The article stated that Mike will be playing a handsome spoiled rich brat who's such a womanizer while Rainie's a "vendor(?)" who's in the brink of poverty. Mike insults her and the gods get angry and switch their bodies? So, Rainie becomes the arrogant playboy and Mike the timid vendor? (damn funny!)

If this is true, it's like Freaky Friday or that K-Drama "Change" (which was also based on a manga)...

I'm sure it'll be a hit! With good lead stars and such a "never-done-before-in-a-Taiwan idol drama" plot, people will glue their eyes on this one!

This plot could really test the acting prowesses of Rainie and Mike...

I am quite not understand about the plot. After changing, is Mike going to act as a poor guy or still a rich guy? What about Rainie?

UPCOMING IDOL DRAMA FOR MIKE HE AND RAINIE YANG


Angie Chai is to produce a new drama for "lovebirds of the hour" Mike He and Rainie Yang come the end of the year. Mike He who is known to be TVB Hong Kong's new recruit and Rainie Yang, one of the hottest Taiwanese popstars hit it big as a tandem last year headlining the hit Taiwanese idol drama, "The Devil Beside".

The new drama is to begin filming next season and Chai expressed to be hiring the best wardrobe specialists and makeup artists for well-prepared drama that will be based on a Korean manhwa. The current working title of the series is "Exchange Love" and as of the current, after a long wait and speculations, it is confirmed that He and Yang are to play the respective leads.

The gist surrounds a handsome heir to a business empire who couldn't get enough of his womanizing and rude behavior. He then meets a poor girl who juggles 3 physically-enduring jobs for a living. Boy insults girl on a weird encounter and through supernatural occurences, they discover they had switch bodies the next morning. Girl wakes up in the boy's body, in his family mansion while boy wakes up with the body of the girl in her bedspace. Their mission to get back to their real selves will be followed as the series goes on and this cooperation leads them to fall in love.

Rumors are high saying the release of this series could coincide with Rainie Yang's outing of her third album. Word also says this drama is to air at the same time as the drama of Zheng Yuancheng (?) and Lin Yichen (?).

rumors has it that Mike is going to TVB Since he signed contract wtih them........which i completely disagree with........but i quess they'll pay him more..

so he's still doing taiwan dramas too????????? when is he going to act for TVB????????

I don't understand why there are people are saying this drama is like iswaf or meteor garden..
the main story line is they will be switching bodies (if the news info is correct).. and there is nothing close to that in either drama.. or any taiwan idol drama.. m not too sure on this... but none tat i can recall anyway

This storyline doesn't seem anything new to me. I've already seen a Japanese drama played by Mizuki Arisa that has the same storyline as this. I wish they had invented some idea that's more original. The body-switching theme really could get you confused with their identities sometimes. You just kind of mixed up who's playing who.

And probably, taht was around 8 years ago right?

I now remembered. Houkago was the Jdorama switcheroo that I saw and the Korean switcheroo was a movie titled "Change".

But I think this would strengthen both Rainie and Mike as actors. It's their duty to sustain their characters without having the audience confused.

The story plot just like movie "Just My Luck" by Lindsay Lohan and Chris Pine. It's a good movie but can't get good rating. It should be very interesting, can't wait to seer Rainie and Mike chemistry in this drama series.

i think this kind of storyline is a new try and a new twist of things to taiwanese idol dramas!! i'm really looking forward to it..not just because im SUCH A HUGE RAINIE AND MIKE fan..but because the plot sounds interesting..although its similar to other korean dramas..but still. its a new thing for both rainie and mike..and with the confidence of Angie Chai..i'm anticipating for 2007 even more!

I'd say it all depend on how good the script will be...Success doesn't rely solely on the actors' skills. Especially when even the news said the leads do find the roles challenging to play.

^ I sort of disagree. DBY didn't even have half as god as the script of ISWAK but still, DBY was successful.

MAybe it could either rely on the script or the actors.

But promotion is also a key.
