Ni ii Ki
Yeah, he is learning Chinese at the moment. But I think he's learning Mandarin. And I think his album will be in Mandarin too!! funkindagirl oohhh....alright then I dont really know Mandarin. I know a few phrases and words from TV Lol My realy name is Gemma. Actually I dont know yours either! What's ur real name too?? I also think he should of tried Taiwanese market because if he was paired up with anyone at least they can sing and they'll be better than people from EEG. But I think with him signing with EEG does help him with Taiwan as well. He's releasing a Mando album and people there speak mando so it'll kinda be the same but he wont be there and get paired up with people with them. Maybe in the future though. And EEG is taking him o for his work in Taiwan as well as HK and China. But, signing with a HK company is kinda good anyway because he has lots of fans there too! fanofsam Yep! This signing of EEG has made this thread a bit more active and now we have more members for this thread too!! |

I think not just learn chinese, but also cantonese, afterall, many pple still speak cantonese in Hong Kong.
Junki is so capable, so whichever company he goes, it will still go well for him, don't u all think so. Actually by joining EEG, mayb it wasn't that bad, afterall, he get to enter the expanded market, and not just in korea. Also, recently there were some news, so it actually a promotion for him and more people would notice him. Ni ii Ki I see opposite from u, short hair, i don't think he look manlier, but not ger look definitely.Instead, i think he look more boyish, doesn't look like of his age. He did learn quite a few languages, mayb due to because of the show & promotion that he have to attend. Lets work hard and we'll get to watch the drama after our stuff. M12: havent seen the separate pics anywhere..but u could separate them with photoshop. lol...
Ni ii Ki: noo dont delete them...they are beautiful pics...haha im staring away. damn he looks good in his tux/suit...that bow is cute! LOL guess he didnt like it much tho yup! i plan to go too and see him! haha dont worry il be with u on the 'stalking' hahaha im 8 yrs younger too he wouldnt trust me either. oh well, we should try anyway xD small chance he'd say yes... Gemma: oh yeh i think u did tell me once...i must've forgot, sorry im emily =D oh ok...hehe...so ur canto is much better then? are u fluent? haha im getting the impression now that EEG is really bad from wot everyone's saying.. i only know that twins, joey yung, nicholas tse and kenny kwan are with EEG...but never heard any of their music. lol i dnt like canto music much, it sounds weird to my ears. so im extra extra happy that he's releasing a mando album...altho i dont understand y he's joined with a HK company if he is. it would make more sense to go to taiwan wouldnt it & join a company like sony BMG or HIM? id love to hear him duet with s.h.e's selina or hebe...i think their voices would work well together. and yeh if he was to do duets it should be with people that can sing otherwise it'll bring him down. but u know if EEG are gona make him bigger in taiwan and other parts of china too then im all for it! |

bluebutterfly: oh yeh i wouldnt know all the formal stuff either..
just conversational everyday stuff...i dont even get to speak to anyone except my chinese tutor oh. i see. il give EEG a chance then...as long as they dont muck up junki's career and his album isnt a disaster il hold off commenting on them. hehe dunno about ella tho, she'd probably drown out his voice...lol Ni ii Ki: but then i love him casual too...ahh he looks good in anything. time between dog and wolf was fantastic cos i got to see him in so many different ways...he had the gangster look with the slicked back hair, the rough street look with ordinary clothes, the good boy look at the start of the series and the evil look with the suits...hehehe yup...only just turned 17 yesterday =D otherwise id be saying 9 yrs. ahhhaa 34...so old...almost 10 yrs older than junki..scary thought but yeh then he'd have to listen to us and we could be his teacher. lmao ur in korea this July???! nooo not fair...il be in Malaysia...closer to him than i am now but still so far... u might still get the chance to see him if he happens to be in korea at that time. |

Yeah I read from soompi that the series is something similiar to robinhood where a chivalrous bandit during the Joseon Dynasty robs corrupt government officials to feed the poor. Iljime, the hero, leaves a wooden branch from a plum tree at the site of each robbery to take responsibility for the robberies and to protect others.
The drama is schedule to debut around March 2008 in SBS. The story is based on a manga & Jang Dong Gun had filmed it before in 1990s at MBC. Anyway the drama is around 20 eps & Lee Moon Sik (from Fly Daddy Fly) & Park Si Ho will be the cast of the show also. Eagerly waiting for the series. ^^ LJK is filming a chinese drama? What story is that? Who is the cast & when will it air? He is also going to release a mandarin album? When will it be? o.O |

Lee Jun Ki HK$10 millon contact (as Twin´s junior)
This piece of news confirmed the unofficial news I posted earlier about Lee Jun Ki signing with Yin Wang (Emperor) to enter the Chinese markets. I have taken the liberty to include the pinyin for Mandarin (standarized pronunciation) and Cantonese (no standardised phonetics yet) to get an idea of the tongue twister that Charlene Choi gave to Lee Jun Ki without him knowing earlier. (Hong Kong) Lee Jun Ki who through “The King and The Clown” became popular in Asia, enters the Chinese market as his next step. The day before yesterday with HK$10 million worth (contract) he signed with Emperor Group of Hong Kong and formally enters the Greater China region´s entertainment arena. In order to cohesively rally around Lee Jun Ki´s Asia and other area´s fans, Emperor, not only created his official fan club but also tailor made the website. Rumour has it that Lee Jun Ki will sing Chinese songs with Twins and also Ah Sa (Charlene Choi from Twins) gave him a Chinese wind breaker as a welcoming gift to Lee Jun Ki as her junior. Ah Kew (Gillian Chung from the Twins) also taught Lee Jun Ki tai chi. Lee Jun Ki assumed Chinese martial arts posture for reporters to snap photos. Also taught, Lee Jun Ki to say “I love you (Wo ai ni)” in Mandarin to the fans. But Lee Jun Ki has long known that, so Ah Sa quickly changed to Cantonese and said “I love you (ngo ngoi le)” and give him a tongue twister “Dig (for) gold, dig (for) bone, dig (for) chicken bone (kwut kam kwut kuwut kwut kai kuwut” to pull his leg (make a fool of him). Thereafter, Ah Sa then told him that she wanted to make fun of him and that Lee Jun Ki has aptitude for mastering Cantonese. Lee Jun Ki HK$10 millon contact (as Twin´s junior) [b]This piece of news confirmed the unofficial news I posted earlier about Lee Jun Ki signing with Yin Wang (Emperor) to enter the Chinese markets. YingLing - thanks for sharing this. I hope he'll be successful in HK, too just like in Korea. I'm getting excited with his collaboration with Twins, looking forward for his songs. Ye, his father in the movie, FDF will also be his father in this new drama. I'm also getting excited about this drama although I'm not into period series but no choice since he's in it. |

it's my pleasure to share stuff about him. i can't wait to see what he's like being in the Chinese entertainment scene. i wanna hear him speak in Cantonese and Mandarin...singing in Cantonese and Mandarin. maybe he should be featured in Twins' MV. Lee Jun Ki, to return as 'Iljimae' Lee Jun Ki who rose to stardom with his feminine clown role in "The King and the Clown" is returning to a historical drama series in an opposite persona. Lee Jun Ki has been cast as the leading role in "Iljimae" a 20 episode historical drama series to be aired on SBS. He will display his strong charisma through 'Iljimae' who is considered a chivalrous robber of the time. Lee Jun Ki's manager Kim Woo Jin commented, "He has selected characters that emphasized his manliness since 'The King and the Clown' and this character seems to be at the peak of his efforts." In the drama series "Iljimae," Lee Jun Ki will play a character who acts as a usless gangster in the marketplace by day and a chivalrous robber by night. The series will start filming in November with a location shoot in China as well. Credits: Broasia.com Lee Joon Ki became a new family member of Jackie Chan! Lee Joon Ki became a new family member of Jackie Chan! According to Mentor Entertainment, where Lee Joon Ki belongs to, Lee Joon Ki recently agreed to hire EEG (Emperor Entertainment Group) to be his management company in Chinese market. EEG, division of Emperor Group, is an entertainment management company with Jackie Chan, Joey Yung and a group called Twins. Emperor group also owns a film production called JCE. Lee Joon Ki is seeking a way to get into the Chinese market by holding an autograph event in Beijing, Hong Kong and Taiwan, said the officials from Mentor Entertainment. It was also interested by foreign news reporters. AP, reported from Hong Kong, reported that Lee Joon Ki has signed up with EEG and had the autograph event in Hong Kong on October 2nd, sitting on a throne just like his movie, 'King and I'. AP also reported that Lee's performance fee for this event was around 1,3 million U.S. dollars but EEG never confirmed it. EEG would start Lee's career in Chinese market by starting with movies. Lee recently appeared as a National Intelligence Service Agent of Korea in 'The time of dog and the wolf' Credits: Broasia.com This post has been edited by ~YingLing~: Oct 17 2007 8 35 AM |

Rocruz, after reading your defence for nam sang mi, I decided to finished the drama first then reply you, ah well,I watched it and still I can't change my opinion about her. My sister who doesn't even like Junki(I kinda forced her to watch the time between the dog and wolf ,te hee), said even nastier things about her.I don't see any of the things you mentioned above about nam sang mi, but hey it's probably just me who see and think of her that way. I think that she's very lucky to have a fan like you who'll stand up for her. And also she's very lucky that Junki kissed her twice in the drama XD Can't wait to watch another Junki series.Always rooting and supporting Lee Jun Ki!!!!! Yay Oppa won the rising star award!! wait didnt Oppa change management? i mean since he switched to EEG doesnt that means he has a new management person? the guy who used to be his boss isnt his boss anymore cuz he changed company so isnt it like hes the one that decided where to go? i dont think that his old company would send him to another agency.. he has to do that on his own Ni ii Ki - I think this EEG is only his management company in HK? He also has his management company in Korea. |

Nikki: oh so its like a mixture. junki speaking korean and the girl speaking jap. lol then how do they understand each other? lol
yup ive seen the trailer too. haha i was trying to explain it without using the word boring...but seeing as u think it as well i think so too! oo thxs for the link. another gangster type role! hehe..i look forward to it i dnt really watch korean ancient dramas either but i probably would watch. not something i think i should miss out on! lol. and those ancient dramas seem to always do really well in terms of ratings. oh yeh the jap thing about 3 alphabets that really confuses me...y have so many? and how would u know which one to use. or is it that people arent meant to know all 3? does jap also have the different ways to refer to the same thing? like male/female? |
