anyone seen this yet? this movie is based on a book written by the same author as the one who wrote Turn Left, Turn Right and the Floating Landscape. this one is suppose to be harder to do because the book has illustrations that would be hard to match in real life.

i'm really excited about this one because wong kar wai is one of the producers and his works never fail to amaze me! it is also one of miriam's first serious movies so it's nice to see her do something different. (not to mention tony leung is in it...what more can you ask for?)

Okay movies. Tony Leung is his usual brilliant self. He's pretty good with comedies too. Him and Miriam make a good pair on camera, like they did in My Lucky Star. I liked this one much better than My Lucky Star.

SPOILERS!

I usually like whatever Tony is in and I had to watch this one because Miriam was in it! I looove this pair. I thought the story was cute, how two blind people find love. But the way Tony got blind and how he got better was just too unbelivable to me.

Then there was another couple which I had no idea how they fit into the storyline so you see me press the ff button when they appear. They took up like half of the movie. I think if they took their part out and focused a little more on Tony and Miriam it would have been a much better film. All in all, an all right film but because of the cast I really liked it.

They're not suppose to fit the story line they are a completely different story it's just trying to show relationships developing at the same time. The movie was kinda boring to me. but i found the taiwan guy quite good looking there :drools so that's a good thing and Tony was cute there as well. tongue.gif

tony's one of the best, so this movie couldn't go wrong. i love tony and miriam as a couple. so i liked this movie. but i didnt like the 2nd story (the mandarin one) because i didn't understand it..it'd be a lot better if it was only the story with tony and miriam.

i didn't like the other story line but i guess they have to make the movie appealing to mainland china and taiwan as well...

the story was so sweet esp when miriam and tony found each other in the end, altho i think tony cheated because he looked haha

great song!

This was a really good series. I learned a lot about fashion design. I think the ending was really good and sweet. Moylie's acting has improved so much. Moylie and Ken had really good chemistry.

I liked this movie. It's true that some parts are boring, but overall it was worth watching it. I thought the story was good and most important it has a happy ending. It's not really a comedy, but more a romance story that starts up little by little and gets interesting in the end.

i found this movie very interesting and with a meaning to it, this movie makes you aware of blind people, this is a romantic blind story which is very good. At first it seems boring but once you get into it you will love it. i would recommend this to anyone.

The Tony-Miriam storyline - I found to be pretty sweet, but how he got blind and then recovered his vision was not realistic BUT the music in this movie was REALLY good.

I loved the movie, it was really sweet and funny. I'm a person who watches movies for their cast and this movie had an all-star cast with Tony and Miriam. The movie talk about two couples and finding their love for each other. Tony-Miriam couple deals with the issue of blindness too.
I was kinda confused because there was two love stories going on..thinking that the stories would combine together at some point but it didn't.
Good movie overall, I lent it to all my friends and they enjoyed it too.

I normally enjoy Tony and Miriam's movies but this one is a bore. It started OK and then it just drags until the end. Yes, it's very sweet and touching about what Tony is willing to do for Miriam but overall, an unrealistic movie.

lol it was okay. i get the miriam part but when my cousin gave it to mee...it didn't work and whenever it switch to the other part with the other couple..it started speaking in madarin...so i didn't know whats going on. i thought it was two different discs too...i thought my cousin burned it wrong for me or something. okay back to the point.....anyways i thought Tony was a lil cute in here. like the part when they were playing mahjong. and that guy who was passing out candy....very mysterious.

i liked this movie..but only the Miriam and Tony storyline..
the other couple didnt make sense to me...
maybe cause i dont understand mandarin..lol
but if they made the movie based on jsut Miriam and Tony it would have been better and less confusing for the audience...

I don't like romances and that movie definitely was a romance. But - surprisingly - I liked it a lot.
I liked it so much that I don't even mind that there wasn't any reason for Tony's blindness given, which usually would be a huge disadvantage of a movie IMO.

Tony and Miriam were quite good as usual... But the storyline is ridiculous.. and the other couple were redundant and so extra.. they don't fit into the movie at all..
