I thought he looked extremely hot in Gokusen. Nyummy. hehe. I fell into the Jun-trap there. L0l. He looks really good in uniforms. It took me a while to enjoy his acting in HYD, didn't enjoy it when he's arrogant towards Makino but in the end, I was rooting for him to end up with Tsukushi. Loved his solo, "La familia" too. Is Propose a drama or is it a movie by him? What issit about? And is it out on DVD/VCD?

I just finished the ending to his drama Hana Yori Dango!! I think he's the best portrayal of Domouji Tsukasa out of all the versions I seen so far. From a cocky and arrogrant jerk to a cute, adorable, sweet, lovable, and caring Domouji, I'm so in LOVE with his character in Hana Yori Dango.

it took me a while before getting used at his new curly hair because it didnt suit at him at first. i even flinched at the first time i saw him in that curls of his. but as usual, Jun charms makes me accept his new do. he really looks gud in everything! he's very stylish and i really dig his fashion sense.

I'm glad he' chosen as Damyouji at Hana Yori or i might not fell inlove with this series again if been given to someone else. he seems so perfect for the role. i'm really glad. i also like him with Inoue because they look so cute together and they even almost have the same age. but Johnny's Junior is very strict with their talents and it's a big no-no to have a girlfriend.. oh well..

here's to erik0suki who asked about Jun's propose, yes it's DVD and VCD is already out and you can also download it on d-addicts. Also, go to the last page of the torrent and u can download the soft-sub file. hope this could help.

Propose is a 3 part miniseries special... Jun's only in the first episode. its just different stories of how different guys proposed to the women they love...supposedly based on true stories...

Jun plays a fireman who is in love with a woman (older, by the looks of her) who works at a fastfood place..but her first husband was a fireman who died and she isn't sure she wants to go thru all that again .

(thanks from the bottom of my heart. this drama brought back the warmth of human feelings to my cold heart.
my husband died last christmas eve, and since then, i've lived each day without a feeling of touch in my heart and of course, nowhere close to a flutter. While recalling the process where my son and i were being healed by jun throughout the drama... i became aware that i was being attracted to jun's charm.
in the drama, his happy face, lonely face, angry face, gentle face, no matter what face, is great.
if it's not for jun, this won't be such a great series, right?
"pleasure is a possibility." my son is also becoming happier. we started searching for all jun's past shows. we started to like arashi very much. as mother and son, we share the pleasure of buying their cds and dvds together. who knows, my husband in heaven would be surprised... but, i'm truely thankful to jun kun.

the cast should feel, 'it is great being able to be part of a unique and popular cast of characters'. it's gonna be exciting to watch how painful yet beautiful the tense relationship between the brother and sister develops.

the manga, aoki sensei, has always noticed matsumoto. in fact, the lead character in her other work is named 'jun'! "Suggoi desyo! Matsujun desyo!! Matsujun! I was so excited i nearly fainted!" lol...

Just like the controversial title, the story is about 18yr old older twin bro falling in love with twin sis. the story is also riveting with it's explicit sexual depictions. the movie live action and casting work started at the end of summer this year.

Hm I wonder what hairstyle Jun will have this time. I love the momo-hair and grew to like the Tsukasa hair. The tokyo tower-hairstyle was sexy. he once said that, if he were to have a relationship, no one would ever find out. now, i'm not sure i have that much confidence in him about that, because he's a celeb...
but so far, i think that no, he has no problem expressing his feelings about work or ideas on the job at all. but yes, i do believe he might have a problem expressing affection.
he once said that he was pretty hopeless when it comes to chasing girls, and used to confide his romantic crushes and crashes to sho. in one of the pr done for hyd, mao asked jun to show her more love lol (so that she could get into the vibe quicker in the romantic scenes i guess), but jun has this depressed expression and said that he's particularly weak at this... poor babe...

2. What do you guys make of the fact that he hates to be touched? (For example, in an interview the interviewer went to touch his fake hair, and he told her not to touch it.) One wonders about that!

a sense of insecurity?
one of the more memorable jun's quote in arashigoto, was that he had nightmares of craters or something like that. personally, i think he's very sensitive about his looks, and i believe he's aware that he has bad skin lol (ok, this is my OWN hypothesis on this dream, so don't quote me!!) i used to have a horrible pimple breakout last year (i've NEVER had bad skin in my life before that), and i had similar nightmares... lol)
and it makes him feel inconfident that folks should come too close to him or touch him. ok, i'm no psychologist, so this is my hypothesis...

of course, there is the much more down to earth and simple reason that he's not easy-going socially. he admits that since young, he only keeps to people he knows well, and it's hard for him to make new friends unless they approach him first. he says that he will never make the first move. so far from what i've seen, he's only 'touch-friendly' with his arashi mates^^.

the cast for 'my sis' is announced.
the first to be announced on the news was matsumoto jun san for the role of yori.

the response to the news was overwhelming since this morning, the number of visits to this webpage never dropped once, the calls from my friends and aquantences were non stop.

the shoujo manga 3.4 compilation that will be coming out in jan 5th will be announcing this news of matsumoto jun acting the role of yori.

I think everyone's seen the news by now.

all wanted to know how this decision on the actor was made.

the requirement from the producers was 'to recruit someone with great acting experience/skills'.

(she goes on to give an example/praise 'miss saigon' musical about different portrayals of the engineer role by 4 different actors giving different but good results...)

there are alot of considerations during the casting.
i think, the charm of the film, because of different actors, the final out-take will be different even for the same role.
it's gonna be interesting to see 'live people' acting the roles of manga characters.

to add his own input to the character of yori...

create his own, unique yori...

if there is such an actor who could do all of these in 'my sis', it will be very interesting.

thus, when i heard that matsumoto jun was gonna act yori, i was really happy.

matsumoto jun san has already starred in manga based stories that are much more famous than 'my sis'. since the announcement of the news, i've been alternatively thinking "he's just like yori", and " he's nothing like yori". but whether i felt the earlier or the latter, i'll still end up thinking "it's gonna be terribly interesting...". because no matter what role matsumoto jun san takes on, he's makes it fantastic. (heart heart heart!! from fybabe^^)

oh wow, i can't believe he's gonna star in Boku wa Imouto ni Koi wo Suru..... I'm surprised that it is such a popular manga in Japan. The subject matter seems to be very fringe, not mainstream at all. It'll definitely be interesting and probably uncomfortable to watch. It's such an explicit manga (i've read all the english scanlations by shoujomagic)....

well, he was really good in tokyo tower (one of my favourite japanese films of 2005) so I think he might be able to pull of incestous love.... :S
