With a mixture of dance and romance, this drama broadcasted in the year 2004, and has a total of 17 episodes. Its opening theme song was Feng Yun Bian Se(Changing Colors of the Winds and Clouds) by 5566&K-One, and its ending theme song was Bei Ying(Shadow) by K-One.


Synopsis
The Dynasty Chuan Bo Royal Dance Group has won the right to represent Asia in a much revered dance competition, the Babylon Temple Dance Competition. To ensure the best chances of winning, Dynasty Entertainment has invited a past Babylon Temple winner, Mo Ni Ka to help out. In addition, the dance group is also joined by a new, highly talented student, Tian Xie. However, Tian Xie's cold, unfriendly stature has made him incompatible with the other members. What happens when a young village girl who loves to dance as much as them, Xiao Ying, happens to mix with this group because of a misunderstanding with Tian Xie? And what caused Dynasty Entertainment to get blamed of plagarism? Is it because of Xiao Ying?

As Tian Xie
Tian Xie is just like his name - acts alone, tends to be sharp. A shining dazzling star in the dance circle. He is lonely because he stands at the highest point in the world without any rivals. He finally meets his match in Qing Tian, who has a strong force flowing through his blood stream. Tian Xie attempts to let his ruthless dancing die away completely and then reborn. He is cold because he needs to protect his wounded heart. In the deepest part of his heart, there is a wound that would often ache but which he can never break away from. Until the innocent and naïve Xiao Ying accidentally charges into and awakens the bare feelings within Tian Xie's heart. Tian Xie and Qing Tian's "face-off" with each other is their fate. Qing Tian's strong force causes one to be unable to gasp for breath. They are natural born rivals. These two rivals face off with each others' fiery life on top of the Forbidden City. Battling on their dance moves and also on love. A heroic battle is about to unfold…

As Qing Tian
Qing Tian is just like his name. It's like the warm sunshine that shines down on your on a winter day ~ an intense, bright light. Dancing is an explosive force that flows the strongest through his blood streams. Being the eldest apprentice brother in the Jia Jiang Tuan, it is left to him to carry the glory and the responsibility of the group and to lead his younger group members to charge bravely ahead. He is a natural born hero, a modern day Ling Hu Chong (hero from Jin Yong's martial novel, State of the Divinity aka Xiao Ao Jiang Hu). There is one dream in Qing Tian's heart. He dreams of leading Jia Jiang Tuan down a path of their own. He dreams of standing in the center of the world with his apprentice sister, Xiao Ying because Xiao Ying is everything to him. She is someone that he loves the most whom he wants to protect for the rest of his life. Qing Tian and Tian Xie's "face-off" with each other is their fate. Tian Xie's brilliant rays causes one to suffocate. He is a powerful enemy in Qing Tian's life. These two rivals face off with each others' fiery life on top of the Forbidden City. Battling on their dance moves and also on their love because there is only one King and only one love.

Qiao Qiao

As Xiao Ying
Lively, mischievous, always getting into trouble and always taking risks. Jia Jiang Tuan is her happy world. Her eldest apprentice brother, Qing Tian, is her heaven - just like a guardian angel that will help support the world for her. Because of Tian Xie's appearance, this causes an undying love to open up in Xiao Ying's simple life. Xiao Ying is deeply attracted to Tian Xie's talent and proudness. She feels Tian Xie's loneliness, his grief. She understands Tian Xie and what's even more, she bravely falls in love with him even though she knows that the person who has always stayed by her side and protected her is Qing Tian. Tian Xie and Qing Tian's fate in battling in the Forbidden City for their dance moves and for love causes Xiao Ying to be stuck in the middle and suffers painfully. Because there is only one king, she must choose whose side she will stand beside.

Zhang Si Ping

As Aki
Royal Dance Group's princess. She admits that she will forever by the female leading lady. She has a habit of using her willfulness to hide her desire for love within her heart. Aki is infatuated with Tian Xie's mysteriousness yet Tian Xie treats Aki with coldness and sharpness. Aki understands that this is a love that she will never be able to wait for. When Qing Tian's help and care becomes the most glittering sunshine in Aki's life, her desire for love in her heart finally breaks free. Even though Aki understands that the person that Qing Tian deeply loves is Xiao Ying, yet she is stubborn and she warmly pursues Qing Tian. She understands that only love and sincereness will be able to change this world.

Wang Shao Wei

As Fire
Fire is just like his name - as fierce and violent as fire. Blazing, he has to always be number one and never number two. This is the arrogant personality that Fire has. He and Aki are a favorable couple within the Royal Dance Group. Fire is also the brave warrior that uses love to guard Aki, yet on the front of love and dancing, he meets up with two powerful opponents at the same time ~ Qing Tian and Tian Xie. Fire battles maddeningly. His arrogant ways causes him to lose his love, lose the stage, lose his sincereness, lose his friends. Fire is a natural born tragic hero. He is as fierce as fire and burns himself out. It's just that he meets the wrong people at the wrong time. He uses his life to persist an eternal glow.

i'm up to the 2nd chapter... i find it quite interesting... hmmm... dancing moves... nice

more than 20 people sang in the soundtrack of this series, 5566, K One, R&B, 7F, Toro etc.

as far as i know 7F are 7 girls, if i'm not mistaken zaizai and xiao jiao of R&B is there, man tou, wang yu jie don't know the others

This series hasn't released in my country yet but my friend ( in Phil)was watching it 2 months ago, so i think it ended.

yes! it ended last Sunday and it has to be one of the best endings ever! my friends and I were all telling one another that there has to be a part 2 of this great series!

i personally wouldn't wish for a part 2, i got bored already halfway, the first few episodes get me very excited but through the middle, it became predictable for me

Is Gino the leader of K1? It seem like that he took all the spotlight in this series, there's no one talk about JR

he is the official leader of k one, and he's probably considered better looking? i dunno, but i think he is and jr usually sings more, probably because he has better vocals

i just started waching it and i find it really nice.i like their dance moves and i think Gino looks a but like Ambrose Xu from some points

gino can be good looking or ugly lol but ppl usually think he's ugly =[

I watched up to the 17th eps. for this series when I was at Taiwan this summer. I loved it. I think the 17th eps. was the end... it seemed like it when I saw it. I'm pretty sure they're gonna do a 2nd season. I really liked how they used dance moves as fighting. Very cool.

can anyone tell me who xiao ying chooses to be with in the end? it's showing on subscription tv here in malaysia so i can't jump straight to the ending. it's tian xie, isn't it?

sounds quite comical! i guess tht means qing tian rejects aki huh? poor aki. i think she's really cute. in fact everyone in the series is quite cute... well except for fire and tht bad guy... forgot his name.

the scriptwriters should've given someone to qing tian in the end. he's such a nice guy. but too many happy endings would be an overkill, huh?

yay, i finally finished watching the entire series! i kept laughing during the ending cos i remembered what orange said bout ppl kissing under vans, on trucks and qing tian running around with no girl. i also liked the part where qing tian brought xiao ying to royal star to meet tian xie while aki n fire were pushing tian xie to meet xiao ying. can't believe i'm actually saying this but tian xie looked so cute there.

To milo: Aki is also in Snow Angel.In that series, she loves Toro, however, he rejects her because he only loves Margaret.
