i like Shawn. i started likin him after i watch Diva-Ah Hey. my god, he was really cute in there! luv the bittering between Shawn & Jordan; sooo funny . him & Niki lookz very compatible 2gether. actually i think they look perfect 2gether! no doubt, Niki Chow is my fav. Shawn Yu's luv-interest! oh yeah, therez this 1 song that was playin in the movie (during the development of Shawn-Niki relationship), did Shawn sing that song? if that is him (which im guessing it is), then he really has a nice singin voice (better then Edison)!
then i watched IA2, thought he was pretty cool. but i gotta admit, i didn't pay much attention 2ward Shawn's "Ah Yan", because i was 2 obsess w/ Francis's character, "Ah Hau".
i actually bought the VCD of In Law-Out Law b/c i wanna c Shawn w/ Coco Chiang. didn't regret buyin it, because Shawn was really funny in there (the most charismatic in the movie as well). luv his character a lot, esp luv how he was lusting after Coco Chiang . can't blame the guy, since she was smoking hot! though i felt sry 4 him gettin beat up just 2 b w/ her. well, i like Shawn & Coco 2gther. character-wise, they don't seem 2 match, but hell whoz care, they look cute 2gether!
recently i watch Jiang Hu. thought he was pretty hot in there, though i didn't like Lin Yuan as his luv-interest. the whole time, i wish Coco Chiang (or Niki Chow) could just replace her.

I actually started to know Shawn from watching Interal Affairs and Feel 100%. I loved the character when he was in Feel 100%. Then I started listening to his music and actually enjoying some of his songs. Then I watched the Taiwan series with Rainie Yang and fell in love with him. He does look cute and I think he looks really good with Rainie Yang.

Shawn Yue Man Lok two nights ago attended a taping of a TVB program. He expressed that he has already recovered from his basketball injury but could not move too much yet. He could only be the team captain and sing. He said that earlier when he went to China to make a movie and hindered his recording progress, his record label was already complaining about going over budget if he did not complete the recording soon. He expressed that earlier he was busy with acting and affected his recording quality. He could only pay for his own singing lessons. For now he will not work on another movie and focus on record promotion even though he is making less money.

The third episode in the new series of "Super Trio Show" was recorded two days ago and guests included Andy Hui, Shawn Yue, Stephanie Cheng, Belinda Hamnett, Ruby Wong and Lam Suet. There were sparks right from the start when Eric Tsang asked Shawn if he won the award for Best Male Singer, what would be better about him than Andy? Shawn replied awkwardly: "I am a little bit younger than him." At this point, Andy, who was standing to one side immediately rushed onto the stage pretending to be angry and shocking Shawn into running away. Andy then pointed at Shawn and joked: "You will have a day when you are old!"

During a game, Eric make them yell insults at each other and Shawn and Stephanie were at each others necks, with Stephanie even bordering on using a rude expletive that caused a few gasps from the audience. Also Lam Suet's mispronounciation of 'so easy' made it sound like he too was swearing, but Chin Ka Lok supported him, saying it was just a pronunciation error. Lam explains that he is from Tianjin, so his Cantonese is not perfect and sometimes he has to ask the director to change the script to accommodated this. As for nearly swearing, he shook his head and said: "At the time I was a little frightened, I never though it would be so easy to get into trouble." Stephanie explained that she did not mean to be rude: "Shawn and I are from the same record company, so I know he is a good sport, but next time I will be more careful." Shawn also denies that there are any personal conflicts between him and Stephanie, laughing that they were just stirring up some atmosphere because they knew each other well. As for him calling out all night to win the $5000 cash prize and then not winning it, he says he does not mind because he took nearly $100,000 in prizes.

Also, last week's first episode of the show aired on Sunday and gained average ratings of 28 points, peaking at 31 points. This is not a bad result, but the seaweed eating contest received some complaints. Producer Chan Chi Kau indicates that every time they air the show there are complaints, but these are dealt with by the company and the games in future episodes will be rearranged accordingly. Jerry Lamb responded to the complaints about the show being a bad influence on children, saying that people should not be so critical of gameshows because they are designed to bring happiness. He laughs: "Hong Kong people look at other people with moral standards, but have a different stance when it comes to teaching their own children. With only five complaints, if we change because of them, then how will we react to the complaints of the other several million people?"

Emme Wong Yee Man and Shawn Yue Man Lok yesterday attended a Metro Radio Hacken Lee Hark Kun singing impersonation contest. Emme on the announcement specified that after her performance she has another job to go to and tehe press speculated that she wanted to avoid Ah Lok. Emme denied the accusation. "I am at the beginning he is at the end, which is the event's arrangement. Tonight at the firework I will see him anyway, there's no avoiding him." Ah Lok said, "She is a great friend. She is like a guy, righteous, loyal, we don't have any romantic chemistry."

Just 1 LOok is actually the 1st movie i saw Shawn in, n i gotta say i didn't like him in there at all. nothing 2 do w/ Shawn personally, it's his character i hated. n i still hated his character even if i like Shawn now.

Among the young HK actors, I love Shawn the most.
I love his acting, his voice and his overall personality.

I first took notice of him in Just One Look... found him so cool.
I've watched and enjoyed all his movies but my fave ones are IA2 and Feel 100%.

Shawn Yue is soooo hot, been a fan of him since the song "return your key". I love his singing and acting. His voice is so man! But his cds only have like 7 songs on it and they usually release only once a year but his songs are amazing. I think as one of the new ppl his acting career is larger than his singing career. He's been in so many good movies already. Ya i agree, he is kind of under rated.

Shawn Yue Man Lok, Vangie Tang Wing Chi, and Pong Nan (Nam Yik Bong) yesterday attended a Christmas carnival. Ah Lok revealed that this year he said "empty surprise" Christmas. He and co-workers held a Christmas party and each guest had to prepare a gift that is less than HK$100. At first he thought that he got the big prize. "I saw how big the prize was and thought it was great. When I opened it it was full of tissues, one hundred packs of them. I was all disappointed! I got a big box of condoms at the clothing store. Some are camoflagued. My former make up artist got it. I even put it in a Gucci box."

yeah i'll admit, the BEST thing that Eddie has 2 offer is his cute lookz. acting-wise, it's good that he IS improving...but still needs a lot more improvement. singing-wise...okk, i still don't think he can sing that well.
between Shawn & Eddie, both r good-lookin, but Shawn is a better actor & a wayyyy bettwe singer. but of course, judgin by the media, we all know who is the "underrated" one...which is a pity, if u ask me

i must say that he is a better actor than edison though, and in terms of music, at least he hasn't started rapping...yet...

2004 Outstanding Performance Awards

Gold: Edison Chen
Silver: Shawn Yue
Bronze: Jade Kwan

With the reports of physical conflict between Edison Chen and Shawn Yue on the stage in previous years, when Edison and Shawn were presented with 'Outstanding Performance' awards, there was obviously some animoscity between them as they ignored each other and Edison was not happy at all. Later on when asked why he was upset, Edison said: "Last year I won the improvement award, this year I get the outstanding performance award, it feels like I haven't improved at all. I want to win a JSG Gold award because this is a comparison with other people and not with myself." Later Edison continue to protest as he was supposed to duet with Andy Hui in a performance, but he refused to sing and Andy had to improvise and keep singing along. When Hacken noticed this, he turned and asked him to start singing, but later Edison just left the stage early. On the other hand, Shawn seemed to be very happy and indicated he was just along for the ride and had not thought about winning any awards at all, so he was surprised to have won the silver award.
