I am COMPLETELY in love with Lee Dong Wook right now! My hotties from past dramas have moved on to movies (Kwon Sang Woo and Hyun Bin) so I'm glad Lee Dong Wook is here for me to drool over! Doesn't he look scrumptious in My Girl?! Why is it that tall and gorgeous men like Lee Dong Wook (hehe..also Ming Dao and Shao Wei!) make me go nuts?! How many episodes of My Girl have you watched so far?? I'm waiting (impatiently actually) for episodes 5 and 6 with chinese subs. Hehe..LDW doesn't look that tall in the drama since Lee Dae Hee is 5'7 herself =). |

Lee Dong Wook is completely mesmerizing in My Girl. I love it when he has a serious expression on his face *sigh*Hey...I found a tiny similarity between this and Prince Frog- both of the lead actresses are money-hungry (less Tian Yu but still...!) and of course, the gorgeous male leads. I dunno Elle...I'm beginning to find Lee Dong Wook hotter than Ming Dao...  ' Lee Dong Wook just looks more gorgeous as the years go on. He ages beautifully and so do most of those Korean hotties! I think in the future episodes I'm going to want to strangle the ex-girlfriend..she supposedly turns in a  to keep LDW because we all know that he'll fall for Yoo Rin in now time. The episode previews for 7 and 8 sound so good...i think in 8, LDW is starting to be uncomfortable with Yoo-Rin thinking of him as her 'brother' Oh thats right...I forgot that you didn't know how to read Chinese...i keep thinking you could! Chocolaatje thanks for the beautiful caps!! OMIGOSH!! YES!! Lee Dong Wook IS a combination of Hyun Bin and Won Bin!!

I saw the preview video clip uploaded by Soompier berry -- too eager to see the part when GC & YR were staring at each other His gentle ways of draping a jacket/coat over her and also, his gestures of touching her head are simply adorable Luv the way he teased her after picking up her sandal scene At first i was wondering why when GC was about to touch YR's head again, but didnt... Later, read the translation & knew the reason of him holding back his hand -- awww, that's so sweet of him tho i wish he would! If only his ex didnt turn up at that time *sighs* Sorry to say, i dont like Eric's gal at all.. ergghh As for the 2nd male lead -- altho i dont favour his feminine features, but his role is lovable as each episode goes by  Luckily he has a nice voice too! Dont u think of Zhi Qian when it comes to Jeong-Woo? BUT Shao Wei is still forever my Shao Wei so Xu Zi Qian will always be my Xu Zi Qian Were you able to find the preview clips for 7 and 8? I still haven't seen it! I have to wait until Saturday/Sunday for the Chinese subs!! I need something to hold me over!!  Gosh...I want GC to take action already!! I'm going to scream if SY hugs him again or calls him 'oppa'!!  I couldn't download Hanoi Bride!! So I haven't seen that yet! Elle you need to start stalking the Magician of Love thread! ... oh yeah, he's Jeong Woo and not Seong Woo!  (*got to edit my previous post*) Could be the side-effect of having your beloved SW on my mind? In terms of character, look, etc... for sure ZQ/SW rules over JW!!! Remember the part where GC told YR in the cab -- he could fall asleep anywhere now -- just like JYR used to do? Well, not only that, he got the hype from her of having wild thoughts too! Lots of sweet & funny interactions/bickering between Gong Chan & Yoo Rin Luv every hilarious moment of how YR is getting on GC's nerves and turns his life into a complete 'mess'!! But the best thing is... he would finally 'give in' to her no matter how silly/ridiculous stuffs she did! LOLz Another yummy look from LDW...  My Girl - Ep. 7 As expected, Ep. 7 ended with a cliffhanger *sighs* Dying to see GC-YR's reactions in the next episode!!! Oh dear, let's hope Ep. 8 wont end with that gazing scene between our adorable pair as shown in the past preview... or else, i wont be able to survive another torturing week of waiting ' Yo, Shirley, I'm totally obsessed with this drama (esp LDW ) and cant concentrate on anything at all lately! Shirley dearie & chocolaatje... after reading the translations for Ep. 7 by kind Soompiers, i really had a great laugh understanding wat GC-YR bickered at each other! The whole episode is fun to watch and touchy too During this scene... when he finally entered her room with the band-aid box, and said 'what's with the modesty between them?' and asked her to pull up her pant! He simply wanted to 'remind' her abt the bathroom incident! Our GC shi is so cheeky & certainly has great sense of humour! kekekeee...  My Girl - Ep. 5 Sweet moment YR looks so adorable  My Girl - Ep. 5 Aww, Shirley... who wouldnt fall for GC rite? I so agree with u about LDW-LDH's chemistry in MG Some of my fav K-pairing: Jang Dong Gun & Chae Rim in 'All About Eve', Soong Seong Heon (or Won Bin) & Soong Hae Gyo in 'Autumn in My Heart', Lee Dong Gun & Han Ji Hye in 'Sweet 18', Hyun Bin & Kim Sun Ah in 'My Name is Kim Sam Soon' and so on... but i think the BEST pair who rocks is our latest obsession --> MG lovebirds  Credit: sbs.co.kr Just finished watching Ep. 8 raw! But Seol Gong Chan sshi was sooo willing to help me out... So I agree to pretend to be his younger cousin... And then he started to treat me nicely like a real cousin... Eventhough I'm not his real cousin... JW: I told you it was going to be painful. Stop this, and let's go. YR: I'm not gonna go back there. I'm going to go somewhere far away. i'm addicted too. seem that the lead actor is slowly falling in love with Yoo-Rin. The ep 8 is so funny even without sub. Hope it'll be released tomorrow : i'll understand the conversation!!!

U know, when i first heard of the title 'My Girl', i was thinking... hmm... wat sort of storyline is this?  Later, when i knew LDW is the main lead (yeah finally ) and saw some of his images from the official website... i was like -- whoaaa i'm going for it!!! Then, after 1st episode -- i fell for it immediately! Since i watched LDH in 'Sweet 18' first, so, i totally didnt expect her to be so comical and adorable in MG! I've gotta start studying so my post will be short today =(.
Episode 7 and 8 is just too good yet too sad at the same time. The very last scene of Gong Chan debating whether or not he should let Yoo Rin go was heartbreaking. I loved how he ended it with "I don't want to let her go." He's not falling- he's already fallen for her. I also loved how he ran to get Yoo Rin at the restaurant when he got the call. That showed right there how much he cared about her. He's even more anxious to rush over to the restaurant than the last time he drove to meet his injured ex (errrkkkk... i dislike SY especially when she thought of changing the ringtone & delete the screensaver from GC's h/p  Well, as we sort of 'expected' GC's reaction but yet, i was still excited when he said nope! ) One thing I like about Jeong Woo (pls bear in mind that i'm not referring to his looks ya )... he wont feel hesitated to shoot sarcastic remarks at her! Remember after the squash betting game, when Gong Chan asked JW to be more 'friendly' with his ex -- JW said if GC is able to 'warmth' her heart, so what if he's acting cold towards her! It's so cute when GC 'complained' to himself that it's a 'nuisance' of getting her the birthday gift and at the same time, he's taking the trouble to find out from his assistant when exactly it's going to snow! It's very interesting to see GC's feelings being greatly affected by Yoo Rin's presence in his life She's making him so confused now! ... u crack me up with these " 我的天啊。。。" Can imagine your reaction with these words again if i were to tell u that i wake up at 3:30am this morning just to watch Ep. 9 Yuppp, I know, I'm also telling myself, "Elle, u've gone crazy" (like wat GC did!) I believe wat u hv in mind is EXACTLY wat i'm thinking too, i.e. GC-YR's lovey scenes got to be MORE passionate than JW-YR's, yeah? Poor JW  He truly luvs YR too... let's hope he would continue to be good till the end. Do u think GC would happen to be around during JW-YR's moment? Edited: Shirley... heheee..., at first I was worried that JW's character might turn into a 'bad' guy (i'll hate the scriptwriter if he does! ) and forces the kiss on YR since he no longer could suppress his luv for her ' After reading the news, it's a relief to know the reason of him doing it! LOLz I understand JW is such a sweetie and it's totally not fair to him but then, i would kill to see GC fuming with jealousy! Bbashya! Lee Jun Ki's comment on the scene was also funny! Even with 3 takes (& LDW only 1) -- he complained it's a short kiss? There's a part in Ep. 9 where both guys were having a drink in the pub -- they joked about something and LJK 'strangled' LDW -- oh boy, u would luv to see LDW's reaction -- he was absolutely adorable! Oh ya, remember the preview of the tender gazing scene between GC & YR at the end of Ep. 7? The kiss was really cute but I'm still waiting for one those 深情 kisses where both parties are completely into it. You could just feel the love when you see them kiss. In other words, I don't want an accidental kiss!!
I downloaded the first episode of 宫 but haven't watched it yet. I'm planning on doing so this weekend. Right now I'm freaking out about my presentation in Chinese simply because I loathe public speaking with a passion! Ratings are good! It's gradually on the rise! I watched the raw eps of 9 and 10 and i'm DYING to find out what Gong Chan said to Yoo Rin the last few minutes!! |

... wOw, it's gonna be fun to have my dearest chingu as a Chinese tutor! Yo, i only managed to read the basic/common words (most of the time, i cant figure out those in simplified Chinese). If complicated characters, i would need pinyin! I think i should be able to guess this word 疯 tho! LOLs Like i said, our golden K-pair is driving me nuts! 深情 = passionate? Hi 10! I also want them to share an intimate kiss soooooooon Their reactions after the first accidental kiss were funny! Gudness, this drama made me cracked up so much!  According to some Soompi translators, GC found out that his real cousin is dead. Earlier, he was unsure wat to do when his grandpa told him that he intended to make a public announcement during their hotel anniversary abt YR. Therefore, GC thought of ending YR's 'task' before the upcoming event 'The chat they had at the end of Ep. 10 -- it's so heartbreaking rite , when he was grabbing the coin (the one which was given by YR, and which he's supposed to use it whenever there's a need for him to tell a lie ) and asked her to stay on as his cousin... He's so clueless and confused of his own feelings -- no doubt, he doesnt want her to leave However, if she were to stay on, he's not keen of treating her as his 'cousin'. Subconsciously, he's being drawn to her but yet, he denied it, thinking it's not possible since he's committed to his ex *sighs*. Awww, GC is such a blur! Dont u feel like giving our GC-shi some big muachhhs when he made the drink and bought the batteries for YR? I rewatched the NG clip so many times and still laugh like mad! LOLs From the NGs, LDW seems to be a funny & cheeky guy in person, yeah?   Shirley... good luck in your presentation! Bbashya!!

ELLE!! Lee Dong Wook is just too hot. As the episodes progress he just gets hotter and hotter!! I wanna see some romantic scenes between Gong Chan and Yoo Rin gosh darn it!!
I also watched the first episode and Goong and it's not bad. The lead actress reminds me of Han Ji Hye and the actress from Let's Go to the Beach combined. Although, I will admit the 2 leads are very good looking! I'll stick with Goong for now and without saying, of course My Girl!! A little off topic but Choi Ji Woo's new Japanese drama "Rondo" is out!!!! YAY!! |
