I'd been in AF for so long but i never knew there are so many LYF topic under the Taiwanese entertainment column-this is the 1st time i came in here......Anyway, count me into your geng...hahaha

I have some crab's to share, n here it goes...

1.) I first notice LYF in "Story of a Noble Family" where she play a supporting role, a small villian role. Then, i'm like "wow, this girl is pretty"

2.) I saw some promotional clip of the movie "Love of May" and i'm like "She looks fimiliar n she's very pretty"

3.) Then, i saw her in Tian Long BaBu. And i'm again "wow, she's damn pretty" And....that's where i realize i'd seen her in Love of May and later i also thought of noble family. From then onwards, i remembered her and started to like her- The pretty girl.....

4.) I decided that i should buy the movie "Love of May" and i enjoyed seeing her, although i have to admit that the movie sucks.

5.) The day i fell in love with her is when i watch "Padalin". I'm wondering how on earth could a girl be so angelic and attracting.

6.) i started to get to know her- i mean her biodata and stuff like that. That's when i realize, we share the SAME birthday. And that's the day i'd officially made myself her Fan. Hahaha......

that's all about my crabbing. Hope no one felt asleep half way through. hahaha

oh my goodness. gosh i cant believe shes getting all these roles just cause her father has some connections. mang shes only what 17 or 18? so young to be getting such roles. shes not even that pretty. i think her lips are too fat and shes not experienced enough to be acting such roles like in Return of the Condor Heroes. Think of all the other girls who have played siu long lui....all have been acting for a while. i dont think she should have been given this role shes way too young. shes supposed to be older than the guy...but yet she looks wayyy younger.

not sure if you're the same person who mention this kind of crap but i'll say it again.

1) is it so wrong to have connection to get work? i got my job through my friends/families. plus, i don't think it's connection. the director/producer of ROCH ASKED Liu Yi Fei to star in the next Duke of Mount Deer but she turned it down. Is it still connection? I think not.

2) you could say whatever you want about her appearance. it's your opinion. it seem as if you like Qiaoen. If you put a poll up in this forum or other forum between LYF & QE, LYF will win hands down.

3) not experience enough to play ROCH? let me ask you this...if you had the chance to star in ROCH...would you take it or would say " nah, i'm not experience enough...i should let other take the role instead " no one is stupid enough not to take the role. if anyone had the chance to do so...i know they would...i would take in an instant.

4) DO NOT...and I'll say it again...DO NOT mention anything about ROCH if you haven't read it. You're using the past series to compare with the new series. If you read the book, you know that Xiao Long Nu suppose to look younger than Yang Guo. Xiao Long Nu is four years older than Yang Guo but she suppose to look younger than Yang Guo. She doesn't age quickly as other people due to the jade bed she sleep on plus the martial art she practice. At age 22, the book stated that she looked 16-17 years old. Liu Yi Fei is the only Xiao Long Nu so far that fits the description of the novel. The past Xiao Long Nu looks much older than Xiao Long Nu suppose to be.

btw, to the rest, xiao long nu is in mandarin, siu long lui is cantonese.

Lastly, to add- acting doesnt count age or years of experience. If a person acting skills is superb, they may act in whatever age they like. the only thing is the look.

As for xion long nu character elder than Yang Guo, that's true. In fact a lot elder. But didnt you know that based on the novel, the figure of xiao long nu is as if she's only 16.

I have never seen Patty's acting before.... but i was really shocked to know that she's going to play the next Xiao Long Nu... omg... I really think she gets the role juz because she's the famous reporter in Dong Feng... but Yi Fei was different!!! I really think she dreserves this role!!!!
