Here's the summary for his new drama according to dramawiki:

Set during the Joseon Dynasty, Iljimae acts as a useless gangster in the marketplace by day but at night he is a chivalrous robber who robs corrupt government officials to give to the poor. After each robbery he leaves behind a wooden branch from a plum tree at the site of the robbery to take responsibility for the robbery.

It's 20 episodes and is supposed to air on SBS in march of 2008

i'm really looking forward to junki's new drama. his acting in 'time of dog & wolf' blew me away and was pleasantly surprised by his masculine look. the hairstyle looks good on him and he looked trim (i think he might have lost some weight for the role). his dressing was sharp, too unlike the stuff he wore in 'my girl'.

I don't know how many LJK fans we have here, but I do know of three...and one of them is korean! She and LJK can have a convo, and she can translate for me...okay, i'm getting way in over my head, but it's just a thought...a really, really nice thought. Lolz. Okay this is going off topic right now, but just thought I'd share this with the people who love Jun Ki... just like me....I actually announced my wedding to him (a little over the top, huh?) and then remembered I was already married (fake married) to James Lafferty of One Tree Hill (*sigh* hottie)....so I was asking my sister if polygamy is for multiple wives, then is it the same for multiple husbands, and she said probably. so i was like, 'okay then, i'm all for polygamy. you and ami (my friend) better get your maid of honor gowns ready...lolz....am i hooked or what?

Actor Lee Jun-ki celebrated Yuletide, royal style, in Thailand. During his tour with the Korean-Thai Chamber of Commerce (KTCC), the 26-year-old took part in a large Christmas ceremony with the Thai royal family in Chiang Mai, Monday.

This is the first time a ``hallyu'' (Korean wave) star has visited the area, and reportedly some 5,000 people swarmed the venue to catch a glimpse of Lee lighting a Christmas tree, according to Metro. The tree-lighting event is an annual royal festivity.

The star of ``King and the Clown'' was also invited to the 80th birthday celebration of Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Wednesday, a first for a foreign celebrity.

Lee had filmed part of his latest TV series ``Times of Dogs and Wolves'' in Thailand, and has a large fan base there. During the shooting, he took part in a charity event where he auctioned off some of his personal belongings. The occasion had attracted some 5,000 fans and over 100 local press members, demonstrating his immense popularity in the area.

i just hv a question: who's the girl who walked the red carpet and presented the award together w/ him? just curious...when i first saw his pic w/ her on the newspaper i was like "wow, why is he arriving w/ a girl? and she's holding his arm... *suspicious* but then when i watched the video i realized it was just b/c they were presenting an award together anywayz, she's lucky!

Nii...hahaha you're kinda right, he does look less korean since he cut his hair, although it grew so much already, it's almost back to the old length he used to have. but he looks good no matter how, don't you think so?

I never liked him before when he was in My Girl, probably because of the long hair and he just looked too "pretty". After watching Time between Dog and Wolf, omg, he was so cool and that made him hot. I liked his hair too. He's such a great actor in it... I don't think anyone would suit that character better than him. He should become a real NIS agent.. haha it adds to the hotness factor haha.

Pop in here once in a while to see how Junki is faring. Agree. I don't really like that too-girly look in My Girl, and his crying scenes. Too much for me. But right now kinda of fascinated by his acts.

In fact, if you look closely at LJK and his photo shots, he does have that typical Korean look. I just got back from a fren's place and was shown pictures of her Korean frens, ehmmmmm......bingo there is some resemblance.

Check it out: Lee Junki has his very own doll— er, action figure.

His likeness has been cast in these 60cm-tall figures, complete with all the major joints that bend and move freely. The company manufacturing the dolls has a line of celebrity-themed figures, and this is the first one featuring Lee Junki. A lot of celebrity dolls tend not to look much like the stars they’re fashioned after, but these are eerily similar to the real thing. (I did see a line of Song Seung Heon dolls once that looked uncannily like the real actor, though. Whatever methods these toymakers are using are making for lots of creepily similar mini-celebrity representations! It probably helps that Lee Junki has well-defined, pretty features to begin with.)

A limited run went on sale in Japan on the 20th; they’ll go on sale in Korea and internationally beginning in January.

Haha, Lee Jun Ki just keep racking up the trophies doesn't he? I'd like to see his little trophy stand one day, including the "rising star" award he got from the Hawaii International Film Festival/HIFF (yep i went to that plus i sat in the front ) and the trophy was a koa bowl (Its a bark, most people that live in hawaii, like me, know about its really pretty) i couldnt see much but it definetly was a bowl.

"Yi Chang Feng Hua Xue Yue De Shi" ("A Story of Romance"), swept China in 1997 and brought the now-seasoned actress and director Xu Jinglei to the limelight.

The upcoming remake will be the first project in a joint cultural exchange program between China's Avlight Cultural Industry Group and the South Korean company COMA, to which Lee belongs. The two companies officially signed a cooperation deal on Saturday in Beijing.

Along with Lee, cast members from the Chinese side will include Taiwan actor Teddy Wang Jianlong, and mainland actress Lu Enhua.

Lee Jun-ki is widely known in China for his role as a feminine clown in the 2005 Korean hit film "The King and the Clown." He further cemented his Chinese fan base with last year's TV drama, "The Time between Dog and Wolf."
