This is kinda random but does anyone notice that there's alot of items being recycled in rainie's advertisements and guest appearances. I mean like the single long earring she wore in ideal lover is in the previous clarins ads and also the white boots she wore were from dby. Also, some of her outfits from her mv's and ads are being worn for her appearances?? Sorry, I'm not from Asia, is this the norm? Anyways, I still like mike and rainie...

not to criticize or anything, maybe bcuz taiwan ppl dont haf much funds? i didnt no about Rainie, but now that u mentioned it, there's also the tw band F.I.R. ( 飛兒樂團 ), and like u said about Rainie, F.I.R. also use "recycled items" for public appearances and such...

but if u look at singers/actors from HK, they definitely haf a hell lot of change of clothes and stuff..

so the problem u talked about might be because of tw's economy?

Though i have only watch a couple of episode from DBY, i think that Rainie and Mike make a very cute couple.

I think it's probably because tw artists don't like wasting, and prefer recycling what they wear...the earring u are talking about is probably Rainie's own, so of course she would want to continue wearing it. And sometimes the clothes she wears to special functions which have already been worn in mvs and such might be due to that the function is related. Like for example, I see Rainie wearing that white dress and boots to alot of the promotional appearances for her album, and that was the style for her album, so she wears that dress and boots to all the promotional functions of her album I've seen some other tw artists recycle what they wear, not just rainie, it's perfectly normal
While in comparison, HK artists prefer to wear new clothes every time...it's kinda like wasting clothes to me I mean, if the clothes u wear are still wearable, then why don't u just keep on wearing it? Why would u want to wear a piece of clothing just once? Although there are some hk artists who do recycle their clothing, which is good news

yeah, i agree with you. it also lets viewers and audiences and such to remember where they've seen this person before. its a promotional thing. i mean i love a variety of clothes, but if you're constantly changing your look you're not gonna be remembered as well.

*nods*..totally agree..cause i noe for sure they hav the money to buy more clothes n stuf..cause wen i see rainie OUTISDE of album promotions..like hosting on guessguess..she's never repeated any one of her outfits!! and to prove that the taiwan strategy of using the same clothes worked..we ALL NOW remember that rainie's "AI MEI" look is that white cute dress. so IT DOES WORK! it's stuck in our head. . n that's exactly the whole point..to relate everything together to her album..the "look' she wants us to remember..kos wen she's outside of album promotions..u'l notice she wear diff clothes (her own chosen clothes maybe?)..

NG ah, just behind the scenes to DBY loh!!! Mars N MG (from d-addicts) had some pretty awesome NGs, I've only seen like 5 seconds of an NG for DBY (from youtube). It's just interesting to catch a glimpse of the crew at their most natrual moments!

'NG' stands for 'No Good', NG footages are like bloopers, which may also includes 'behind the scenes' footages...there were only a few NG footages of DBY, certainly NOT enough to satisfy me!

I live in aus, and got the dvd in chinatown...I don't know which version I got, but I think the one I got is pirated and not the real one ' the cover is pink and certainly looks fake ' I also got it at quite a cheap price...the real one is just too expensive '

I didn't see the real version at any store I went to, so I don't know how much the real one costed...however the price of it at yesasia.com was over AUD$100! I suspect it's still too expensive even if u didn't buy it online ' '

i bought mine in hk..which cost $500 HKD..which is a bit cheaper than yesasia... =) its still pretty expensive though!
