For everyone who's in a bit of a debacle over the fact that Sun Zhong doesn't allow people to date within his company, I think that Orchids has a very very good point. Most of the Jstars are fairly young, so the chances of breakups and turmoils are extremely high. That would cause dissent and "factions" within Jungiery. Plus, Sun Zhong makes it extremely extremely clear that Jstars aren't allowed to date (and personally, I'd find it weird, even if I was in a perfectly happy relationship to see my significant other in the office every single day) so if you weren't happy with that clause, then you wouldn't join the company. Besides, when you're a celebrity, your private and public life is basically at the mercy of the paparazzi anyways, as unobtrusive as Taiwanese paparazzi can get...

And since Jungiery is so close, I think that for them, dating one another would be like dating family. I know that in AQMFS when Weiru had to kiss Shaowei she kept on saying how weird it was, "like kissing an older brother [or something]." And as for the Pingbi's, well other management companies do those too, and it just encourages the Jstars to be silly, and create that family atmosphere AND keep on their creative toes because it's very easy to fall into a rut if you're not vigilant.

I get u'r point, now i understand why sun zhong doesn't allowed them to have a love affair between jungiery stars.
But if there is love between some of jungiery stars, what would they do?
Keeping their feeling one another?

Well, I know that love/feelings aren't something that you can force, and if two people within Jungiery happen to like each other a lot...well, they are free to do a few things

a) ignore it. they don't act upon it. and yes, it's irritating, but that's the life you signed up for when you agreed to become part of Jungiery.

cool.gif leave the company. one person, or the other, or both, leaves Jungiery. There may be some penalty that needs to be exacted for leaving the company, such as a termination fee or something else, and of course, it'll be a mar on your personal record for the rest of you... erm.. life, but hey! you'll do anything for love, right?

c) date, and keep it a secret until it's broken out into the world like ZaiZai and Toro's was... and then create a huge scandal.

d) OR just wait until your contract terms are up, don't renew (Sun Zhong knows that he's investing in idols, not necessarily artists that will last a lifetime, so contracts are probably 10years max), and then go and fall in love, if you'd like.

I mean, it's your personal choice what to do, but I think it was pretty unfair for ZaiZai and Toro to break Sun Zhong's trust like that. Cause frankly put, people look badly upon Sun Zhong because he kicked ZZ out of Jungiery, but if it was anything OTHER than dating Toro (like embezzling money, or breaking any other contract terms), the no one would think Sun Zhong wasn't justified. But it's the fact that it has to do with feelings and "gan qing" that everyone looks so lowly on Sun Zhong. Frankly, I think he was perfectly justified and right. You broke the rules, one of the highest rules, and I'm going to have to punish you-- I don't want to do it, but it has to be done.

not to be mean or anything, but I really hate J-stars...they are like so..so...can't find the word for it..
I don't nesscary hate the bands that are in it but then how j-stars works..it's kind of stupid...
like 5566 and 183 club. why is sam in both of the band??? i don't get that... and why is it that only tony and refun sings in 5566?... that's stupid. oh yeah..and the thing about toro and zai zai... she was like on a freeze becuase of the fact that her and toro were dating of something... and agian like 5566 and 183... toro's group..typhoon...why the hell is darren in it now??.. isn't he suppose to be like in k one.? see this is stupid...plus R&B, they have like new members every other month. plus tie chi (i don't really know how to spell it), they don't even sing...i mean they do but they don't even have their own album...they just dance around for like k one and 5566 (like back up dancers). I mean these ppl have talents but the way j-star organize it is just plain STUPID!!!!!!!!!!! dry.gif

hey relax okay? although everyone of us is entitled to have our own opinions here, it doesnt mean that u can be so vulgar in it. so please dont say this again in the future, like criticising j stars or whatever. if you want to criticise, go to the critics hangout or put it in a much nicer way. if not, please refrain from using words like those u used in your post.

i am a fan of j stars. although sam is in both 5566 and 183 club, just as long as he can cope with the pressure and everything im sure its alright! if he cant cope, he has all the rights to do so, just as long as he finishes what he is supposed to do. if not, i think its perfectly all right.

Well. You think it's stupid because majority of the current boybands do not classify their lead and back-up singers. Xiezhi and Renfu are the lead singers in 5566 because of their vocal capabilities, whereas Mengzhe and Shaowei (and Xiao Dao) are the back-up singers and/or rappers. This is why 5566 stands out from other boybands- because they are willing to put aside personal reputations for the sake of the overall music. So next time you criticize, think.

Based on what I have seen from J-Star members, I really believe that the members like Sun Zhong and they believe he is a good manager. You see them joke around with him all the time.

Here is a link for a few videos on YouTube of J-Stars members at the company's sport competition back in January 2006. You will see that Sun Zhong gets pulled into doing a few events and he is a good sport about it.

You can't save files from youtube. They encode the flash in such a way that it's virtually impossible to manage to download the file off youtube. It involves something complicated like splitting it up and parsing it...and yeah..bad for business.

Well, optimistically, if the user that uploaded the file won't bite your head off for it, you could try messaging them to see if they'll send you the file directly.

From personal experience with youtube though, most users tend to delete the files, because now that they can access them from youtube at any time and virtually forever...there's no need to keep it on their hardrive. But you could always try!

There is a way that you can save the file from youtube, but you won't get anything... you'll still have to be connected to the internet to play the file, the only difference is that you won't have to connect directly to youtube for it. So there's no difference, plus you still have to use the youtube flash player instead of like getting a .rm file or a .mpg and playing it on your personal media player.

you can download files from youtube. the instruction was posted in the WZBQW thread. go there and read and please dont ask okay? because it will be spamming. i think it has got something to do with the html code. just change a little of here and there then you can download. if im not wrong, its either someone called vicki or vivian who posted the instructions. i cant really remember who though. sorry.

Hey guys, I'm kind of new to this world-- so I was wondering... how did the various J-stars "get discovered"? There seems to be an extremely wide range of ages even within the groups themselves (ex: XiaoJie and QiaoEn).

Well, I can't give you specifics, since I'm also relatively new to the wide world of Jstars... BUT.. I know that KOne was picked up from XiaoDao's management company (he was a former member of 5566) when KOne released a first album that actually did really badly. But I guess Sun Zhong (and maybe even XiaoDao willingly gave him KOne) saw a lot of potential in KOne and signed them on. I'm not completely aware of the specifics, but apparently at the time when KOne first joined Jungiery, there were only 4 members, then one more was acquired-- It makes sense if the last member that joined them was JR because JR is young, whereas the rest of KOne are all relatively in the same age-range.

Xiezhi and Renfu from 5566 were already part of Jungiery even before 5566 formed. Xiezhi was quite well known as a Taiwanese singer (he won various contests or something) and known for being a pretty 'shuai' guy. Renfu went to a special 'talent/entertainment' school in Taiwan (basically for kids who don't want to pursue academics, but rather would enter the showbiz) and he was part of the intial Jungiery group known as Postman (which disbanded and failed miserably).

QiaoEn was with Jungiery before Jstars started getting really famous. Looking at her, she was probably either: a) like renfu and a showbiz school kid OR cool.gif a model. Most of the various Jstars are all models-turned-performers. Shaowei from 5566 was a model. I think XiaoQiao was a model, Weiru was probably a model too. Mingdao and Yurong were both models. Johnny Yan Xing Shu was a very popular MVP basketball player (really! it's not a scheme because of MVP Valentine), and apparently he was pretty 'shuai' too...so I guess to broaden Jungiery's stretch to ALL aspects of life (like having models and singers and dancers weren't enough), Sun Zhong decided to sign Johnny, I guess (so they could get an athelete). A lot of the younger members of Jungiery (XiaoJie, Mengzhe, JR) are definitely recruits from a showbiz school. Um... Toro was originally a part of another boyband called Energy, but the group had a dispute with the manager, and Toro sided with the manager-- so he left with the manager... therefore he ended up joining Jungiery.

Erm... James from VJ (Victor and James) is actually Jacky Zhu Fan Gang's brother. Jacky won a singing contest...and [insert some consequential events] was signed to Jungiery. A lot of the smaller, lesser-known groups are much more unavailable, in terms of history-- although I'm sure someone around here who has been following Jstars for much longer than I have can tell you. Like, I don't know a lot of the history of LaLa-- although I do know that they're just part of a former/now-disbanded group called R&B. 7Flowers also originally started with 7flowers...but a scandal here, unhappiness there, and then shifting around of contracts, uncompatability-- and we have what you see today!

Actually Qiaoen is spotted by someone when she was standing on a chair scolding someone.

Weiru was not a model but she was spotted when she entered Jacky Go Go Go show. She was later asked to flim a mv with Jay Chou. then she entered Jungiery

Xiao Jie, Mingdao was also similar to Weiru was spotted in the Jacky Go Go Go then went on from there.

Mingdao went on to flim an advertisement and then he entered Jungiery.

They're pretty much loosing though, so gotta get moving on the voting.

Tried to find the address of Jungiery on their website, but I think my chinese reading sucks too much, so I can't find it at all. Anyone has any ideas?
