er? Xing?! ~~last time I checked they disbanded~~... how did they beat artists like KAT-TUN and Arashi is beyond me.... Seems like most of the votes are korean.

Somehow I don't think this is based on CD sales, unless it's based on korean sales/popularity

No offense, but, why is BATTLE is even on this list???... those guys hardly do anything and have released only 3 singles in the past 3 years, then their last single ended up sounding like Big Bang. I'm sure there are more deserving artists out there who have actually released a full album.... :thumbdown

But I think this voting is a bit unfair because it was from a Korean magazine and it's obvious that Korean vote for "their" bands XD ~

congrats to all the winners but this feel as if its korea biased...
i mean we do have other good artists in other countries like Japan Kat Tun Arashi News ect
and Taiwan Jay Choi Fahrenheit
but why arent they included as asia stars? they do all the asia tours and stuff too..

So what is the basis of the ranking?
The use of credit cards? I don't get it and these are the basis for being hot?
I don't doubt DBSK being in the top...
But Lollipop higher than Fahrenheit and Jay Chou in the bottom of the list?
And where's Show Lou or Wang Lee Hom??

no S.H.E? i thought the girls are really popular in asia too. anyway i feel that this list is being biased towards korean artists in general. maybe they should have just put korea's 30 hottest artists instead of saying world asia or stuff like that. though i love Wonder Girls, SS501 & Big Bang i feel that the list is not really being fair to other asian artists. wang lee hom surely deserves a place up there.

Ouch.. seems like most of the hottest artists are korean bands/singers.. and my favorits are so low on the list!! This is really some weird poll whatever... Jay Chou being on the 30th place is just unbelievable.. and I agree with angelanne... something is definitely not right in here... I also miss Wang Lee Hom, JJ Lin, Jolin Tsai... what's with them?

and boo, I wish newS would have placed higher but at least they made the top 30 and thats awesome!! ^_^

oh and how come its all korean at the top? maybe its cuz they sell more? but there are plenty of other artists who are just as hot and aren't korean! totally underappreciated -_-

Don't really care about the votes or who's on the top (though it does seem a bit biased and it'd be nice to see the magazine). The MOST IMPORTANT thing is I SEE MY GROUP UP THERE!!!

This list is a big joke, The nerve of these people to put up such a biased BS, people want facts not made up crap. I think the DSBK might be the only one that might be right in Asia.

A lot of Koreans on top! Kinda wished SS501 was on the list..what? Lollipop higher than Fahrenheit??? There's something wrong with that...Fahrenheit is much better in my opinion! And agreed, I'm surprised S.H.E is not on there...I thought they were more popular than Fahrenheit.

They are, SS501 is number 6

Woot no doubt DBSK (TVXQ) is on top but rest of the list is a little....?.? FRH on top of Arashi? and Jay Chou on the bottom??? There's lots of others too...
I think the voting is done by all of Asia's fans who spent with their credit cards?

actually there're a few evidences showing that Lollipop is a little more popular than FRH, but that's in Taiwan or Mainland. It's hard to understand that Lollipop's rank is higher than FLH's in Korea XD

and i think ARASHI is the most popular in JE ? but it seems not right here.

well, it's just about popularity. No need to be serious XD take it for fun.

Korean Magazine does a poll about the hottest stars in Asia and most of the artists on the list are Korean, what a surprise :rolleyes:

I'd like to see a list of most album sales in Asia, or a list of most revenue made from concerts. Something you can really quantify. Popularity polls don't mean that much, some fans are psycho and will vote over and over.

im not sure on others..but y some doubt on tvxq ranking number 1..its credit card spent..tvxq had their tour all over asia and their mirotic album sells soo much...
i mean if we calculate all their tour and stuff, i think they had that much...
