The Wednesday and Thursday MBC drama, Goong, has been confirmed in filming a sequel.

A high executive from MBC expressed that it is confirmed in producing a sequel. They said that in order to connect the story, they requested it to extend it with 2 to 4 episodes. As with the sequel plot, it is currently considered as a story about their university life.

On the other hand, Goong's main leads are not confirmed yet. Yoon Eun Hye and Joo Ji Hoon expressed that they have not obtained a notification from the company yet.

In MBC drama, Goong, Joo Ji Hoon plays the role of a prince and is quickly gaining popularity from this role, helping him in the advertisement field.

In a month, he has signed with three comercials (NakeNine, Von, GreenTime). Recently he has also signed with large-scale shopping center 'Hiheriut' for 180,000,000 won for a 6 months contract.

Hoon is open in all fields such as movie, drama, and music with 20 drama scripts waiting for him. It is now obvious that his popularity will quickly continue to rise.

On the other hand, because of Goong, Yoon Eun Hye became the center of attention of many. After filming Goong, she has been busy filming comercials. Along with Hoon, they have became the prince and princess of the advertisement world.

When I saw him in Goong for the first time I Was actually thinking "This must be a Korean Joe Cheng".... Looking at his background, began his career with a model and his LENGTH! 187 cm (Joe is 188)...kind of made me speechless.

Anyway, I've just noticed him in Goong =) I find him a great actor! He's not really the type of guy I'll drrol over, but he really suits in that prince role he got in Goong!

Hopefully I'll see more of him.

When I first saw him in pictures i was thinking him as the handsome Shin?? hmm doesn't seem to do justice to the shin in the manga. He slowly grew on me watching his acting in goong. I am now firmly rooting for him with cg.

He is SOOO HOT!! I was always a Shin camper, but the last 5 episodes of Goong just made me love him even more...I went weak in the knees everytime is cried. I can't wait until the 1.5 special is Chinese-subtitled! I watched it solely in Korean and it seems to be a lot was focused on Joo Ji Hoon!!

I watched the Special 1.5 without knowing any korean...when they laughed, I laughed wif them....feel contented juz by seeing Shin and CG interaction ~ sufferring fm a big withdrawal of Prince Shin and Shin ChaeGyung

Oww I luv him.... At first I didn't like this cold prince in the first ep of Goong, but I grew to him after watching this series further.... Ooooooow.... He's soooo cute with CG.... hahahahahah....

I hope he will be back for season 2 with YEH, the two of them look so good together.

There hasn't been any official confirmation for Season 2 yet but it's almost certain Joo Ji Hoon and Yoo Eun Hye will both be back on board. Until then, both are going to be resting for the majority of April and select their next project in May. Joo Ji Hoon has a whole bunch of movie and drama offers!

When i first saw him on the advert picts for Goong i was like.. "that guy is ugly but the other one(Yul) is cute" so i gave the show a shot.
Now i prefer JJH over the guy acting as Yul in goong!
He is so great in the drama.

I also notice he likes to eat! In the BTS of Goong Epi 20 he kept eating a marshmallow-like kinda snack and couldn't stop! And in another video eating with other celebs (some kinda eating programme i think) they were eating ribs or something and while the others finished eating and were talking, he just kept on eating! So cute! Wonder how he keeps that figure of his!
