First up: Kim Jae-won (of KBS’s Hwang Jini) recently announced his enlistment date as March 23. He leaves without a final Korean project to tide us over till his return, although his role in a Chinese drama will begin airing in March.

Kim co-starred with another upcoming enlistee, Kim Rae-won, back in 2002’s My Love Patzzi, who is another big name expected to begin his service soon. Last seen in SBS drama Gourmet (and now promoting his upcoming film Insadong Scandal), he will be holding one last fanmeeting next month to say goodbye to fans. The large-scale March 15 event precedes his 28th birthday (March 19) and will take place in Seoul.

Other expected upcoming enlistments include Frozen Flower’s Jo In-sung, Jo Han-seon of Sweet Lies, Choi Ji-woo’s Star’s Lover co-star Lee Ki-woo, and Choi Ji-woo’s real-life love Lee Jin-wook.

Both Kims were the first Korean actors that I know since My Love Patzzi was the first Korean series that I watch. Good luck to both of them and hopefully they will come back with a good project.

Like Alayna, these two were a part of my first Korean drama guys. I hated Kim Jae Won and freakin' ADORED Kim Rae Won. So my loves and my hates are leaving!

Keep my love, Jae Hee, company and send him my love! Gosh, I miss Jae Hee, now I'm going to be missing KRW as well!

huhuhuhu :waaa: i'm gonna miss kim jae won.... i started loving him since i saw my 19 y/o sister inlaw with yoon kye sang and the late jung da bin....
so sad......he'll be gone for like 2 years and not even leaving us a korean drama....
i'm gonna miss him so bad!!!!!
i hope he will be safe in that military service..... soldiers please take good care of my kjw please....

OMG! I haven't seen enough of Lee Ki Woo yet!! Loved him in A love to kill and then someone behind you and I never got to see anything else
Jo In Sung I started liking since What hapepned in Bali also someone I dont have enough yet arrrggg
