When asked abt newspaper articles that say the 4 of them dont get along, Jerry said the 4 of them keep in contact with each other & that Vanness & Vic visited him when he was filming WT/The Hospital. Vanness Wu, Li En Hui, High from playing
Vanness Wu, who is preparing for his concert in HK, but there's rumours in Taiwan that, when korean actress, Li En Hui visited Taiwan last month, Vanness was spotted with Li En Hui and a group of famous models in a particular resturant in Taipei, playing till very high. Li En Hui came to Taiwan to celebrate her birthday last month, and to record something for Silence, a low profiled schedule. Silence's male lead, Zaizai was being too strictly controlled by his girlfriend, Da S and had no fate in having dinner together. However, Li En Hui and her friends conincidently met Vanness and male model, Cheng En Feng during dinner. Person who spotted it revealed,when they were having dinner that night at Taipei Ming Da Dao's Ming Dong Guan, the boss specially invited his guests to change their tables as they were taking a table which was more private. He even expressed, "Because there are important guests, please change your seats." Afterwhich, a group of modern dressed guys came. Among were Vanness Wu, Cheng En Feng and some other male and female models. Not long after, Li En Hui and her friends went into the resturant, happy seeing Vanness and started introducing and quickly, they started chatting. With so many of them having dinner, when they were high, a female model didn't bother about her image and sat on one of the guys' lap. The person revealed, at first he thought they were preparing for a show, that's why they appeared daring. Ka Si's manager, Zhang De Ling expressed, Cheng En Feng have gotten hold of a advertising design company last year and have started to back out from the entertainment scene. Vanness and him are good friends and knew one another when they first started out in the circle. "They have always eaten together, it's their friendship privately. But Cheng En Feng is concentrating on doing his designs recently, and is not going to film any shows." Kangta & Vanness Wu 'Win-win duet'
This spring project group will release both Korean and Chinese album Kangta will make a team with Vanness Wu, a member of Taiwan popular group F4. They will make a project team and act in both Korea and China. In the middle of this month they are supposed to decide their team name and title song and record their album. Kangta and Vanness got to know when they performed and met often in China. Vanness has interest in acting in Korea, so he is glad to make a duet with Kangta. F4 visits Kindergarten, Foursome Showcase Charm
F4 is currently working hard in their rehersals for their coming concert. As Ren Ci hospital is one of the sponsors for the concert this time round, the four of them took time out to the kindergarten and training centre under Ren Ci to visit in order to know their service. On the day of the event, F4 was influenced by the energetic and adorable kids at the centres. They played games with them and even prepared sweets and presents for them, making them so happy and very crowded atmosphere. Among, Jerry and Vanness went to Yuan Xuan School under Ren Ci hospital to visit. When they arrived, they were made happy by little children who wore the tang suits. Both even got the little girl's liking, who kept talking to them and they sang the children's song, Feng Yang Hua Gu with the kids. However, when they were playing the hulla hoop with the children, their tall build became their burden and couldn't win the little kids and was defeated. During the event, the popular part was still the present giving out section. Jerry and Vanness showed their big brothers attitude and gave presents to the little children. When Jerry saw this fat little kid who was very cute, he couldn't help but chatted with him. Ken and Zai went to Yan Xu Yu Shan's kindergarten to visit and played games with the children there. When they were playing the "Da Feng Cui" game, they were very engrossed in the game. When everyone was throwing bean bags, Ken's team won in the end and Ken immediately raise his hands to show victory. Both were laughing out loud whenever they saw the children's funny expressions. Afterwhich, the kids presented the tee-shirts which they drew F4 on it to Ken and Zaizai as memories. During the present giving ceremony, they were invited by many to takes pictures together. Among, girls made up the most percentage and both of them were praising these little girls for their bravery. Though promoted as their last Hong Kong concert, the performances failed to attract as much media attention as the rumored romance between F4's Jerry Yan and local diva Lin Chi-ling. Lin was reported to have mysteriously disappeared during a commercial shoot in Guangzhou and was later spotted poorly disguised at the F4 concert. As for the concerts themselves, they were more of a musical disaster, as the pretty boys were caught lip-syncing to pre-recorded songs when they were forced to stop as they couldn't hear their own voices on stage. Remains alone in HK after F4 Concert, Vanness Wu plays around in the night
After F4 ended their concert in HK on the 25th, each member slowly went back to Taiwan to continue their work. However, Vanness did not leave together with the other 3 but stayed alone in HK to have fun. After since the reports of rumours that have have broken up with Vanness, Vanness was not even linked to any female celebrity names. On the appearence, he looked like he is quietly recuperating, but in fact, his playful character didn't change. Last Wednesday (28th March), our newspaper realised Vanness had gone to TsiumShaTsuai's Fat Angelo’s with a local band for dinner and drinks. According to what is known, Vanness would be conducting solo tours in Japan together with this band and he is trying to build up the relationship since he is in HK for the f4 concert. That night, Vanness treated a group of 6 people to a Italian meal and they opened 5 bottles of red wine. As it was a whole group of guys, Vanness appeared comfortable and would point and talk about some good looking girls there sometimes. They didn't leave even after playing for 4 hours. There are issues that shake a nation, but these are the top 6 stories that rocked our readers' worlds F4 They came, we saw, they blew us away. From all points of the Taiwanese invasion that was F4-in-Manila, StarStudio tagged along with the Meteor crew. The biggest story of 2003 may have been the Kris Aquino-Joey Marquez gun-cocking scandal, but nothing can beat the hysterics of the 20,000 fans that filled the ULTRA September 13 that year to see Vanness Wu and Ken Chu perform. Diehard fanatics didn't mind braving the rains, or shelling out P10,000 for VIP tickets. And singing along to Taiwanese ditties most of them barely understood. November 29 of the same year, it was the foursome's other twosome Jerry Yan and Vic Zhou's turn to wow Manila. The day they arrived at the NAIA, Jerry was nursing a fever and had an allergy to sampaguitas but showed no signs he was under the weather. That night at the concert held at the Fort, Vic serenaded the crowd with his solo hits. The only English word he uttered was "hello." The F4 concert tour that all their worldwide fans have been waiting for kicked off at the Hong Kong Coliseum. March 22's opening night saw fans from all over the globe welcoming the band with hundreds of bouquets and causing huge traffic tailbacks. F4 entered the stage from above sitting on a 4-headed dragon singing Ask For More and "Won't Ever Lose You", which immediately drove the audience wild.
During the solos, Vanness Wu sang "Sad Farewell", gave a spectacular dance performance and showcased some Kung Fu moves too. Vic Zhou offered a magic dance number with a girl dancer stealing the show with their attractive dance/kiss performance. Ken Zhu's number was the swing version of "A Good Guy" coupled with some fancy dance moves. On top of that he also impressed with his quality guitar playing and drum performances. Jerry Yan received the most frenetic applause, however, when he performed a sizzling hot dance and went on to seduce everybody with "Fairy Tale". Even though they are frequently reported to be at odds and are in danger of breaking up, F4 always maintain their united high quality on stage. Finally not only did they stand shoulder to shoulder presenting Meteor Rain, but on the last day of the 3 day event Jerry, Vic and the others embraced as if to confirm the "4 band members' Forever@Friendship" in accordance with the tour name - F4 Forever 4. Vanness Wu, Trains Hard for Eight Abs
After Vanness Wu let off his relationship with Vivian Hsu, he engrossed himself in his work and he is getting more and more big shot in his singing style. However, they're way of working with one another hasn't changed much from the previous way. 10 days ago, F4 ended their concert in HK. Vanness, who did well admitted after the concert that he did suffer for this concert. His main point was to train for his body of to have muscles. Everday, he would only take in 3 things, egg white, cabbage, water cooked with chicken breast, adding to the non-stop exercising, bearing and working out, he finally managed to train his current 8 abs after half a year. Then last month, Taiwanese group F4 reunited to stage three concerts at the Hong Kong Coliseum. So is it really Forever 4 for another stab at the music charts? Or more like Faded 4, a tired old boy band desperate to make a comeback? In Japan, at least, there has been a renewed interest in F4, which consists of Jerry Yen, Vic Chou, Vanness Wu and Ken Chu. It all started early last year with the official launch of its first album, Meteor Rain, which had originally been released elsewhere in Asia in 2001. The album went up to No 3 on the local Oricon Chart's Top 10 Best-selling Korean/Chinese albums, and it was the only Chinese act among Korean favourites like Ryu Si Won. An official international fan club, F4ever, was also formed. F4 fever surged again with the broadcast of the group's 2001 TV drama Meteor Garden on Japan's free-to-air TV, followed by a promotional tour in August, with Vic and co-star Barbie Hsu. SELL-OUT CONCERTS With F4's Hong Kong concerts sold out for three nights, it looks like a region-wide comeback is in the works. Jerry said in a video clip posted recently on their international fan site: 'It's been years and we're gathered together again. With such a long hiatus, would Singaporeans still care enough to welcome an F4 comeback? Die-hard fans say yes, and so do some media and industry sources The New Paper spoke to. HIM Music's chief promotions manager Merisa Chu said: 'Their popularity may have dipped, but F4 used to be a legend, so no matter what, they'd still have their hardcore fans.' Added Lianhe Zaobao journalist Ng Chin Chin: 'The selling point is in having F4 as a group. As long as the four of them are together, F4 still has appeal. 'Their concert in Hong Kong was such a sell-out, so I don't foresee them faring any worse in Singapore.' Over 50 Singapore F4 fans flew to Hong Kong for this concert last month. PAID OVER $2,000 F4 fan Diana Chng, 24, said she 'begged insiders to get concert tickets' and forked out over $2,000 for her trip. She believes F4 is still popular, saying: 'CNN does not interview anyone whose popularity is dying'. F4 appeared on CNN's Talk Asia series last month, after Japanese-Taiwanese heart-throb Takeshi Kaneshiro and Korea's Rain. Concert promoters, however, are less confident of the group's drawing power. The two biggest promoters here, Hype Records and Unusual Productions, have no plans yet to bring F4 in. When asked if they think F4 still has appeal here, both spokesmen said they have yet to survey the market. One obstacle could be the group's new asking price. An insider who declined to be named told The New Paper that for its comeback tours, F4 now commands a 'sky-high fee' that local concert promoters cannot afford. He said that the show will require a turnout of 20,000 just to break even. Singapore's largest venue, the Singapore Indoor Stadium, can only accommodate up to 10,000 people. Also, there is the issue of whether F4 is still interested in the Singapore market, he added. Hype Records successfully organised F4's three sold-out concerts here in 2002 and 2003. But its spokesman, Mr Jonathan Tan, said there has been 'no request from Taiwan so far' for F4 to perform here. Understandably, F4's appeal here is no longer a guarantee as it was in its heyday. Since the group split, its Singapore fans have either switched camps to other boy bands like 5566, or jumped onto the Korean wave fronted by hunks like Bae Yong Joon and Won Bin. The biggest fan club here, Only F4, once had 48,000 online members, said its vice-president Ms Stephanie Loh. Now, only 200 to 300 active members are left. Still, eight out of 10 fans said they would still pay to see F4 in concert. Said Ms Liu Mei Feng, 21: 'The F4 trend is only fading because the members keep doing their own things instead of working as a band. 'But I still keep an eye out for news of F4 and Jerry Yen.' Ms Joey Fung, 20, and Ms Lim Shiqi, 17, said 'F4 is so over!'. They have moved on to newer idols, like K-pop acts TVXQ and Fly To The Sky. But Ms Janice Toh, 31, said she would still buy tickets for old times' sake. 'It's been a long time since I last saw Jerry, and he's still the one and only star I've ever gone crazy over.' -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What's keeping them busy JERRY YEN, 29 The model-turned-actor has been busy filming Taiwanese medical drama White Tower. He has also been making headlines for his supposed romance with supermodel Lin Chi-ling. VANNESS WU, 27 His last movie Dragon Squad (2005) received lukewarm reviews and, instead of a follow-up to debut album Body Will Sing, he has been guest starring in music videos for his pals Nicky Lee and Lee Hom. He was recently spotted with Korean actress Park Eun Hye and some female models at a Taipei nightspot. KEN CHU, 27 He was in the news recently for dating actress Kelly Lin, his co-star in the drama Yuan Dong Guo Ji Da Shen Pan (The Far East Trials).
