Angela turns Call into Cry

Korean music has always been a class of its own and many singers like making cover versions of Korean songs to land a hit. After Jeff Chang offered his rendition of Bright Moon Shine, it's the turn for Taiwanese princess Angela Chang to present her version of Korean TV series Jae Dang Geum's inserted song Call, whose Chinese title has been named Cry. Viewers of the aforementioned series no doubt are familiar with the background theme that was played whenever the series' female protagonist was fixing all the delicious cuisine. The hu la la sounds of the featured children choir were nothing else than the song called Call that was later re-written to become Angela's Cry.

　　张韶涵即将推出的新专辑中，主打歌「MaMa MaMa」歌词提到了妈妈爱碎碎念，导演刻意安排化身为白雪公主的张韶涵，被拿着红苹果的坏皇后追逐，一直到MV最後才发觉原来只是了一场梦！

　　张韶涵觉得导演引用这个世界知名的童话故事，来暗喻亲子关系实在太妙了，因为当她做完梦醒来後，对照出现实世界的妈妈其实是非常温柔体贴，会更加爱自己的妈妈。

　　这首融合了Soul、Funk、摇滚，流行与复古并容曲风的新歌，最有趣的是歌中各种撒娇、呢喃、小Rap等各种合声，都是张韶涵唱的，光是合声，就花了张韶涵整整两天的时间录音，比唱正式的歌还花时间，此外MV导演黄中平为了呈现歌曲中小摇滚的风味，特别找了一个女子乐团「牙套」和张韶涵一起演出，正在学吉他的张韶涵虽然只学会几个和弦，也卖力跟着乐团一起弹奏，一不小心指甲应声折断！

　　出外景时，一旁溜滑梯上的玩耍小孩们，看到穿着纱裙，拿着红苹果站在镜头前的张韶涵时就说，这个在拍白雪公主耶！』让所有工作人员哑然失笑，MV的内容怎麽那麽简单就被这群孩子识破呢？张韶涵索性逗起这些小孩说，才不是呢！我们是在拍小蜜蜂，等我吃了苹果後，屁股会长出蜜蜂刺喔！

Angela Chang Has a "Swan" Mama?

Asking her mom to stop nagging her in her latest track Mama Mama, Angela Chang Shao-han, accepting the suggestion of her record company, intended to ask her own mother to make a special appearance on her music video. The mother, who is labelled by her daughter as a "full-time swan" who nags days and nights, is however too shy to play a part. Still other names such as In Sung and Rain from Korean have been added to the guest list in the MV.

Angela's new album "Aurora" is so awesome! I think her singing improved a lot since "Over the Rainbow". She sounds so much more mature and her voice is smoother on the higher notes. I love her songs "Mama Mama" and "Aurora" on the CD. Did anyone else get it yet?

she has indeed change a lot.. not v attracting in mvp but after filming more serials like dolphine bay, she has become prettier... like her first album v much esp yi shi de mei hao.. her second album AURORA is fantastic.... heard tat she has replaced evonne as the yi jie in UNIVERSAL MUSIC...

i already heard her new album aurora..it's very different from Over the rainbow..she kinda changed her vocal stylings..the style suits her voice..i believe Aurora already reached gold? but one thing..i kinda liked the songs in Over the Rainbow more..i dont know..i got the OTR songs in my head after about 3x playing it..but this one Aurora..im still to "digest" the songs blush

I remember...I went and bought her CD without even knowing who she was...I just randomly felt like buyin a Cd (rainbow)....I put it in the Cd player of my car..and i was like..OMG who's this girl she's good...and then when her 2nd CD Aurora came out I had to get it...i was in taiwan and I listened to it in like a CD store and yeah got it...hehehe...can't wait to get the next CD
