A Special Interview on DaS: My Marriage will be as Happy as XiaoS's


During the interview, DaS did not show a bit of boredom, always mentioning her family and not forgetting to show off her endorsing brand Tissot. This "ShanCai" does not make the atmosphere awkward, and even mentions her sisters marriage and her high profile relationship.

Nan: Many people still have you labelled as ShanCai, and the HK media have you labelled as "Jade Goddess," what do you think about that?
DaS: Actually, before i started acting, my sister and I were already hosting shows, but no one has ever called me a "Jade Goddess." In fact, many think of us as "Crazy Girls." My outter appearence seems pure and sweet, but I'm a really firm and stubborn, and i also like to joke. So, i think that the nickname "Jade Goddess" does not fit me nor describe me at all.

Nan: Then where do you position yourself?
DaS: If I was to really label myself something other then "Jade Goddess," then i would choose "Hot Vicious Girl." But this "Hot" menas my personality because I am quite mean and fierce, if talking about bodyappearance, my sister is much more sexier and hotter then me.

Nan: If you were to relate yourself to an animal, which would you choose?
DaS: Ive always thought that im like a rabbit. We have rabbits at home, and on the outside they are very cute and sweet, but they never listen and dont care about you; they are very malicious. They only let you pet them, but never hold them. I really enjoy watching animal documentaries, and recently, i found out about a type of "fox." Their personality doesnt have much sense of security, so they always think to protect themselves. They travel around and protect their family a lot, which reminds me of myself.

Nan: You are nearing 30 this year, does this give you more pressure, or more sense of happiness?
DaS: Actually, being 30 doesnt really have that big of an effect on me. When i was turning 20 back then, i really anticipated it because i felt that i was no longer a teenager; but when i actually turned 20, i didnt feel anything. I still liked the things I like, my hobbies were the same. I would hear the phrase "after turning 25, you will realize how old you really are" but when i turned 25 myself, you realize that it's not as big of a deal as everyone makes it to be. Although age is increasing, and time is passing, you find out that your appearance doesnt have a drastic change, so being 30 isnt really anything special.

Nan: "Entertainment 100%" is you and XiaoS two "Hot Girls" show for about 8 years, and XiaoS recently resigned, have you thought about leaving?
DaS: Actually, I've already taken a period off of "Entertainment 100%," even earlier then my sister. I always base my decisions on feeling, i must have an interest and enthusiam in order to do and complete the task. I've already hosted for 8 years, i think the audience is bored of me, feeling that i dont have that freshness anymore. So i wish to have a change of state, hoping that i can bring freshness to the audience in a different way.

Nan: If you dont focus on hosting, what will you focus on?
DaS: I think i need a break on hosting unless i get an inspiration or something. As of now, i will film movies. Half of hosting and half filming is too hard even though they are both on screen; the mood changes are too big and different. I cannot film then quickly go host for a show, then return back to filming, it is to unbalanced for me. But as of now, i am done filming, so i will go and discuss with my sister if i should host with her, or continue acting.

Nan: "Corner with Love," how is the filming for that?
DaS: This drama is filmed with XiaoZhu, and dont know why, but we have a lot of chemistry. It was originally supposed to be done filming in October, but it was finished filming today. Although it was a bit hard, but it went very smoothly. This is a sweet romantic comedy, and during filming it was very fun and amusing, im sure the audience will enjoy it.

Nan: When you first started you were a singer, but recently you have stopped that career, will you start again in the future?
DaS: I actually have this fear of entering recording studios. My and my sister wanted to become singers, so we would take singing lessons in the morning, then go to the recording studio to record, then we'd have to go promote. Back then i was really pressured and felt that being a singer isnt easy and has a lot of pressure. To this day, i still do not like entering recording studios, so i will be focusing on hosting and acting.

Nan: Is it because you have confident in you relationship with ZaiZai so you have the courage to make it high profile?
DaS: The media always has us labelled has having this "high profile relationship" but ive never done anything low-profiled before, but i didnt try and make our relationship high-profile on purpose. Before the media didnt follow me around all day, taking pictures or what not, but now, they tag along everyday, waiting and following you. They publish what they have, which is more then before, thats why people think it is "high profile." Plus, i dont like sneaking around, i do what i have to do on a regular basis, and my life has been the same, but they choose to publish more now.

Nan: Have you ever thought about focusing your life only on love, say for example, get married like XiaoS?
DaS: Since we were little, XiaoS and I would get scared by things people say, such as "Marriage is the grave of your love life." In the end, XiaoS got married and had a child, and she tells me "It's really fun." I see her life, and i see how happy and relaxed she is, and it's not like how other people said it to be. She is very happy with her husband, always sweet and living wih ease. That's why i think my marriage will be just as happy and lucky as XiaoS's.

Nan: Then will you have a limit on your marriage date?
DaS: I will live my life with ease like XiaoS, not let others tell me what i should do. But i will not rush things, such as get married, have children because i enjoy my work. If i enjoy my work, i will not stop. I will only stop when i find that it is not intersting anymore, so in the short future, i do not plan on getting married. But who knows, one day i may suddenly have the urge and craziness to get married right away.

Nan: Do you have any specific criteria for your husband?
DaS: I dont have a list like "My husband must meet these criteria" because has life progresses, you realize that there really isnt a goal, there isnt a fixed rule. Like XiaoS, before she said that her husband must be like this, have that, etc, but comparing with her husband, Mike, it is totally different.

Nan: Does he have to be as goodlooking as ZaiZai?
DaS: It depends on who i want to marry then, if i say now that i "must marry a super goodlooking guy" and then when time comes, i dont marry a goodlooking guy, then i will be laughed at.

Vic: We mutually teach and learn from each other. Quite often when a person is acting, they will totally engross themselves into the character and this is the time a second party should give more an unbiased advice. That’s why we visit each other on the film set, to help understand and take some pressure away. There’s no such principle of whom being older will be ultimately be the decision maker in the relationship. It’s the matter of reason, which’s more reasonable then we’ll listen to whom.

If her friends and my friends are to together, they’ll find that “is this what you call a gathering?” Because when I’m with my friends, we’ll just sit around, watch T.V, drink a little and don’t talk much for the entire afternoon. We enjoy that quietness but Barbie and her friends love to talk. I sometime participate in their conversations but most of the time I’m a listener.

Vic: I totally didn’t expect it. Before the filming, the producer just told me that they will ask a few questions about the relationship. So I kinda expect it, thought it’ll be just only a few questions. Haven’t thought that once the show start, they brought in a huge board with a lot of weird and hard questions. I was dumbfounded. But Dee is a very good show host, she just asked questions that she know what the audience wanted. She wouldn’t intentionally avoid sensitive questions just because we’re good friends. Actually, because we know each other so well that she’s more relaxed and asked questions that she’ll know that won’t upset me. We both understand that it’s part of a job so I don’t avoid answering questions, so I will chose to answer questions in an appropriate manner.

DaS wants to spend 200million on buying ZaiZai's painting


DaS and CaiZhiPing went to Japan twice to promote "Mars." Although ZaiZai did not come, DaS was all smiles and beaming as she held onto her lovers painting from the drama. This work of art showing ZaiZai's bare chest portrays the tragedy and hero of the drama, but during that time, "DaZaiLian" was not like it is now, it was still God-Brother and God-Sister.

The drama queen creator CaiZhiPing doesnt mind flying, and insists on only cooperating with Japan's PARCO company. Other then DaS, Japan's version of "Meteor Garden's" MeiZhou, AhBuLi, was also present. AhBuLi was born in HeiLongJiang so his mandarin is okay; the 3 chatted without languag barriers and discussed Asia entertainment.

"Mars" is currently being aired in Nagoya, Japan on ME TV. Although it is not their relationship piece of art because they were not dating during "Mars," the characters were very well portrayed and the feelings and relationships within the drama were very real. In the drama, DaS falls in love with ZaiZai who is a motorcycle racer, and the one scene that was very well done was when ZaiZai is staring at this painting of himself and turns around, unforgettable.

This piece of art portraying ZaiZai was sold to a Japan fan a while back for 100million Yen which was given to a charity. CaiZhiPing reveals that she and DaS want to buy back the painting for 200million, and give that to charity as well, but the original buyer refuses.

CaiZhiPing is now a star-level idol drama maker, and some fans even asked for her autograph, while screaming: "Thank you for bringing up F4!"

GTV proposed Barbie Hsu & Luo Zhi Xiang while Angie Chai appointed F4. In the end, F4 was voted & chosen to become ambassadors for Taiwan's tourism.

Ever since Jerry set up his own company, it is rumoured that F4 will not get together as a group for the time being. However, tourism board will gather the 4 of them, with a budget of NT90 million for this project. Spokesperson for Ministry of Communications stated, they had invited Zhang Hui Mei to endorse in the past to attract the South East Asia market.
