Tavia Haters Rating Options

I really hate Tavia after i watched TOB i totally hate her crying skills it's just sooo BAD!! Just curious if anyone else agrees with me?

I was okay with her before but now, don't really enjoy seeing her on screen. Wish she stays at supporting actress, something about her that makes me feel she doesn't have what it takes to carry the serie as a female lead, maybe just for minor serie but not for big production. I don't really like her expressions.

I know someone that met her in real life and said that she's very arrogant. Maybe it's true or maybe not bc she could've a bad day but somehow she has that look that makes me feel it's likely true..lol..k, that was alittle too bias...

yea her crying skills somehow deteroriated? in the viglante in the mask, she cried beautifully, but i saw her cry again in the academy and it was horrible!!! what happened??

Tavia is an okay actress. I really loved her in TOB, I thought her crying was fantastic, her performance was great. She was also great in Find the Light and Vigilante Force. But now, I'm not a fan of hers anymore. I don't hate her; I’m an inch to disliking her. Her crying in Shades of Truth and The Academy is horrific. She needs to work on her crying. I see no tears at all. All she does is sob and cringe her face together. I see no improvement after TOB. I watched half of TA(stopped watching it), The Prince's Shadow, Shades of Truth, and sorry to say this but she didn't improve one bit, she didn’t shine or impress me at all. The over promoting isn't helping either. I think I had enough of her for this year.

i don't hate her .. but im not so crazy about her like other actresses.. her acting is okay.. sometimes i don't really see any improvements from her.. first time i saw her in golden faith i just hated her..she was just so annoying in everyway.. tried to act cute but i just couldn't see her as a cute girl but i was impressed by her acting skills when i was watching viligant force. she did a great job.. she did pretty well in tob too..except her crying skills.. like even li qian can do way better than her! (she's way younger than tavia and she can already cry so well) .. for looks i won't say she's that pretty.. she looks pretty if she puts on makeup but soemtimes i find that her eyes are so tiny and just make her look ugly ( sorry to fans..) but i have seen pictures of her and she totally look so differnt compared to her nice pictures.

myolie is in The Gateau Affair, Scavender Paradise, Lost in the Chamber of Love, My Barbaric Mother-in-Law releasing soon.. so myolie and tavia has the same amount of series out this year!! myolie is leading in all her series while tavia plays second lead in yummy yummy, in TA tavia is the main character but she has less screen time than fiona and in Prince Shadow she's second lead and in Shades of Truth gigi was the lead!! so what are you talking about??

Yeah totally agree with you.

Raymond was a better couple with LiQian than Tavia in TOB but don't say that Tavia is bad. As an actress Tavia is better than LiQian because her real voice is not the same as the voice that TVB translated her.

In terms of beauty Tavia is the prettiest TVB actress.

Believe it or not, Tavia caught my eyes even when she was an extra, I remember watching the last episode of The Legendary Four Aces and I thought the girl kneeling in the temple beside Nick Cheung was really pretty in ancient cloths, and I recognized it being Tavia when she got a proper role!

I don't hate her, I remember I loved her in EH! But then, the loving started to die down as she took on more leading roles rather than supporting roles, possibly because as someone said above, Tavia just doesn't seem to have the charisma & strength to hold up a series and lead the show, don't get me wrong, I think her acting is probably the most stable and steadiest of the younger generations, but doesn't she give you the feeling that she's missing a specific "something" to lead?

There are situations like that where a person, let's say in my opinion like Tavia, who does have some acting skills & she can be classified as being pretty most of the time, but you won't feel that it's right when she's leading because you'll feel she doesn't have what it takes, that's the feeling she gives me, I loved most of her supporting roles(except Golden Faith & The Awakening Story, the characters were annoying), but I didn't like any of her leading roles at all, it actually made me feel quite negative against her when she took on leading roles. There are also situations vice versa to this, the person might not have the best acting skills or be the most beautiful one, but you would feel that his/her rightful place is in a leading role, but if otherwise, your reaction just might be, "What is he/she doing in a supporting role?"

Oh yes, the over-promoting doesn't help either, we mostly see her in every series, though it's not as extreme as the promotion of Myolie, but she's still being promoted a lot.

so? thats not my point.. im not saying that Tavia has more screen play..what im trying to say is that she's in a lot of series this year.. and all of them she has a big role.. a big role doesn't mean that she has to be like the top top actress in the series with lots of screen play.

I don't find Tavia extremely gorgeous. She does look pretty at some angles and some series. I prefer her with long hair. I'm starting to give a second thought whether to watch her leading series now.

Tavia was better as just supporting actress only. She is OK. But not good enough to be put as Lead Actress. She has that missing IT thingy going on, even Myolie stands out more than Tavia in all the series. As for acting skill, I think mabye because of her large and square structure face, she is not able to pull off that cuteness some actress can do. Which in terms makes her acting cute very horrible. Her crying skill is nothing worth noting and unemotioanl. Honestly, I don't feel anything when she cries at all.

I'm saying this as I'm watching The Academy & The Prince's Shadow right now, both series got Tavia. Well to be honest, I'm just so tired of watching her, her acting nor character doesn't stand out in both series. I don't think she can carry a series by herself, she's just a really typical actress. The only series I thought she was good in, was Vigilante Force. In all her other series, she's just .. a "normal" Tavia. Her chemistry with her male co-stars are all okay, she was good with Ray in TOB but still Ray & Li Qian got more chemistry going on. She doesn't look too good with Ron because she looks older than him IMO >.<

As for looks, she looks ugly in modern series, pretty in ancient series, its totally opposite. In TA, she looks so ugly, her face is too long, the hair just ain't right for her, there are bags under her eyes and her lips look weird. In TPS & TOB, she looks very pretty, maybe its the make-up but she did look reallyyyy pretty compare to her modern look.

Anyway, I don't think she has the charisma to be lead in a series, that series would be really boring T_T

TVB always promotes worthless people, it's pretty obvious. I'm not saying Tavia is not worth promoting. But please, promote her at a moderate spead. And why diss Li Qian in this thread?

I don't care if you hate Li Qian but make it in another thread. You're not really defending Tavia, more like just dissing Li Qian! You can't even pick on Qian acting but instead on her looks. If looks is all you can think of then you're sure one shallow person! People do get old. Looks don't stay!

I don't hate LiQuian as much as you do but your sooo right , if Tavia would'nt have the potential to be liked by the tvb series fans , then they won't promote her.

Personally I want her to me over-promoted so I can see her more.

Shes not a bad actor that's for sure. I don't hate her at all, but I can't say I love her acting. Her acting is likable to a certain extent, IMO, and I enjoy seeing her act than many other actresses that TVB promotes which have absolutely no skills at all. In TOB, yes the scriptwriter has made Li Qian more likeable than Ray with Tavia, but I believe it was just becuase the scriptwriter did a good job. Tavia is better for ancient series, I agree as well, her modern look is less likable.

dUUUUUUUUUUUh!!!! Why do you think the ratings are going down? (hint: BT) That is what many artist say, like Gigi Lai. And then, if you've red the comments on TVB forums, series like TGA have comments like : "Myolie is that bablabla" "Myolie is ugly" "Myolie my ass!" while I've never red that about Tavia before... so what did you say again? Complaints about bad cast? Maybe other series WITHOUT Tavia. Plus the plots are getting crappier every day, well that sounds like reasons for decreasing ratings!

And aren't many of you too fast with forming opinions about LiQian? I mean GGOOODDD!!! You've only seen her in ONE series and you're already sure that she's a top actress?? What if she's like ron, who can only portray one kind of sort? What if she can only act like cuties? I'll give a nice and simple reply - Tavia can act, she's pretty, she can cry a lot better than most actresses and I've seen her in such a diversity of roles. She has lead actress potential compared to girls like Myolie and Leila - so I really hope she gets further. I think you hate Tavia's 'character' in TOB, not the person. I want to see Tavia play a more interesting character hopefully.

I personally think Tavia was okay to starts off with and compared when she first came out, she did improve but after maybe TOB. Her acting has gone down probably b/c of doing serie after serie. Every series after that seems like she's acting for the purpose of acting. I don't feel anything for her character. Maybe if she doesn't do as much series, she can do a better job in it or maybe not.

Guest - And there is no way to tell if Tavia will become Jessica or Ada. For now, I don't see any charisma about her to be like them but who knows, maybe she wil! Only time can tell, until then, that is just a dream, not a reality. This thread is a critic on Tavia, if you want to start one on Qian, you're welcome to but not here!
Just can't help but comment on one thing. You said that we only watched her in one serie and claimed she's good right? What about you? You've only watch one serie of her and claimed she's annoying and hated her. lol..And for your information, I've watched couple of her other series and her acting is just as good as in TOB if not better.

As far as I know, she's arrogant! I used to be her fan, thought she was sweet but was I so wrong!! After seeing her in real life, really dislike her now. She's really fake.

I agreed with Niki, Tavia's acting is getting worse and she is not even good looking in modern serie. I only watch her serie b/c of the other casts, not for her. Her crying skill is a joke, it's way below average!

First off, this thread is about Tavia and not about other actress. And for those who are her fan and are not intelligent enough to defend her without putting insults or brining other actresses down (like Li Qian) then I have no advise for you.

As for Tavia herself, lookwise she's normal. Acting wise normal and plain. Lack leading role charisma and onscreen presence. Crying skill could definitely need alot of improvement. Except for a few actress in TVB, most TVB actresses really need to work on this crying skill area. They are very terrible. Sometime s I feel as though the director had to put onion skin in front of them to make them cry.

That just in your opinion, I think she's just average looking. BTW, all actresses have their nice pictures! Why just post the nice ones? I can find way ulgier one of Tavia, the one that really shows her squinty eyes!! but don't even want to waste my time to upload her pictures! Also why post the old pictures. They seems like last year, what about the one this year! She looks way older imo. She's really average in terms of look, acting etc.

Posting her pictures here isn't going to change our mind b/c we all do know how she looks like and as you can see this is a hater thread. None of us that dislike her would want to see her pictures here. It's like if I post pictures KC/YC in a KC/SN thread, I am sure you'll be very annoyed.

Well seriously I won't because I actually like KC&YC more than KC&SN in TOB. And LiQuian's really pretty and cute in her way too. But I never heard her real voice , don't really know what she sound like hehe.Heard she has an new series with Sunny Chan, I'm looking towards it.

I know you guys don't want me to talk here but like , I just can't hold myself to see what people writes lol. I just want to know. I won't dish any other actress just to protect Tavia. I know she's not the best actress , I know that its not everyone that finds her pretty. But I do , and just want to say that , that's all.

I won't talk anymore unless someone insult her. Even in a Hate Thread , there's should'nt be any insulting. Even if you don't like her don't insult her. (I didn't say someone did yet , but just if someone does )

i totally HATED her in Golden Faith!! like, i'm not even joking...but then later watched Eternal, n she was better. Not sure if Golden Faith came first or EH, but i'm kinda late in watchn' tvb series anyways. -__-" ..but yhea, but when i got to see her live in toronto, i liked her. she seemed really nice, and extrem'ly PRETTY!!! however, when i watched TOB, i hated her again! i'm weird, i know, but whatever. maybe it's because i just hate her with Raymond, probably because i'm a BIG BIG BIG RM fan..n hate RT. Plus, i still think her acting isn't that great, she seems kinda dead...like.. nothing special..but one thing i must say is that she is really really pretty!! especially live!

I used to dislike tavia, sick of seeing her EVERYWHERE. But as time goes by, i'm starting to become neutral to her. It's no doubt that i think she has a plain natural pretty face and has potential. Among the new actress,you can really feel that she's quite good. My expectation for everyone is ok so when people complain about "Michelle's so stiff","Ron is just like a wodden block" etc, i'm puzzled. Of course, i like ron and michelle so don't come whacking me.(Just making example) I know tavia can act since she has the experience with her cameo times. The reason i don't like her is because i'm sick of seeing her everywhere i go and also, i somehow think that she's...ok,remember there's once a article about Ron+nancy taking picture but tavia pull ron away from nancy?

Their fans say it looks like it's ron who pull tavia. If you look carefully, if you're ron and taking picture with nancy. You pull tavia,aren't you standing at your own spot? But if it's tavia pulling you then you'll move from your spot. If you people have the free time,do find that article and think about what i say. From the position of where they're standing determines that tavia "snatch" ron away from nancy.

I'm not insulting tavia, just think that it's unfair how the fans say,as if it's ron's movement. I would like the see the scene where you people say she cries beautifully, is it alright? Regardless of clip or screencapture. Her crying in TOB looks fine to me. Oh, i'm interested to see one of tavia's not pretty pictures since i do find her pretty. No offence.
