Gosh look at the title " abandoning Wu Chun and whispering closely with a male model" the media really knows how to introduce eye-catchy titles. I love the outfit Angela wore in the pics, especially the top, it makes her looks sexy since it reveals s small mole near her collarbone, at the same time look cool. Angela looks perfectly nice in that outfit, she should wear more stuff like these. Although dresses make her look elegant, they also make her look extremely skinny sometimes.
Who is the male model? he looks quite hot. Ooh ooh, Mr Wu, where are you?

For the Bobson commercial, I agree with mimoann I like the outfit she has on. THat's because the top of it is kind of puffed (if you get what I mean) so it doesn't make her look too skinny... sometimes, she wears dresses or really tight tops and it makes her look really skinny.. But seriously, that photoshoot she's got is really pretty!!! She's just getting prettier and prettier.. Heee. That's really funny how it says she's abandoned Wu Chun... hahahahaa, wait is the guy whispering into her ear the director?

Choco Thanks for the adorable picture of Ang~! I you! I love that little wig and how it's so not symmetrical!! Bump Off Lover is a 2006 drama... she was her last drama before RP.. and it's really good. If you want to know more, you can check out the thread.. but Angela had to act as three different characters.. two twins and one of the twins had a split personality so three.. it's pretty good but kind of scary!! Do tell me how you like Pandora after you listen to it!! =]

JackyFans Hey!!! I like that song too!!! Actually, I love them all.. but still, it's a cute song. I don't get it, some people say that she's soooo fake or that she tries to sing too cute.. But we all know that she's got a beautiful and powerful voice.. and she's very natural (CHUN even said that!!!!) So there we go!!! Maybe people are just jealous of her, right? Hahahaa, well, do come back more!!!

I've been thinking about RP and I think that Angela still needs to improve on some of her "acting cute skills".. at times, it's a little too exaggerated.. but it's not to a point where I can't stand her. She's good at acting, nevertheless. Though, call me biased, I still have to say her acting in Bump Off Lover was the best... but I can see her improving in the scenes where she has really intense emotions.

　　她说，音乐无时无刻不在她的生命中，5月19日她又将来到上海大舞台，参加 “Johnnie Walker为走向世界举杯演唱会”，她承认自己的幸运，“我知道其实有很多人唱歌比我好，也比我经历更多，更努力，但他们还是默默无闻，还是渴求着成功的机遇，所以我要更珍惜，这是我的心里话。”


幸福的背后是压力
　　张韶涵说现在的她是幸福的，可以唱喜欢的歌，可以靠自己的能力赚钱孝敬妈妈，可以享受到歌迷的掌声和鲜花，可是背后的压力和困惑也时常伴随着，她说这比较不像是她之前想象的，“没有进这一行，你真的不知道会这样辛苦，要付出这么多的精力和时间，有时身心疲惫，你根本不想做任何事，如果是普通人，可以跟老板请假休息一天，可是我不行，几个月前早已定好的行程我必须去赶，哪怕我发烧了，也得到现场，不然就会被说是耍大牌，如果一个艺人的艺德受到质疑，这是最不好的事了，以后谁还敢请你？谁还敢和你合作？”
　　长期的超负荷的工作和紧张的压力，这个身材单薄的女孩终于病倒了。2006年10月，在苏州演唱会的舞台上，歌唱到一半，张韶涵的左耳忽然蒙住了什么也听不见。坚持唱完全场后，她下台呕吐不止，人连站都站不起来。“我当时吓坏了，以为就此耳聋，因为听力对一个歌手而言太重要了。”还好，医生诊断后告诉她这只是“美尼尔氏症”，由内耳不平衡、工作压力太大、神经失调引起，放松心情充分休息就能痊愈。之后，她就给自己放了个小假，彻底放松和调理，“那段日子虽然耳朵不舒服，但也的确放松了很多，不用去想每天的工作，不用去想明天该飞往哪里，真的很自在。”
　　前段时间，八卦媒体们纷纷爆出了张韶涵的妈妈和张镐哲的绯闻，小心翼翼地向她问起，她并没有不高兴，只是很无奈，“我自己是艺人，艺人对压力的承受力比一般人来得高，自己会调节，可是身边的人没有我这样的承受力，这件事弄得我妈妈很不高兴，那我自然也不会快乐，所以希望这种无聊的传言以后不要再有了。”


钻戒不一定要男人送
　　采访间，注意到她左手中指戴有一枚相当夺目的钻戒，赶紧问她是否是男朋友送的，她瞪大眼睛，马上澄清：“这是妈妈送给我的。是上次演唱会之后给我买的，算是份礼物吧。”在她看来，钻戒并不一定非得男朋友送，“自己有钱也可以买啊，戒指也是装饰物，并不一定非得有爱情的含义，不过每个见过的朋友几乎都会好奇地问我，呵呵。”
　　出道这几年，和她有过合作的男艺人不少，但绯闻几乎没有，她说大概是她太乖巧了，所以就算制造绯闻别人也不太相信，“他们都会把我当妹妹吧。反正我才25岁，也不着急啊，一个人也挺好。”
　　在现场有不少参加好男的帅哥选手，问她喜欢哪一类型，她笑着列出理想偶像的条件：“我喜欢活泼型的，又要有个性，又要有白马王子的温柔。”她透露自己是期待被保护的女生，所以喜欢给人安全感的男生。接下来即将要拍一部偶像剧《公主小妹》，和吴尊合作，可在她看来，像吴尊这样帅的男生只适合欣赏，而不适合做男友，“那么帅，每天会担心别人来抢他啊，那多累，还是欣赏好了，做朋友挺好的。”

Hey Choco! Yeah, they are pretty cute.. though Angela's soooo pretty... and they've both got big eyes.. I think Angela matches with anyone who has big eyes. lol. Yeah, the RP ending theme song is definitely really good and really pretty. And I finally realized that the lyrics match the drama very well. =]
I don't know why she's crying in that photoshoot.. hmmm, maybe some guy left her? teee hee, wow ONLY 3 minutes???? I remember when she did her first drama, My MVP, it took her almost a day to cry.. and she almost got fired from it because she was sooo terrible. She's sooo amazing.

Choco: Ang had to over act in RP cuz it's comedic in some parts and she said she wanted to do RP cuz her critics said she can't do comedy. *In my opinion: I think that was critics' b.s. I mean it's so much harder to do drama and come off as convincing whereas comedy is do anything to make ppl laugh.*

Just watched the Bobson advert on youtube...

Wow, Angela was great ... in the final shot, you could see the tears in her eyes even as she smiled.
She must have pleased the director!!

I have watched all her serials - MVP, Dolphin Bay, Bump off Lover and now am watching RP. To me she is definitely one of the better dramatic actresses around. (Althou I didn't really like her look in MVP)

However, as much as I admire her acting abilities, she doesn't really act 'cute' that well yet. i mean she can act lovable and sweet but somehow not cutesy. I think I feel this way becos I am comparing her to Rainie and Cyndi who can act cute very convincingly. She can improve though, if she wants.

As for comedy, I think she has good comedic timing. She's more natural in the comic moments than all the exaggerated acting we get from the jap butler guy, the maids and the extras.

Anyway, my favourite Angela serial is still Bump Off Lover.

Sandy Yeah, I thought Lu Ting Wei was really cute... even though Bump Off Lover was more of a mystery (?) drama.. I really wish there were more moments of him and Angela... it just didn't seem enough for me... WeiHan moments? hahaha. Oh Yeah! I've seen those commercials.. but is it just me or do they not show him enough? They flash by his face.. of course, Angela is pretty so I don't mind.. hahaaa... but still, I really liked seeing them together. Yeah, her english pronounciation is good... it's just NOT great, but definitely better than a lot of people ... yay for angela!!! I liked the Zhen De MV with him, too!! It was kind of sad though.. Bobson is a Japanese co. and it's common to air Japanese-related products commercials in TW (e.g. Lotte gum, Lucido-L). The fact that older generations of TW knows Japanese is a plus (e.g. my grandma).

I agree with you about acting cute.. like I said in an earlier post, I find that it's a little exaggerated and not natural... or really, i should say there's always room for improvement. but it's nothing of the sort where it makes me cringe.. she's got the basic acting skills hands down. I really hope Angela can take on another drama... I feel that RP is good, but the story was rushed, the filming was rushed, too.. and I'm hoping for something where she can showcase her talents more!!! I'm waiting for a series or movie that'll be better than Bump Off Lover.. I loved that one sooo much.. and she was superb in there!

Sandy Yeah, I'd always replay the scenes with Angela and Lu Ting Wei.. tee heee, I didn't like the other guy as much and I knew he was suspicious from the beginning!!!! lol. Since I have been watching RP live on PPS, I've been seeing Angela's Bobson CM. It's really nice. She also looks really pretty in there. When the guy whispers, "I love u" in Japanese... I was just reading to melt. It was a really good CM.

Thanks for the news clip. I thought Angela was very natural, unpretentious and sincere and it just made me like her more... [bcos of some silly rivalry with Ella over RP, some people have accused her of being arrogant].

I like the fact that she says she is like everyone else, waiting for the 'true' love that only fate will bring. Yeah, and i feel the media should give her some privacy so that she can at least try to have a relationship with someone. I can see why sometimes she's considered "arrogant." Angela loves to joke and she can be very sarcastic...how come Asian ppl don't understand sarcasm!? It's like a way for ppl to break the ice sometimes. And sometimes she would be "okay, you win...I won't say it" in a sarcastic way. (for e.g. when Show was saying something overly dramatic on 100% entertainment). I remember she called herself "inconsiderate young'in" when she called FanFan when FanFan was doing an on-camera interview. It was cute. I find it ppl just need to chill on every lil' thing she says.

Yes that is the rivalry I am referring to. CE fans seem to see her as a rival for either the CE chemistry or Chun's 'affections'! Sometimes I'm not sure whether they are talking about real life or 'reel' life.

Anyway, it doesn't affect me one bit. I have been a fan of Angela since Dolphin Bay (especially loved her acting in 'Bump off Lover') and I think Ella is also a pretty good actress. Ella acted really well in 'The Rose'. Thot she had good chemistry with Huang ZhiWei and especially Joe Cheng.

More importantly, I started admiring Angela's acting skills but I am really beginning to like her singing too. Thanks for introducing her music to me in this thread.

Plus I reeeaaally think she looks cute dressed as a female cupid!!

Thanks judy and francesca for those pictures!! I'm serious, she is getting prettier and prettier by the day... I loved her outfit and her hair in those pictures.. so simple yet soo pretty! I really hope that she can find "Mr. Right" so that she can have someone to rest on at times. This girl is sooo hardworking.. and sometimes, she gets criticized by other people.. when half of the times it isn't her fault. Love all the hardwork she's put into everything... judy Agreed!!! I didn't even get the rivalry.. it was pretty one-sided if you ask me. Chun didn't get blamed. Angela got blamed for being paired up with Chun.. how is that her fault? Okay, moving on.I know.. people say that she's fake and they hate her personality.. but I think that's just cause she's a bit different. She's not always buttery sweet (that's what you call sweet).. she's silly and goofy and at times, likes to joke around and be sarcastic. but that's the way she breaks the ice and gets to know others.. that's how her and chun became really good friends too.. people need to give this girl a break... she's such an AMAZING singer and actress. and I wish people could see the hardwork she's put in.. that's all she's been trying to achieve for 10 years... becoming a singer.. and i'm really proud of her....

Yes, Angela attended the Singapore Hit Awards. She won 4 awards:

- Best Performing Female Artist
- Best All-Rounder Artist
- Best Stage Charismatic Performer
- Best Image Artist

She sang 2 songs, 不痛 and C大调. Haha... it's great to see her performing, and with Wu Chun looking at her down the stage too. Too bad they did not sit together, with the rest of Farenhit and Tank in between them.

I'm just doing a rough translation..

On the night of the awards, Angela Chang were 17 cm Jimmy Choo shoos that were designed for her when performing "Bu Tong", her feet "hurt" a lot.. (note: Kind of funny since the song was titled "not hurt".. hahahaa ).

When she competed in singing competitions in Canada, she'd learn from them. Now that she's competing with them on the same level, she feels really happy.

Usually able to walk all day in 15 cm heels, tonights Angela in 17 cm heels almost had an accident that even made her record company people nervous and they made her change into another pair of heels for performance of "C Major".
