Synopsis
Sakaki "Tornado" Makio (Nagase Tomoya), the tough 27 year-old young master of the Kantou Sharp Fang yakuza family loves alcohol, fighting, women and pudding. However, he is a high school drop-out. actually i guess it would be boring if you're not into the slow-paced story of beautiful yuya.. im biased cuz im obsessed with kame..
but i love the show!

my boss my hero is really good though..
i think this is only koki's 4th time being in a drama..
and in kindaichi he only appeared for a super super short bit.. and he said like one line i think... dont rly remember
so his acting experience is very limited.... but still he's so adorable as manabe..

it was sooo cute when he made the jerseys for the team!
and it's hilarious that he embroidered nagase's underwear..
well koki didn't actually do it.. but i mean manabe is such a cute character!

his rapping is cool.. hahah i heard he writes the english parts.. notice the limited vocab but i love it anyway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

he's a fun guy.. well that's what i get from watching the makings of pvs and backstage stuff.. he's hilarious

It's like in the first episode where the other Yakuza guy [in the trade] goes "ARE YOU AN IDIOT" in chinese I believe? And Koki's like "WHAATTT" his eyes pop out so much and it doesn't look at real [But I did have a good laugh at the eyes popping out. xDD].
Koki definetly looks the part, doesn't seem he can act it that well. >_>;

hmm..sorta agree with you <b>hiddenhappiness</b>. Kinda like in DREAM BOYS..when he and Kame were just talking. I think he's better suited for improv stuff. but this is first drama, he has time to improve.

[dont kill me nagase tomoya fans..] but nagase's acting is so fake
and overly exaggerated..
that's his style i guess.. he hasnt' changed since mukodono....
i don't rly like it but it's funny

koki needs time to get better at acting.. he's cute and funny and that's enough for me for now
i like koki's exaggerated acting better than nagase's though..

the thing about kame talking about itoh was a rumour.. im not sure if it happend.. but kame's so gentlemanly it's very doubtful..
i was just saying that it's the truth anyway she's a terrible actress..

on a show.. koki said something about kame talking to himself.. and it was very scary.. i dont know if this is true either cuz i didnt get to see the clip.. but that makes me sad..

I disagree, I love Kame's acting, and I love him for his acting, and think that he is great at it. As for Koki, I think his acting is pretty good for a person who doesn't have much acting experience in dorama. In My boss My Hero, I think that Tegoshi's acting is the worst, but maybe its just his character, but at times, some of his expressions seems a little weird. His acting was better in his last dorama.

Not trying to start an argument, but if you haven't watch Kame's drama then you shouldn't comment on his acting. I am not just saying that he is a good actor because I like him. I didn't know him when I started to watch "Nobuta wo produce" and didn't watch it because of him, but then his acting and his protray of his character in the dorama made me notice him, not his looks. I am not one of those crazy fans that thinks everything their idol do is great. And also since this is Koki's thread, we should stick to posting about Koki, instead of other people.

New subject: anyone else hate how Nagase's character is alway yelling at Koki's character, I just wish that he treat Koki's character better, since Koki's character is so nice to him and gave up being the leader of his own group to be under him in his group.
