I think Jerry & Ms Lin have an "underground" relationship, this is very common in showbiz where most couples dont want their private affairs to be dissected by the media.

Anyway, there is a saying that "there is no smoke without a fire". If the media has continued to link both of them together despite both parties denying it, there shld be something to arouse the media interest.

A Shanghai-based newspaper said reports that Lin had fractured six ribs in the accident were not true.

Lin issued a statement Sunday to clarify her condition and express her gratitute to her fans' concern.

Bao Long, LZL - Relationship Repaired?

LZL's rumoured boyfriend Jerry Yan, was at Zhong Zheng Airport yesterday. It was rumoured that he was going to Da Lian to visit injured girlfriend LZL. Smiling, Jerry admitted: "I have already called LZL". Then he said: "I'm going to Phillipine Cebu, I have some activities there."

Jerry and LZL's rumour has been going on for 3 years, dating, seeing movies and even pictures of them in bathrobes have been seen making their relationship rumours even more puzzling. i do not like ms lin at all, but its hard not to admit -- they look good together. both are physically very attractive, tall and look like models. Their kids would look perfect, if they ever had any.

I like this couple. Confirmed facts about Jerry & Lin:

1. They both admit openly that they knew each other before either of them were famous - hard working young models.

2. They both openly admit that they are "good friends" - many many times on different occasions in print media & on tv.

3. They both openly encourage each other's careers - Lin's "Jia You3x!" to Jerry (very sweet & funny ), Jerry's comments about Lin's good figure Azio tv interview last year, Lin congratulate Jerry on his award in Shanghai early this year (Jerry did not attend) etc.

4. They have gone out with each other many times:
- watching movie: both explained that they were with several other friends,
- Lin was photographed with Jerry late at night & leaving his place at 8.00 am the next morning - both did not deny & just explained that they just spent the time talking & watching dvds (can believe / not ?!)

5. When Jerry was asked to explain the relationship last year, he said: "We are good friends. But I don't want to say anything more, because if we are photographed again together, people will say we are lying" - meaning he is not admitting or denying anything more than friendship at that point. This also means that he won't give up meeting with her ! In a tv interview last year, Lin also confirmed that she & Jerry have been good friends for a long time, and she won't give up seeing him just becoz fear of gossip. I like their loyalty - as friends, if not boyfren-gurlfren .

Conclusion: I think they're kinda unique becoz of this long-standing loyal friendship thru the years. I hope they always maintain it no matter what. It's also great that they haven't changed towards each other now that each is rich & famous ....

About this recent media-fuelled gossip on Lin's accident, my personal opinion:

1. I think Jerry did go to the hospital. Reasons:

a. The photo of him from the back, wearing white shirt/dark brown pants/black bag/black cap walking into the hospital room is clearly recognisable (Most Jerry fans know his back & his walk ). Some reports have suggested that it is a pic of him walking into a hotel room, but anyone can tell from the door & surroundings that it is definitely a hospital & not the posh look of a hotel!

b. Secondly, the fact that his best mate Tang Guo Zhong was there in a black shirt which they later switched. I saw another photo today in Star of a guy walking OUT of the hospital room in white shirt & brown pants - altho blurred, can tell that this is NOT Jerry. They had already switched shirts. Guo Zhong has the same height, broad shoulders, long hair of Jerry. They look so alike at first, I thot he was Jerry's older brother. But Jerry is a little slimmer than Guo Zhong.

c. The conflicting statements of Lin's Mama - if she had said firmly outright from the start that Jerry never came, I would believe her. But she said no, then when reporters showed her Jerry's pic, she changed & said: " I was busy in the room & did not notice this person" - pretty funny when you know even a first class hospital room is not very big & can definitely see all visitors in the room no matter what you are doing ! Obviously, she is not an "experienced" media manipulator ! Poor Mama.

d. Thirdly, Jerry's management said that he was in Korea. There are no direct flights from Taiwan to China becoz of the politics. He would have to transit either at HK / Seoul / Tokyo to go to China. The most common way is via HK. So the media immediately assumed that Jerry would fly to Dalian, China after returning from his fans-event in Cebu on 15th July, via HK. But he is too smart to be so obvious. So instead Jerry returned home to Taiwan on the 16th July - there were fans waiting for him at Taiwan airport. I think he took the flight to Seoul and then to Dalian from the 17th - 19th (when he went missing & his own management / the White Tower crew couldn't find him).

e. White Tower re-started filming again on the 20th July. Jerry's management confirmed that he had been to Korea. This is perfectly true - he HAD been in Korea, but what for? (We know what for !). Jerry never explained / commented / answered. Only said : Wu liao la, and smiled.

In other words, it's his business what he wants to do on his off days! Jerry = 1, media = 0 !!!!

2. But a lot of the other stuff is rubbish created by media (I think!): buying a house for Lin, buying a dog for Lin, buying KiKi Lala etc - obvious that people trying to cash in on Jerry-Lin mania !


That's my conclusion from the recent media circus "Operation: Dragon Hunt" - what do you guys think?

agree. i am pretty sure that he did visit her in dalian, even the taiwanese media cant concoct something this extreme. Plus when the reporters interviewed Mrs. Lin she said 'i don't know, i didnt see him' thats almost as good as admitting that he was there.

SIMPLE FACT: we'll never know FULL STOP. If you choose to believe all the gossip, rumours, "i heard so & so say...", "my brother works at Sony & he said...", "i saw Jerry at a nightclub and ...." blah blah blah......, and call this "proof", then this is more evidence of the type of person you are than the so-called "truth".

I like an actor / singer because of his talent and sometimes his looks. But I never have any illusions about their private lives. As long as they are not criminals / murderers / rapists / child abusers etc, then it's their business. Gossip is fun, but it's silly to take it seriously because the "truth" only they & God will know. All I know about Jerry is his "public" side - the actor, the singer, the group member of F4 who are fun & funny whenever they are together, the shy smile & dimple, the warm & kind manner with fans. Poor Jerry, the real problem is he is too handsome, too rich, too lucky, too famous too fast. There are people out there who just can't accept all this in one person. People keep inventing more and more things about him. He is wise to just stay quiet & not respond.

I just want to point out that the gossip has got more "creative" - at first, it's just that he's gay. Then when it was proven that he has had a girlfriends in his past (See Happy Sunday tv programme last September), they say he likes both girls & boys!!! Hahaha, what's next? that he likes animals??!! I know the mother always wants the best for the daughter, but I can't help but think that she's being a little narrow-minded. I don't know, maybe she knows something about the two men that we don't.
