wayyy better than last year show, which was boring. Thing that they complaining are those that are the most funniest part.

People in Hong Kong have nothing better to then complain about everything they watch! Instead of watching the show and enjoying it, they try to pick out things to complain about!

Ya I think throwing food is bit too much and on screen too.A bit like throwing away good edible food. Bad publicity for TVB
